Raiders | Kirk Cousins to be starter all season? Sat Jul 18, 01:56 PM
Las Vegas Raiders QB Kirk Cousins is the quarterback the Raiders hope to start for the entire season, but QB Fernando Mendoza can take over the starting job at some point if he picks things up quickly, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Footballguys view: Cousins is looking to bounce back after injuries and the rise of Michael Penix Jr. slowed his role in Atlanta for the last two years. The Raiders have an improved roster for this season, particularly on offense, with an upgraded offensive line and more depth in the backfield. The 37-year-old Cousins is expected to orchestrate that unit and be a mentor to Mendoza regardless of who gets the start in Week 1. But if the veteran holds the starting job all season, fantasy prospects like TE Brock Bowers could benefit.

Cleveland Browns RB Raheim Sanders may have a chance to push RB Dylan Sampson for the No. 2 running back job during training camp since Sampson did not take part in offseason workouts because of an undisclosed injury, in the opinion of the Akron Beacon Journal's Chris Easterling.
Footballguys view: Sanders is a power runner who can fight for tough yardage. He should get an opportunity to carve out a niche as a bruiser who could also help close out games. While much depends on Sampson's availability, if Sanders can provide some help with pass protection, he has a good chance to ensure he's active every week, even if his contributions might be limited.
Seattle Seahawks TE AJ Barner said he believes he can play much better than he did during the 2025 season and is looking to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL.
Footballguys view: Barner emerged as one of the Seahawks' top young offensive players last season, a tight end who is a threat in the passing game, especially in the red zone. But Barner, who's being drafted as TE24 despite last year's TE18 finish, isn't the only breakout candidate in his own position group; 2025 second-round pick Elijah Arroyo, 2026, could also play a more prominent role. With a former tight ends coach, Brian Fleury, taking over as offensive coordinator, there figures to be plenty of opportunities for tight ends to thrive in Seattle's offense.
Seattle Seahawks RB Kenny McIntosh (knee) is expected to be cleared to play at some point during the 2026 regular season.
Footballguys view: Like teammate Zach Charbonnet, McIntosh is rehabbing a torn ACL. It's not clear when either man will return to the field. Meanwhile, George Holani, who stepped up in place of Charbonnet during Seattle's playoff run, as well as free-agent signing Emanuel Wilson, will be competing with rookie Jadarian Price for reps.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman is coming off a disappointing 2025 season, but general manager Eric DeCosta said he expects Bateman to have a productive season in 2026 and is excited to see him in offensive coordinator Declan Doyle's system.
Footballguys view: Last summer, the Ravens signed Bateman to a three-year, $36.75 million contract extension. They did not get their money's worth, as Bateman struggled through an ankle injury and finished with a career-low 224 receiving yards. If the Ravens can get Bateman back to producing as he did in 2024, when he had career-highs of 756 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, that would bring back an explosive element in Baltimore's new offense. Given Bateman's WR93 ADP, fantasy investors aren't expecting the rebound.

RB Jadarian Price, who projects to have a very big role as a rookie. Price will obviously get a lot of carries after last year's leading rusher, Ken Walker III, left Seattle in free agency, and last year's second-leading rusher, Zach Charbonnet, suffered a torn ACL in the divisional round of the playoffs. But Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said Price will contribute more than just running the ball. "We're going to run wide zone, and he's going to run wide zone," Macdonald said. "We're going to run some gap scheme. He's going to run some of that too, and then the pass game he can come alive, too . . . Then, he's a great special teams player as well. The kick return stuff, we'll see how it shakes out in other phases, but he's going to come in and compete with the rest of the guys."
Footballguys view: As Profootballtalk.com notes, NFL teams rarely make their starting running back a kick returner, but Price was a big-play kickoff returner at Notre Dame, returning 22 kickoffs for 794 yards (an average of 36.1 yards per return) and three touchdowns. The Seahawks believe Price will make a lot of plays with the ball in his hands, and they want to give him every opportunity to have the ball in his hands. Seahawks rookies reported to camp on Friday. We'll be watching Price's progress closely.
New York Giants TE Isaiah Likely has 'already shown a connection' with QB Jaxson Dart, according to John Fennelly of GiantsWire.
Footballguys view: The Giants signed Likely to a three-year, $40 million free-agent deal this past March, which immediately thrust him to the top of their depth chart. Coaches feel that Likely can become a weapon as OC Matt Nagy's "U," or receiving tight end, setting up shop in the slot, and creating logistical mismatches for opposing defenses. He can also be used as a blocker, but the Giants have others who will do that. Likely is being drafted as TE12.
Philadelphia Eagles WR Makai Lemon (hamstring) said he is back at full strength ahead of training camp.
Footballguys view: As SBNation noted, with A.J. Brown in New England, Lemon has a clear path to playing the No. 2 role behind DeVonta Smith in an Eagles offense that will have more timing throws (and under-center snaps) for quarterback Jalen Hurts under new coordinator Sean Mannion. The 2026 first-rounder dealt with the hamstring issue throughout the Eagles' offseason program, but he'll work without restrictions once training camp opens. With a WR40 ADP, Lemons is a solid speculative play based on anticipated workload. But he'll need to earn his spot ahead of Dntayvion Wicks, Hollywood Brown, and Elijah Moore.
New York Giants WR Darnell Mooney is expected to be the starting slot receiver after WR Wan'Dale Robinson signed with the Tennessee Titans in free agency.
Footballguys view: Losing Wan'Dale Robinson, who emerged as one of the better slot receivers in the league, is tough, but New York replaced him with a very reliable slot option in Mooney. While he had a down year in Atlanta last season, Mooney has two seasons right around the 1,000-yard mark under his belt. With a WR82 ADP, Mooney is likely to be available on your waiver wire after the seaosn opens.
Darnell Mooney player page
Seattle Seahawks WR Tory Horton (shin) is expected to be a participant once training camp starts. He missed offseason workouts because of his shin injury.
Footballguys view: Horton burst onto the scene early in the 2025 season by catching a touchdown in three of his first five games. In the final game of his rookie season, Horton caught four passes for 48 yards and two touchdowns. But Rashid Shaheed had a strong offseason, and the Seahawks gave him a new contract with the expectation that he'll produce more than he did after his arrival last year. According to SI.com, Seattle needs somebody to complement Jaxon Smith-Njigba, whose target share of nearly 36% last season was the highest of any player since 2012.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Browns center Ethan Pocic, who started 97 games in nine NFL seasons before tearing his Achilles last year, is signing a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
Footballguys view: Pocic is said to be healthy, and he will have a chance to replace former Ravens center Tyler Linderbaum, who signed with the Raiders.
New England Patriots QB Drake Maye is looking to build chemistry with WR A.J. Brown during training camp and hints 'there's already some there for me.'
Footballguys view: Brown didn't join the Patriots until June, so he didn't get much time to work with Maye before the end of the offseason program. So it's nice to learn that there was still enough time for the star wideout to make a positive impression on his new teammate. As PFT's Josh Alper noted, the Patriots were willing to wait to make the trade for Brown because they think he and Maye will take the offense beyond where it was with Stefon Diggs as their top receiver in 2025. Fantasy investors also believe. Brown has risen to WR8 in current ADP.

The Ravens will resume on-field work when training camp opens this month, and they could get some off-field business done before the start of the season as well. Wide receiver Zay Flowers is eligible for a contract extension, and General Manager Eric DeCosta was asked during an appearance on 105.7 The Fan whether he'd like to see that done before the start of the regular season. DeCosta said that he would and that there have been "good conversations" with Flowers' representatives about a deal.
Footballguys view: "Yeah, definitely," DeCosta said. "I love Zay, Zay wants to be here, we want Zay here . . . Certainly a work in progress, optimistic about it. Feel like at some point it will get done." The Ravens have exercised their fifth-year option on Flowers' rookie deal, so he is under contract through 2027 as the two sides try to work out a longer arrangement. Meanwhile, Footballguy Ryan Weisse notes that Flowers was a top-10 receiver last year, catching everything thrown his way. His role should further improve in the new offense and lead to an uptick in scoring opportunities.

Retired DL Aaron Donald is putting himself through football workouts to gauge his level of readiness for the 2026 season if he decides to return, according to Bleacher Report's James Palmer.
Footballguys view: The possibility of the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year playing again emerged after the Rams' blockbuster trade for Browns superstar Myles Garrett. If Donald does decide to play again, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport contends we shouldn't expect the 35-year-old to handle an every-down role: "If he does show up, it would probably even be toward the end of training camp and could even be into the season because he's not going to be playing 50 or 60 plays on defense." Even in a limited capacity, Donald being in the mix would be a nightmare for opposing offenses.

Free-agent OG Brady Christensen (Panthers) agreed to an undisclosed deal to return to the Carolina Panthers Friday, July 17.
Link to storyPittsburgh Steelers WR Michael Pittman Jr. is one of ten receivers to record at least 60 receptions in each of the past five seasons, and his 357 receptions over the last four seasons rank sixth in the NFL.
Footballguys view: The Steelers' wideouts were among the league's least productive units in 2025, combining for 136 receptions (ranking 31st), 1,716 receiving yards (29th), and 76 first downs (30th). Some added firepower could help. A six-year veteran, Pittman, who has 357 receptions over the past four seasons, is a significant WR2 upgrade from a season ago. The Steelers' last wide receiver with 60 receptions in a season was George Pickens in 2023. Pittman, who has finished no worse than a fantasy WR3 in his five NFL seasons, is being drafted as WR41.
Dallas Cowboys WR George Pickens tied the franchise's single season record with five games of 125-plus receiving yards in 2025, and his 10.4 yards per target ranked second in the NFL.
Footballguys view: While CeeDee Lamb attracts a lot of attention from defenses, Pickens broke out in 2025 with 93 catches, 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns. His 10.4 yards per target ranked second in the NFL, and his 2.27 yards after first contact per possession topped all receivers with 100 or more targets. For his career, Pickens averages 16.0 yards per catch. He's currently being drafted as WR10, four spots behind Lamb.
Free-agent DE Patrick O'Connor has announced his retirement from professional football.
Link to storyBaltimore Ravens DT Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) is still making progress in his recovery, and the team will have more information about his injury in the next two weeks, according to general manager Eric DeCosta.
Footballguys view: A two-time Pro Bowler, Madubuike's absence had a ripple effect on Baltimore's defense last season. Only two teams had fewer sacks than the Ravens' 30. Madubuike's 13 sacks in 2023 were the most among all defensive tackles. As the team's official website suggested, his return would give Baltimore a fearsome defensive trio with Travis Jones returning and Calais Campbell coming back to Baltimore.
Nnamdi Madubuike player page
New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte was available in exchange for a fifth-round pick during the 2026 NFL Draft, and there is a good chance he is moved at some point, in the opinion of SI.com's Albert Breer.
Footballguys view: While Boutte sticking around after the Patriots acquired Romeo Doubs in free agency and A.J. Brown in a trade with the Eagles would give the team one of the best receiver rooms in the NFL, it would obviously limit Boutte's opportunities. He'd be the No. 3 option, at best. That's a bad situation for a player hoping to run up the stat sheet and maximize his value after fulfilling the final year of his rookie contract. The Commanders have been mentioned as a possible suitor as they hunt for a WR2. We'll be watching for more.

Miami Dolphins CB Storm Duck (knee) may return to the field soon, but it is not known if he will be ready for training camp.
Link to storyNew Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara agreed to a new deal Thursday, July 16, that includes a $6 million base salary and could be worth $8.5 million in incentives.
Footballguys view: As Profootballtalk.com notes, Kamara's previous contract had him slated to count $10.45 million against the salary cap in 2026. Kamara, 30, has spent his entire career with New Orleans since the club selected him in the third round of the 2017 draft. Last season, Kamara totaled 657 yards from scrimmage, finishing 2025 with 471 yards rushing with one touchdown, along with 33 receptions for 186 yards. The Saints added Travis Etienne at running back in free agency this offseason, which could diminish Kamara's role in the offense. But the veteran is now set to begin his 10th season with New Orleans on a new deal.

Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb's eight drops were tied for the second most in the NFL last season.
Footballguys view: Lamb is coming off his worst statistical season since his 2020 rookie campaign. He dealt with an early-season ankle issue and never quite took off, finishing with 1,077 yards and three touchdowns. Usually an after-the-catch standout, his 322 yards after the catch were down for his standards, too. But Lamb is still a game breaker. His 571 receptions are the fifth most in the NFL since 2020 and already the third most in Cowboys history, as he passed Dez Bryant last season. Based on his WR6 ADP, fantasy investors are in on a Lamb rebound.
CeeDee Lamb player page
Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown is the only player with at least 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches in each of the past three seasons.
Footballguys view: He also became the fourth player in NFL history to top 100 receptions and 10 touchdown catches in three straight seasons. His WR3 total points finish (he was WR4 in points per game) was the fourth straight season he's been a top-ten fantasy wide receiver. Can he keep it going? St. Brown enjoyed a career-high target share in 2025 (31.6 percent), which helped him to 13 top-20 fantasy outings. With no major additions at wideout or tight end, expect Jared Goff to continue looking St. Brown's way consistently.
Amon-Ra St. Brown player page
Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua's eight games with at least 150 receiving yards are tied for the most by a player in their first three NFL seasons.
Footballguys view: Nacua's 668 yards after catch also led all receivers last season, while 80 of his catches went for first downs. He caught 77.2% of his targets, symbolizing his incredible consistency. As ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler suggests, Nacua is the classic plays-faster-than-his-time guy. He ran a 4.57-second 40-yard dash coming out of BYU, but Nacua accelerates through receptions to maximize his speed better than anyone. Expect Nacua, a 2027 free agent, to have another huge season while he seeks a new contract. He has dealt with off-field concerns this offseason, but he still appears to be in the Rams' long-term plans.
Puka Nacua player page
Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase's 19 touchdowns of 40-plus yards since 2021 are six more than any other player during that span.
Footballguys view: This isn't a surprise. Chase's 6,837 receiving yards are the second most by any player within his first five seasons in NFL history, trailing only former LSU teammate Justin Jefferson. His 29 receptions against press coverage topped the NFL in 2025, highlighting his response when challenged at the line. Chase has finished four of his five NFL campaigns no lower than fifth in fantasy points per game -- the exception was 11th in 2023. Of course, Joe Burrow was limited to 10 games that season. Chase's WR1 ADP is hard to argue against.
Ja'Marr Chase player page
New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough is working out with several of his offensive teammates this week in San Diego.
Footballguys view: Shough organized the outing with some help from Drew Brees. Shough's teammates, Juwan Johnson, Chris Olave, Travis Etienne Jr., Bryce Lance, Barion Brown, Audric Estime, and Noah Fant, were among those in attendance -- along with Brees. In his rookie season, Shough, a second-round pick, went 5-4 as a starter and completed 67.6 percent of his passes for 2,384 yards with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. From Weeks 15 through 17 -- fantasy playoffs for most of us -- he was QB8, averaging 19 points per game. He's being drafted as QB19 this year.
Dallas Cowboys WR George Pickens will play on his one-year tender offer after the deadline for a long-term contract for tagged players passed Wednesday, July 15.
Footballguys view: This was an expected conclusion after the Cowboys announced before the NFL draft in April that they did not plan to hold talks on a long-term contract with Pickens. The former Steeler has already signed his franchise tender, putting him under contract for the 2026 season. He said last month that he was prepared to play this season on that tag. Last year, his first season in Dallas, Pickens delivered the best year of his career, establishing career highs in catches (93), yards (1,429), and touchdowns (9). He's being drafted as WR10.
Free-agent WR Keenan Allen (Chargers) does not appear to be a target for the Washington Commanders, according to ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler.
Footballguys view: According to Fowler, the Commanders are looking for a speed guy. Allen is more of a slot guy. That's not really what Washington needs. The Commanders can play rookie Antonio Williams in the slot, as well as Luke McCaffrey. General manager Adam Peters doesn't need to rush to make a decision. But Stefon Diggs, the top candidate for the Commanders, could land with a new team before training camp. Another option is Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte. He's reportedly available after New England's offseason additions of A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs.
Keenan Allen player page
Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter said he added muscle during the offseason but would not specify how much bigger he is entering training camp.
Footballguys view: Pictures from the Jaguars' media circulated yesterday showing Hunter looking noticeably larger than last year, and many social media accounts were quick to point out the difference. Hunter, who many knocked for his slight frame coming into the league, confirmed what our eyes showed us. After a season-ending LCL injury, bulking up could help his long-term durability. Just as it was last offseason, the conversation around Hunter is focused on his projected role, where fantasy managers aren't sure how much he'll play on offense. He's falling deep into drafts, going off the board as the WR62. He might be frustrating in managed leagues, but his play-making ability and big-play upside make him a tantalizing late pick in best ball drafts.
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara is working with the Saints to agree on a new contract.
Footballguys view: Kamara has been very blunt about his desire to remain a Saint. When trade rumors started swirling around the deadline last year, Kamara joked publicly by saying, "Then I'm going to go drink a piña colada somewhere," alluding to a retirement. The Saints spent big on Travis Etienne Jr. in free agency this offseason, and he's expected to be the lead back. Kamara is entering his age-31 season, but still looked like he had some juice in the tank last year before injuries ended his season. At worst, Kamara could have some stand-alone value as a pass-catching specialist. At best, his contingent upside in the event of an Etienne injury could make him one of this year's best picks. He's currently being drafted as the RB49, a very cheap cost for a former superstar approaching the twilight of his career.

Buffalo Bills WR Skyler Bell has a chance to move in front of WR Joshua Palmer and WR Keon Coleman on the depth chart if he has a strong preseason, in the opinion of BillsWire's Justin DiLoro.
Footballguys view: It's easy to speculate about Day 3 rookies climbing the depth chart during the slow part of the offseason. More often than not, however, those hype trains derail once camp opens. Bell is a good receiver, cut from the same cloth as DJ Moore and Khalil Shakir. He's a dynamic mover who is aggressive at the catch point and with the ball in his hands. Coleman and Palmer have both been disappointing in Buffalo, which could make Bell worth a look in deep leagues. He's a name to know and watch in training camp, but there are probably better bets to make in the final rounds of fantasy drafts until he starts getting legitimate buzz when pads are on.
Houston Texans fourth-round draft choice OG Febechi Nwaiwu signed a four-year contract with the Texans Wednesday, July 15, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Link to storyKansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) still has the 'goal' of playing in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.
Footballguys view: Reports about Mahomes' recovery have been positive all offseason, and he was practicing at OTAs, albeit in a bulky knee brace. He's been renowned for his conditioning since coming into the league, so it makes sense that he's ahead of schedule. For fantasy purposes, the big question is how this recovery could impact his rushing. He rushed for a career-best 30.1 yards per game last year, contributing to his per-game QB2 fantasy finish. The supporting cast around him is arguably the worst of his career, and limited rushing could cap his floor and ceiling. Mahomes is being drafted as QB14 right now, a fair cost given his wide range of outcomes.

Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman is well aware that he's been the subject of much criticism from fans and the media. Coleman was even the subject of some offseason debate about whether ex-coach Sean McDermott deserved blame for wanting to draft him. But Coleman says the criticism doesn't matter to him, because it doesn't come from anyone who's on the field with him. "None of them is going to come lace them up and try to stand in front of me," Coleman said. "People are going to say what they want to say. At the end of the day, my job is to come out here, put my cleats on, strap them up, and prove my worth here."
Footballguys view: As Profootballtalk.com notes, through two seasons, Coleman's production -- 67 catches for 960 yards and eight touchdowns -- hasn't been what the Bills were hoping for when they selected him with the 33rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Coleman sees that changing this year. Fantasy investors aren't as sure. Coleman's current ADP, WR89, has him going outside Round 20.
Keon Coleman player page
Miami Dolphins WR Jalen Tolbert is emerging as the top target of QB Malik Willis heading into training camp, according to the Sun Sentinel's David Furones.
Footballguys view: Tolbert brings a specialized skill that has caught our attention in the past. Most notably, a breakout 2024 season, when he caught 49 passes for 610 yards and seven touchdowns for the Cowboys. All seven of his receiving touchdowns came in the red zone, tied for the fifth-most among wide receivers that season. As Athlon's Doug Farrar suggested, Tolbert may have been a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver on other rosters, but opportunity knocks in Miami. That's why the reported connection with Willis is worth noting. So is the fact that Tolbert is being drafted as WR99.
Tennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears 'has a chance to have a bigger role as a runner' in 2026, according to Jim Wyatt.
Footballguys view: As Wyatt noted, Spears was a standout last offseason, but an ankle injury in the preseason opener halted his momentum and forced him to start the season on Injured Reserve. Spears flashed during the season, but his impact wasn't as big as observers expected. Heading into 2026, Spears has once again impressed this offseason. In new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll's offense, Wyatt believes Spears could be more prominent as a runner, and in the passing game, working behind Tony Pollard.

Updating previous reports, New York Jets QB Geno Smith won't be charged from a June 21 incident in which a woman claimed domestic violence. The woman, a longtime friend and casual intimate parter of Smith's who provides paid childcare for his son in her multifaceted role as his 'manager,' did not show up to two appointments to provide a sworn statement to police and later had her attorney inform officers that she would not be providing one.
Footballguys view: Since the incident, Smith received two unrelated traffic citations during a stop on July 6 in Florida: speeding (70 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone) and driving without carrying a license. Smith, who was reacquired in the offseason to start his first games for the Jets since 2016, is due to report for training camp on July 28. It's fair to believe he'll be an upgrade at the position after the Jets worked their way through Justin Fields, Tyrod Taylor, and Brady Cook last year.
Geno Smith player page
New head coach Mike McCarthy isn't counting out 2024 third-round WR Roman Wilson, who played just one game as a rookie and had 12 catches in 13 appearances last season. McCarthy said that he liked how Wilson approached the offseason. "He's been here from Day 1," McCarthy said. "He was one of the first men to reach out and clearly ask what the expectation was of him, how I view him, how I saw him fitting in as the roles X, F, and Z. He's doing the work. He's had a great offseason."
Footballguys view: DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. are going to be the top wideouts to kick off the season in Pittsburgh, but Wilson could find his way into a bigger role if his offseason work continues into training camp and leads to a strong bond with Aaron Rodgers. That said, rookie Germie Bernard was taken in the second round of April's draft and is drawing more interest in fantasy drafts than Wilson. Neither Wilson nor Bernard, however, are viewed as viable redraft options.
Roman Wilson player page
Free-agent C Ethan Pocic (Achilles), who was a starter for the Cleveland Browns before tearing his Achilles in December, received clearance by Dr. Norman Waldrop to participate in training camp. A source said he's a full go.
Footballguys view: Pocic is a free agent after spending the last four seasons with Cleveland. A second-round pick in 2017, Pocic played his first five seasons with the Seahawks, appearing in 57 games with 40 starts. He signed with the Browns as a free agent in 2022, starting 57 games for the club.
Houston Texans OT Braden Smith (neck) is on track for training camp after surgery to repair a neck injury in the offseason.
Footballguys view: The Texans signed Smith, previously with the Colts, to a two-year, $25 million deal. Smith is tracking toward a full recovery for training camp after being limited during the spring. Assuming he's fully healthy, he's the likely starter at right tackle in Houston.
Former New York Jets WR Quentin Skinner was claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday, July 14. The Bills also terminated the contract of WR Deven Thompkins.
Link to storyDallas Cowboys DE Charles Snowden has been suspended for the first three games of the 2026 NFL season, but is eligible to participate in all preseason activities, including games. His suspension will take effect as of the roster reduction to 53 players, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday, July 14.
Footballguys view: Last season, Snowden posted a career high in sacks with three for the Raiders in 15 games played. Snowden played in 15 games for Las Vegas, adding 28 tackles, five tackles for loss, and his first career interception. Heading into his fifth season in the NFL, Snowden is tied with James Houston and Sam Williams as the second-most experienced pass rusher on the Cowboys' roster. The Cowboys will manage without him during the suspension.

Denver Broncos RB Jonah Coleman reportedly looked ready for instant snaps in OTAs and minicamp this summer, and could spell J.K. Dobbins for short-yardage touches in the early going and pick up plenty of slack if anyone in the room misses time, in the opinion of The Denver Post's Luca Evans on Tuesday, July 14.
Footballguys view: It wouldn't be a surprise if the hard-nosed, decisive Coleman, who runs with urgency between the tackles, earns a contributing role. But from a fantasy perspective, the rookie opens the year as insurance for the oft-injured J.K. Dobbins after RJ Harvey came up short as a runner when Dobbins went down last year. But Coleman will be a fantasy afterthought if Dobbins remains in the locked and upright position all season long. The rookie's RB50 ADP reflects that likelihood.

Denver Broncos RB Tyler Badie and RB Jaleel McLaughlin are battling for one spot on the team's depth chart, according to the Denver Post's Luca Evans.
Footballguys view: Denver generally keeps four running backs on their active roster. With J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey, and rookie Jonah Coleman all but certain to be at the top of the depth chart, Badie and McLaughlin will be battling for that final opening. The winner of that competition will only be fantasy relevant if there are injuries ahead of him.
New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart could be used to carry the ball in both RPOs and designed quarterback runs, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Footballguys view: While we might not see as many designed runs as last year, we'll see Dart run. Harbaugh said that he sees a chance to do "a lot of the stuff that we did in Baltimore with Lamar [Jackson]," in terms of attacking defenses in multiple ways. A concussion kept Dart out of two games, and concussion checks forced him out of parts of other contests. Still, Harbaugh downplayed concerns by again citing Jackson. "You say something like that to Lamar, and he kinda just looks at you like you've got three heads," Harbaugh said. Dart likely feels the same.
New York Jets QB Geno Smith was previously accused of assault, and the case is now considered 'inactive,' according to the Davie (FL) Police Department.
Footballguys view: While the Davie Police report concludes no further investigative steps can be reasonably taken with the information presently available, Smith is still in the news. The New York Post obtained body-cam footage from police in Florida who pulled Smith over for a third time due to speeding violations. For the second time in a matter of weeks, he failed to produce a license inside the vehicle. The NFL won't suspend a quarterback for speeding unless it leads to harm to civilians. But the Jets have a very clear issue to deal with when camp opens in two weeks.

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk is expected to stay with the team and not be traded to the Washington Commanders 'at this stage,' according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Footballguys view: For months, we've been hearing about the Commanders making a move to land a receiver to complement Terry McLaurin. Aiyuk has been the player most frequently mentioned. Aiyuk's college quarterback at Arizona State was Daniels, but that connection won't spur a reunion. While Aiyuk is likely out of the picture, the Commanders may still be able to upgrade their receiving corps before training camp kicks off. One name who's still out there is Stefon Diggs, and he's coming off his seventh 1,000-yard season in the past eight years.
