The Cleveland Browns are hiring Ken Dorsey (Bills) to fill the vacant offensive coordinator position, sources said Sunday, Jan. 28.
| Footballguys view: The Browns acted decisively to secure Dorsey's services, as offensive coordinator spots around the league are being filled quickly. He was the scapegoat for the Bills offensive issues, but statistically, they didn't improve greatly under no longer interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady. We'll see which hire looks wiser next season. |

| Footballguys view: The Bills had to move on from Dorsey as their struggles continued against the Broncos in Week 10. Now, stats show an explosive offense but the Bills have lost their spark in the Dorsey offense. QB Josh Allen has elite talent, but too often he's turning the ball over while trying to do too much. The Bills need to run the ball more, use motions and shifts, and free Allen to be the special player he can be. We'll see if Brady can get that out of this offense as they make a desperate push for the playoffs. |

The Giants seem to be his likely destination with former Bills executive Joe Schoen just hired as their new general manager. | Footballguys view: This move was not announced but changed on his bio, and it makes sense. Dorsey has been with the Bills since 2019 and has done wonders with QB Josh Allen. With Allen about to be one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league, it makes sense to give Dorsey more responsibility. |

| Footballguys view: Shula has been with the Panthers for all of Cam Newton's pro career (since 2011). The Panthers offense faltered under his guidance even though new weapons were added to the mix. We'll see if the Panthers can add more talent to the WR position and get more out of weapons like RB Christian McCaffrey or WR Curtis Samuel with a new offensive coordinator. |
