Cleveland Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. caught three passes for 43 yards and one touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. He was targeted five times during the game. He also lost a fumble during the game.
Footballguys view: Fannin was unsuccessful on a tush push call, but Shedeur Sanders found him open after stepping up in the pocket to account for the Browns only touchdown. Fannin is worth a waiver wire add if he is out there. He'll also be worth a spot in your lineup against the Titans next week.
Cleveland Browns RB Dylan Sampson (calf) rushed for 23 yards on four carries against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13 before leaving the game because of a calf injury.
Link to storyCleveland Browns RB Quinshon Judkins rushed for 91 yards on 23 carries against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. He also caught three passes for 18 yards during the game.
Footballguys view: Judkins added a two point conversion on a direct snap to help put up a good RB2 game despite the lopsided loss. The Browns offense is limited, but their defense should keep games close enough to make Judkins an everyweek RB2 play. He has a high ceiling against the Titans next week, although they shut down the Jaguars running game in Week 13.
Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders went 16-for-25 for 149 yards and one touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. He also rushed for six yards on one carry during the game.
Footballguys view: Sanders actually matched Brock Purdy in quality of play on a windy afternoon, and still deserves to get the rest of the season to prove that he should be a primary player in the Browns quarterback competition next season. He'll be a QB2/Superflex option against the Titans next week as long as the minor injury that briefly sidelined him isn't a problem during the week of practice.
Cleveland Browns RB Dylan Sampson (calf) left the Week 13 game against the San Francisco 49ers due to a calf injury, and did not return. He had four carries for 23 yards with no receptions or targets before departing.
Footballguys view: Sampson's name flickered on the fantasy radar after he took a short pass to the house last week. He was of interest in deep leagues as the backup to Quinshon Judkins. Jerome Ford replaced him as the passing down back.
Cleveland Browns DT Maliek Collins (knee) was carted off the field after suffering a knee injury during the Week 13 game and has been ruled out.

Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders may continue to be the starting quarterback for the rest of the season if he plays well in upcoming games, according to sources.
Footballguys view: Not exactly breaking news here. If Sanders is a better option than Dillon Gabriel (which should not be difficult), then the Browns stick with the fifth-round pick. The Browns may have something here with Sanders, and teammates sure seem to respond to him the right way. Against the 49ers on Sunday, Sanders is a low-end QB2 so most Fantasy GMs will be in 'wait-and-see' mode with the young passer.

Link to storyShedeur Sanders will start at quarterback in Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski announced Monday.
Footballguys view: Sanders will remain the starter even though Dillon Gabriel has cleared the concussion protocol, Stefanski said. With Gabriel sidelined, Sanders completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards with one touchdown and an interception in the Browns' 24-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday in his first NFL start. The victory ended a 17-game losing streak for the Browns in games with a quarterback making his first career start. That was the longest streak by any franchise since 1950, when QB starts were first recorded.
Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett posted five total stops, including four of the solo variety, with three sacks, four tackles for loss and a game-high six quarterback hits. He has 18 sacks on the season, 4.5 short of the NFL record with six games remaining.

Link to storyThe Cleveland Browns have declared OT Cornelius Lucas, RB Raheim Sanders, DE Alex Wright, WR Jamari Thrash, QB Dillon Gabriel and OG Zak Zinter inactive for Week 12.
Link to storyCleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders will be allowed to 'move the pocket a little bit more' against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12 to try to take advantage of his ability to make plays off schedule, according to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
Footballguys view: Good luck with that. Sanders is not a scrambler, and he tended to hold onto the ball too long in college at Colorado. However, he's a precise passer who can carve you up from the pocket. He'll need time to adjust, so expect some struggles from Sanders, but everyone is going to be paying attention to what he does in his first NFL start. Was it a mistake for Sanders to fall to the fifth round? We're fixing to find out.
The Cleveland Browns elevated QB Bailey Zappe from their practice squad Saturday, Nov. 22. He will serve as the backup quarterback to QB Shedeur Sanders in Week 12's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Footballguys view: Sanders is the starter, and Zappe will be the backup. If Sanders holds onto the ball too long (as he did in college), he might take too many hits and that could get Zappe into the game.
Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett (illness) will play in Week 12's game against the Las Vegas Raiders despite missing practice due to an illness Friday, Nov. 21, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Free-agent TE Maximilian Mang (Colts) recently worked out for the Cleveland Browns.
Link to storyCleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 21, and no longer appears on the injury report.
Footballguys view: The team was likely taking a cautious approach with Njoku early in the week when he didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday. This is Njoku's ninth year in Cleveland, and he knows his body well. A full practice on Friday indicates he should be a full go on Sunday. However, concerns about the offense as a whole keep him deep in the streamer tier.
