| Footballguys view: Slayton has been out with this hamstring injury since Week 5. In the two games in which Jaxson Dart started with Slayton, the veteran receiver averaged five targets. The field and playbook have begun to open up for Dart even more since those games, making Slayton a sneaky, albeit risky, flex play in this week's matchup against the Eagles. |

The New York Giants plan to replace WR Malik Nabers (knee) in their offense with a committee approach, since it is difficult for one player to duplicate his production, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. WRs Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton, TE Theo Johnson and RB Cam Skattebo are expected to compensate for his loss and should see additional offensive targets.

Across 16 appearances, he totaled 573 yards (his lowest since 2021) and two touchdowns (ties career-low). This year, Slayton seems excited to get to work with former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Russell Wilson. With a more reliable talent like Wilson under center, it could result in a rebound as Slayton, currently carrying a WR78 average draft position, works alongside talented youngster Malik Nabers. |
