By keeping Nabers off the list, the Giants can integrate him into practice as he progresses. He will have a reduced workload early in camp, but the team will have the freedom to determine his participation on a day-to-day basis. Even if Nabers isn't ready for the opener, the Giants can evaluate him weekly rather than locking in a four-game absence. |

| Footballguys view: This won't be confirmed until Nabers passes a physical, but it is a turn to a more optimistic view of Nabers recovery from knee surgery than we heard during the offseason. His ADP is likely to spike back into the second round, and Jaxson Dart's stock could also be lifted by this news. Still, it was reported elsewhere yesterday that Nabers has a "realistic chance" of playing Week 1, which indicates that this isn't exactly a routine return from a routine knee surgery. Nabers had a second surgery around late April/early May to "clean up" scar tissue that was causing stiffness. We will be monitoring this closely, stay tuned. |

Coaches feel that Likely can become a weapon as OC Matt Nagy's "U," or receiving tight end, setting up shop in the slot, and creating logistical mismatches for opposing defenses. He can also be used as a blocker, but the Giants have others who will do that. Likely is being drafted as TE12. |

Harbaugh said that he sees a chance to do "a lot of the stuff that we did in Baltimore with Lamar [Jackson]," in terms of attacking defenses in multiple ways. A concussion kept Dart out of two games, and concussion checks forced him out of parts of other contests. Still, Harbaugh downplayed concerns by again citing Jackson. "You say something like that to Lamar, and he kinda just looks at you like you've got three heads," Harbaugh said. Dart likely feels the same. |

Still, Skattebo has already been seen doing individual work and taking part in team periods during the offseason program, so the ramp-up has been heading in the right direction for a while. A healthy August gives Skattebo time to regain his timing in the run game and get back into the pass-protection work that is harder to judge in spring practices. |

| Footballguys view: Tracy was a receiver in college, and that skill set has translated well to his early NFL career. Skattebo is also a great receiver, giving this backfield some promising young depth. Skattebo is still recovering from a season-ending ankle injury, putting Tracy in line for what could be extra early-season work. He's falling into the double-digit fantasy rounds, providing a bit of stand-alone value and contingent upside in the event of an injury to Skattebo. |
