Patriots | Hunter Henry works towards being ready Fri Nov 28, 05:08 PM
New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry (toe) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 28.
Footballguys view: Henry has had a handful of boom games this year, keeping him in the mix as a weekly streamer. He erupted for 115 yards and a score last week against the Patriots. This week's matchup with the Giants isn't quite as appealing, but he's always capable of emerging as the Patriots' top pass catcher in any given game.

New England OT Will Campbell (knee) was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, Nov. 26. He will miss a minimum of four weeks.
Link to storyNew England Patriots OG Jared Wilson (ankle) suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 12 and could miss four to six weeks.
Link to storyUpdating previous reports, New England Patriots OT Will Campbell (knee) could land on the Reserve/Injured list with a sprained medial collateral ligament, as head coach Mike Vrabel said he expects him to be out more than a week or two.
Footballguys view: Coach Mike Vrabel told reporters that a roster decision (IR or not) is coming, but "It's (hopefully) nothing that's gonna put him out for the entire season." The hope in New England seems to be, even if he goes on IR, that Campbell would return in four weeks, when it counts the most.
New England Patriots LB Harold Landry went for four totals stops, including three of the solo variety, with a sack, a tackle for loss and two quarterback hits in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

New England Patriots CB Marcus Jones posted five total stops with three solo tackles, two passes defensed and a 33-yard interception return for touchdown in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Link to storyNew England Patriots CB Carlton Davis was good for a team-best eight total stops, four solo tackles and three passes defensed in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte had a pair of receptions for 15 yards on two targets in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

New England Patriots WR Kyle Williams posted a single 18-yard reception on his lone target in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, and he had three kick returns for 86 yards.
Link to storyNew England Patriots WR Stefon Diggs ended up with two catches for 20 yards on three targets in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Footballguys view: Diggs was a dud in a matchup that was supposed to a fantasy bonanza for the Patriots offense. With Kayshon Boutte back, the Patriots have too many mouths to feed at wide receiver. The matchup is good against the Giants next week, but Diggs is only a WR3/Flex with the Patriots offensive line banged up.

New England Patriots TE Austin Hooper went for three receptions for 39 yards on four targets in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

New England Patriots WR Mack Hollins finished with a pair of receptions for 30 yards on six targets in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry ended up with seven receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Footballguys view: Always start your tight ends against the Bengals. Austin Hooper returned for this one, and he even caught a few ball for good gains, but this was Henry's show in the box score. Consider Henry a high ceiling TE1 play against the Giants to see if he can keep this up and give Mark Andrews extra consideration against the Bengals on Thanksgiving night.

New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson rushed six times for just five yards in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, and he had a single 5-yard receptions on two targets.

New England Patriots WR DeMario Douglas ended up with a single 37-yard reception on his only target in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, while adding a 14-yard rushing attempt on his only backfield touch.

New England Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson rushed 18 times for a team-high 66 yards in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, while adding three receptions for 15 yards on four targets.
Footballguys view: Even with the return of Rhamondre Stevenson, the rookie second round pick was the clear lead back. He didn't have a big fantasy day, but Henderson's number was called first in an epic goal line stand by the Bengals when all three Patriots backs got a shot to score, and Stevenson was pedestrian on his other touches. Henderson is still a high ceiling RB2 against the Giants next week.
New England Patriots QB Drake Maye completed 22-of-35 passes for 294 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, and he rushed five times for 22 yards.
Footballguys view: The Bengals defense was about as good as they have been all season, forcing punts and even notching a Geno Stone pick six against Maye in the first half. Maye was able to make enough throws after that - especially to Hunter Henry - to outpace a Bengals team that wasn't able to generate much in the passing game without Ja'Marr Chase. Maye disappointed for fantasy in what was a great matchup, but he also saw two starting offensive linemen go down. Hopefully the offense will be full strength after their Week 14 bye, but before that, they'll face the Giants next week.
New England Patriots DT Khyiris Tonga (chest) suffered a chest injury during the Week 12 game and is considered questionable to return.

New England Patriots OT Will Campbell (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 12 game and is considered questionable to return.
Footballguys view: The Patriots also lost starting guard Jared Wilson in this game. Their offense underperformed expectations against a poor Bengals defense, but they have another good matchup next week against the Giants and then the current AFC #1 seed will get to rest during the bye.
Updating a previous report, New England Patriots OT Morgan Moses (illness) was able to return to the Week 12 game against the Cincinnati Bengals in the first half.
Link to storyNew England Patriots OT Morgan Moses (illness) left the Week 12 game against the Cincinnati Bengals in the first half due to an illness, and he is considered questionable to return.

Link to storyNew England Patriots RBs TreVeyon Henderson, Rhamondre Stevenson and Terrell Jennings will all have roles in the offense in Week 12, but head coach Mike Vrabel indicated that the team will likely lean on the running back that is having the most success.

New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (toe), who is listed as questionable, is expected to play against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye faces the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12, and the Bengals have allowed the most passing touchdowns (25) and second-most passing yards per game (257.3) this season.
Footballguys view: The Bengals don't really play defense, and the Patriots have been cruising against the weaker opponents on their schedule (and there have been many). Maye is one of the most exciting young quarterbacks in the game, so he is not only a QB1 but in line to be the best fantasy quarterback almost every week.
New England Patriots LB Jahlani Tavai (personal) did not practice Friday, Nov. 21, and has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals. LB Harold Landry (knee) and RB Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) practiced in full on Friday and are listed as questionable. DL Eric Gregory (personal) did not practice on Friday and no longer appears on the injury report. WR Stefon Diggs (personal) was limited in practice on Friday and no longer appears on the injury report. DL Christian Barmore (other), WR Kayshon Boutte (hamstring), LB K'lavon Chaisson (ankle), LB Christian Elliss (hip), DL Joshua Farmer (ankle), TE Austin Hooper (concussion), RB Terrell Jennings (knee), and OT Morgan Moses (rest) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) has been cleared and will play in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
Footballguys view: This hamstring injury has kept Boutte out for the last two weeks. In his absence, Mack Hollins has seized the role of the team's primary downfield receiver. There's hope that Boutte will step back in and immediately regain that role, but in his first game back from injury, fantasy managers may want to exercise some patience and see how he looks.

New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) has been cleared and will play in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
Footballguys view: How touches will be split between Stevenson and rookie TreVeyon Henderson is still unknown. Henderson has looked phenomenal lately, scoring five touchdowns over his last two games. Given Stevenson's absence, his role might be limited in his first game back. However, this matchup against the Bengals is one worth targeting. Start Henderson as an RB1 and Stevenson as an RB2.

New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 20.
Footballguys view: Stevenson is getting closer to a return, but we'd like to see a full participation on Friday. He was limited in practice last week then declared inactive for Week 11. Stevenson seems to be trending in the right direction as the Patritos prepare for the Bengals in Week 12.

New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 19.
Footballguys view: Stevenson is trying to work his way back from a painful toe injury. He was limited in practice last week but did not play. A return for Stevenson would mean TreVeyon Henderson would get a reduced workload.

New England Patriots practice squad TE CJ Dippre was signed to the 53-man roster Monday, Nov. 17. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Link to storyNew England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) will participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 17, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
Footballguys view: As CBSSports.com noted, Boutte practiced in a limited capacity before being ruled out against the Jets in Week 11. He previously sat out Week 10 against Tampa Bay. In three appearances before he was hurt, Boutte had an outstanding 10-223-4 receiving line on 12 targets. If he returns, Boutte (along with his teammates) gets a favorable matchup against the Bengals in Week 12.

New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) will participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 17, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
Footballguys view: It's fair to wonder what kind of role the veteran will play upon return. Stevenson's absence has opened the door for rookie TreVeyon Henderson in the backfield, and the second-round pick has responded big time. Henderson has carried the load over the last three games, recording 264 rushing yards and four touchdowns during the stretch. He had a historic Week 11 effort vs. the Jets, scoring all three of the team's touchdowns. We'll be watching Stevenson's progress in coming days -- and we'll be looking for more on potential workloads as well. The Patriots play the Bengals in Week 12.
