John Niyo, of The Detroit News, reports free-agent QB Drew Henson (Lions) is unsure of his plans. He was in Dallas with family when he heard he was let go by the Detroit Lions. Henson plans to return to Detroit and continue throwing and working out on his own. Henson, 29, is not ready to give up on his playing career. 'I just want to look around and see what opportunities might be out there,' Henson said.
| Footballguys view: Henson has been amazing anytime that he's lined up under center - amazingly bad that is. We can't imagine another team giving him a shot at QB with so many better players available. Even if he is signed to a new team, we can't imagine him being a productive QB - or a fantasy option. |
