| Footballguys view: Tagovailoa is supposed to be the franchise quarterback that the Dolphins have been searching for since the days of Dan Marino. Rosen is a former first-round pick who is on his second team in only a couple of years. Behind the scenes with the Dolphins last year, Rosen was known as a hard worker but when he stepped onto the field to start in 2019 it was met with disastrous results. Tagovailoa should have no problem beating out Rosen but it sounds like that's not a done deal just yet. |

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen is working with the first-team offense Wednesday, Aug. 14, and is receiving 'true starter burn' this week in practice, according to beat writer Cameron Wolfe.
