Head coach Todd Monken said Sunday, Aug. 16 that Sanders will work with the first team Monday and Wednesday, with Watson doing so Tuesday and Thursday. That will also allow both players to get first-team reps in joint practices with the Buffalo Bills ahead of the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 22.

| Footballguys view: Concepcion looked like he is going to play a significant role in this offense, given his talent for adding yards after the catch on safe, high percentage short throws. This was the domain of Harold Fannin Jr. last year, so the rise of Concepcion might not bode well for Fannin's ceiling even though he should be even better in his second season. Concepcion remains worth a pick in the second half of your draft as a speculative bench stash, especially in PPR leagues, but if he and fellow rookie Denzel Boston are hits, Fannin probably won't live up to expectations. |

Given his size and physical style of play, Easterling believes Boston could emerge as more than a threat in the red zone; he might also draw the most targets and catch more passes than the rest of the team's wideouts. KC Concepcion, as WR51, is currently the first Browns receiver off the board, in the 11th round. Boston is WR60, available in Round 13. The team's quarterback will be a factor here, but Boston's drumbeat is getting louder. |

Shedeur Sanders has outplayed Watson, and there's buzz building that last year's third round pick Dillon Gabriel also deserves more snaps with the ones - and maybe should be included in the battle to start Week 1. It feels unlikely that Watson will make up enough ground to start. |

Now we have more confirmation of that. Fannin, who suffered the injury in Week 17 last season, said he was cleared about two weeks ago.
