Free-agent WR Robert Foster (Giants) was signed to the practice squad of the New York Giants on Monday, Oct. 10.
Footballguys view: Foster was on his way to making the team over the summer when a hamstring injury forced the Giants' hand. They kept Keelan Doss over Foster, but now he's back on the practice squad. Foster doesn't do much as a receiver, but he's a deep threat when he's on offense. He's mostly a special teams contributor at this point in his career. |

New York Giants WR Robert Foster (hamstring) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list after injuring his hamstring late in practice Friday, Aug. 19.
Footballguys view: Years ago (2018 to be exact) Foster was able to flash as a reserve player with the Bills. Since then, Foster has fought injuries and bounced around the league. We're pretty much done with him, even in the craziest of crazy deep dynasty formats. |

Free-agent WR Robert Foster (Cowboys) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the New York Giants on Monday, March 14. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
Footballguys view: Foster has flashed a bit during his pro career, and he does have speed and late hands to stretch the field. He hasn't done much as a receiver since 2018 and is mostly a special teams player now. Even though Foster has a Daboll connection with the Bills (and in college at Alabama), he may face an uphill battle to make the 53-man roster. |

Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster and DB Levi Wallace signed their exclusive rights tender offers Thursday, April 2.
Footballguys view: Fantasy GMs were excited about Foster when he emerged down the stretch in the 2018 season, but in 2019 he didn't do much of anything and was buried on the Bills depth chart. He's back for another year, but the Bills traded for Stefon Diggs...a move that further pushes Foster down the depth chart. We'll monitor him in dynasty formats and perhaps when he gets to go to a new team his career will get back on track. |

Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster (toe) has been practicing even though he has been dealing with a toe injury he suffered during offseason workouts.
Footballguys view: This could help explain his drop from a hot finish last year to #4 receiver this year. He is still worth stashing in dynasty leagues but might not contribute much in redraft this year. |
Robert Foster player page
Buffalo Bills WR Andre Roberts has been consistently rotated in with the first-team offense along with WRs Cole Beasley, John Brown, Robert Foster and Zay Jones. 'He's done a good job,' head coach Sean McDermott said. 'We've had some injuries there so he is very willingly stepped up and shown what he has.'
Footballguys view: Roberts is a seasoned veteran who mostly stands out with his play on special teams. He's not much of a fantasy factor with that role, but it is interesting to see him get first-team work as a wide receiver. |

Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster has been working primarily with the second-team offense during training camp, and head coach Sean McDermott said Foster is going through the typical adjustment period that second-year players deal with.
Footballguys view: Foster had great chemistry on the deep ball with Josh Allen last year, but the Bills additions at wide receiver have relegated him to the second team. He should stay on deep dynasty rosters and he'll be on waiver wire speed dial if John Brown gets hurt. The Bills have their best depth at wide receiver in years. |
Robert Foster player page
Buffalo Bills WRs John Brown (personal), Cole Beasley (core), Zay Jones (undisclosed) and Robert Foster (undisclosed) all missed some offseason workouts but all four are expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Footballguys view: The Bills revamped their WR corps this offseason through the draft and free agency. Jones is the top receiver, but the pecking order behind him needs to be established. Beasley can work underneath as a slot receiver, so we'll see if Brown or Foster can win the deep threat job in 2019. |

Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster is the 'most important wideout' for the Bills, according to Bill Barnwell of ESPN.com.
Footballguys view: Foster is going to compete with veteran John Brown to be the favorite deep target for QB Josh Allen. Undrafted out of Alabama last year, Foster came on late last season. He topped 100 yards three times and another week put him over 90 yards once he started playing regularly after Week 10. The Bills added Cole Beasley and Brown earlier this offseason and we'll see how that shakes up the depth chart behind Zay Jones. |
Robert Foster player page
Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster (foot) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 11, because of a foot injury. Head coach Sean McDermott said the injury does not appear to be serious.
Footballguys view: Foster splashed onto the scene last year as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama. The injury is not serious, so we'll be watching Foster closely to see if his chemistry with Josh Allen can continue to grow stronger in 2019. |
Robert Foster player page
Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster led the NFL with 20 yards per catch (minimum 25 receptions) and is one of only four players since 2015 to record three 100-yard receiving games in their rookie season.
Footballguys view: Undrafted out of Alabama in 2018, Foster took some time before he made an impact. It was Week 10 of the 2018 season when Foster burst onto the scene with a three-catch, 105-yard performance. He is a big play target who finished his rookie season with 27 catches for 541 receiving yards and three touchdowns. |
Robert Foster player page
Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster had 511 of his 541 receiving yards in his final seven games, topping 90 yards four times in that stretch.
Footballguys view: Foster was a big part of the Bills passing game as the season went on, and he was one of the best big play wide receivers in the league. Undrafted out of Alabama in 2018, Foster has a good connection with QB Josh Allen and we're excited to see how his development continues. Foster will have new (hopefully upgraded) pass catching weapons around him in 2019 but he showed enough to be someone to consider late in drafts this summer. |
Robert Foster player page
Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster caught four passes for 52 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 16.
Footballguys view: Foster got an end zone target but there was a crowd around him. He wasn't a dud, but didn't come through with the big play that had been fueling recent weeks. |
Robert Foster player page
Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster caught four of five targets for 108 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions.
Footballguys view: Foster is a deep threat on the rise. He was undrafted because Alabama barely used him, but Josh Allen is giving him chances to made plays and Foster is delivering. He's in WR3/Flex consideration on the road against the Patriots next week. |
