Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) has been ruled out for Week 18.
Footballguys view: It's a disappointing end to a disappointing season for Harrison. This was an injury-riddled season for Harrison, and he finishes his sophomore campaign with 41 catches for 608 yards and four receiving touchdowns. Michael Wilson has been a breakout player for the Cardinals this year, and he's in line for a large workload (low-end WR1 for Fantasy GMs) in Week 18 against the Rams on Sunday.
Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (foot) suffered a foot injury during the Week 17 game but will be active for the Week 18 game if he is medically cleared to play, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon.
Footballguys view: Harrison has been dealing with a heel issue in recent weeks, which caused him to miss multiple games. He was questionable entering this past Sunday but played on a limited snap count, appearing in just 19 plays throughout the course of the game. When asked about Harrison playing against Los Angeles in Week 18, Gannon said: "If he's healthy enough to play, he'll play." The Cardinals will begin practice on Wednesday, so that's when we'll get our first official injury report for Week 18 -- though it feels like a good possibility Harrison might not be healthy enough to make it to Sunday.
Arizona Cardinals WR Steven Sims reverted back to the practice squad Monday, Dec. 29, after being on the active roster for Week 17.

Arizona Cardinals S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson was credited with nine tackles (five solo) in a Week 17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Link to storyUpdating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals S Kitan Crawford (ankle) did not return to the Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals after suffering an ankle injury.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals LB Cody Simon recorded four solo tackles, 15 total tackles and a half of a sack against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (calf) was targeted one time during the Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals but did not record a reception before leaving the game because of a heel injury.
Footballguys view: Harrison was supposed to become the signature receiver for Kyler Murray as the Cardinals entered a brave new world on offense. His second season has been injury riddled and even more disappointing than his rookie season, something that few contemplated this summer. Jacoby Brissett even revived the passing game, but Michael Wilson was the breakout wide receiver, not Harrison. Harrison should fall even further going into his third season a la Kyle Pitts, but like Pitts, it might not be far enough. Pitts also could end up being a lesson in patience for dynasty players, so maybe this is the right moment to try to buy Harrison in dynasty leagues.
Arizona Cardinals WR Xavier Weaver caught two passes for 24 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He was targeted three times during the game.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals TE Trey McBride caught 10 passes for 76 yards and one touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He was targeted 13 times during the game.
Footballguys view: McBride broke Zach Ertz's single season record for receptions by a tight end - (116 in 2018) and he could hold it for as long as Ertz did or longer. McBride was at 119 at the end of this game and has one more contest against the Rams to cement his place in the record book. If McBride can catch eight passes next week, he'll have of the top 10 reception seasons of all time.
Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Wilson caught five passes for 89 yards and one touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He was targeted 10 times during the game.
Footballguys view: Wilson scored a long touchdown in the first half when the Bengals secondary turned into tackling dummies instead of wrapping him up. Otherwise, it was a futile afternoon for the Cardinals offense even though they were facing one of the worst defenses in the league.

Arizona Cardinals RB Emari Demercado rushed for 11 yards on five carries against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He also caught two passes for nine yards during the game.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed for 29 yards on seven carries against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He also caught two passes for 14 yards during the game.
Footballguys view: Carter fizzled in a good matchup as the Cardinals failed to get a first down on five of their first seven drives. The Cardinals backfield was a disaster this season because of season-ending injuries to James Conner and Trey Benson before the leaves started changing colors.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett went 21-for-37 for 212 yards and two touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17.
Footballguys view: Brissett and the Cardinals offense was almost completely lifeless until garbage time. He had five three and outs, another drive that amounted to one yard, and a long touchdown when the Bengals decided to not tackle Michael Wilson before the Bengals defense went into prevent mode and Brissett bailed out fantasy teams that were relying on him. There's a chance that he is the Week 1 starting quarterback for the Cardinals, and potentially with a new head coach.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 24.
Footballguys view: Harrison Jr. caught 1-of-3 targets for 14 yards in the Cardinals' Week 16 loss to the Falcons. This week, Harrison might be in line to do more. He's a deep flex play for Fantasy GMs, and with Harrison out there it does negatively impact the potential for Michael Wilson.

Arizona Cardinals CB Garrett Williams (Achilles) is feared to have suffered a torn Achilles during the Week 16 game. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI to confirm the injury.
Footballguys view: Williams, 24, is in his third year with the Cardinals after he was selected at No. 72 overall in the 2023 draft. He's started 10 games this year, recording five passes defensed with one interception and a forced fumble. In all, Williams has played 35 games with 27 starts, recording 16 passes defensed with four interceptions.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) plans to play in Week 16's game versus the Atlanta Falcons after having missed the previous two contests due to a heel injury. However, he will not be at full strength and claimed that he will 'probably' be playing injured for the rest of the season.
Footballguys view: Harrison is going to give it a go and play through this heel injury. Against the Falcons on Sunday, we like Harrison as a WR2/flex play. With Harrison out there for the Cardinals, it does ding the potential number of targets for Michael Wilson (who is like a WR3/flex in Week 16).

Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 19, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Footballguys view: When asked about his expected return this week, Harrison responded, "We're going to see." Our rankings favor Harrison over Michael Wilson, but both sit on the WR2/WR3 fringe. If Harrison cannot play, Wilson would move into the top ten.
