Eagles | Jerrod Johnson joins Philadelphia staff Sun Mar 1, 06:19 PM
Former Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson is joining the coaching staff of the Philadelphia Eagles. His exact job is uncertain, but he'll work with alongside head coach Nick Sirianni, offensive coordinator Sean Mannion and passing game coordinator Josh Grizzard.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery quickly refuted a report Sunday, March 1, that he wants out of Detroit after three season due to a significant drop to his amount of carries across the past two seasons. A report surfaced from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that he wants out, and that the Lions want a Day 3 pick in a potential trade. He is under contract in Detroit after signing an extension in 2024, and he is owed $6 million for the 2026 season.

Cincinnati Bengals impending free-agent QB Joe Flacco could join the Atlanta Falcons after free agency begins, as an insurance plan in case QB Michael Penix Jr. (knee) is not ready to play at the beginning of the 2026 season, according to ESPN.com's Dan Graziano. He previously played under head coach Kevin Stefanski as a member of the Cleveland Browns in 2023 and 2025. Other unnamed NFL teams have also expressed interest in Flacco this offseason.
