Bills | James Cooks Delivers Two Touchdowns, But Not Much Else    Sun Nov 17, 09:33 PM

James Cook rushed for two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-21 win over the Chiefs.

Footballguys view: The touchdowns mattered for fantasy investors because Buffalo could not get anything going on the ground. The Bills rushed 13 times for 22 yards on first down and an average of 1.7 yards per play. Cook ran for 20 yards on nine carries (averaging 2.2 yards). The running backs as a group finished with just 49 yards on 19 carries (averaging 2.6 yards). They'll have to find ways to avoid becoming one-dimensional, especially in these back-and-forth games. Buffalo has a Week 12 bye before they return to host the 49ers in Week 13.

Bills | Josh Allen Dominates Chiefs Despite Sore Throwing Hand    Sun Nov 17, 09:33 PM

Josh Allen played through a sore throwing hand, which was examined on the sideline during Sunday's 30-21 win over the Chiefs. He finished 27 of 40 for 262 yards with two touchdowns (one passing and one rushing) and an interception.

Footballguys view: Allen made his case for being a front-runner in the MVP race with his 26-yard touchdown run on fourth-and-2 that practically killed any chance the Chiefs had to win the game. He weaved his way past defenders to get to the end zone, which was the second-longest scramble touchdown in his career. The rushing touchdown was the 58th of Allen's career, moving him into second on the Bills list, one ahead of O.J. Simpson, and seven behind Thurman Thomas. Allen's two-touchdown outing also increased his total to 244, tying Jim Kelly for first in team history. The Bills have a Week 12 bye to get healthy before returning to host San Francisco in Week 13.

Bills | Optimistic about WR Cooper in Week 11    Sat Nov 16, 03:57 PM

Ian Rapoport, from NFL Network, reports Buffalo Bills HC Sean McDermott is 'optimistic' about the availability of WR Amari Cooper in Week 11.

Footballguys view: Cooper has not done much during his brief time with the Bills. Playing with this wrist injury could ding his production just a bit. If Cooper plays in Week 11 against the Chiefs, Fantasy GMs should consider him a WR3/flex play.

Bills | Keon Coleman officially ruled out    Fri Nov 15, 03:27 PM

Buffalo Bills WR Keon Coleman (wrist) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 15, and has been ruled out for Week 11.

Footballguys view: No surprise here. While there's been no clear timetable given for Coleman's return from the wrist injury he suffered against the Dolphins two weeks ago, his next opportunity to play will be Week 13, following Buffalo's Week 12 bye. In nine games this season, Coleman has caught 22 of 36 targets for 417 yards and three TDs. We'll continue to watch for more.

Bills | Amari Cooper questionable    Fri Nov 15, 11:51 AM

Buffalo Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) is limited in practice Friday, Nov. 15, and he is questionable for Week 11.

Footballguys view: Cooper, 30, has missed the team's last two games since injuring his wrist in Buffalo's 31-10 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 27. The five-time Pro Bowl wideout has 29 catches for 319 yards and three touchdowns in eight games (seven starts) split between the Cleveland Browns and Bills this season. With WR Keon Coleman (wrist) and TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) ruled out this week, Cooper could be asked to handle a significant workload against the Chiefs if he's available Sunday. If he does play, Cooper would wear a cast he has been using in practice. The wideout said he doesn't feel pain while catching a pass, but he just got used to wearing the cast.

Bills | Dalton Kincaid ruled out    Fri Nov 15, 11:50 AM

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) has been ruled out for Week 11.

Footballguys view: Kincaid sustained his knee injury in Buffalo's 30-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday. Dawson Knox and Quintin Morris will see additional playing time in place of Kincaid, who has recorded 34 catches for 356 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games (seven starts) this season. Kincaid, 25, has 107 receptions for 1,029 yards and four TDs in 26 career games since being selected by the Bills with the 23rd overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. With a Week 12 bye coming, Kincaid will have two weeks before the Bills hit the field against the 49ers in Week 13.

Buffalo Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) feels his recovery is 'heading in the right direction' to play in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs following a limited practice on Thursday, Nov. 14.

Footballguys view: Cooper hasn't done much with the Bills, but he needs to get healthy before we expect too much. If he does get out there against the Chiefs, we like him as a 'what the heck' flex.

Bills | Dalton Kincaid a no-go again on Thursday    Thu Nov 14, 01:25 PM

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) did not practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Nov. 14.

Footballguys view: The Bills have a bye in Week 12, so they could shut down Kincaid for the game against the Chiefs in Week 11. That means Dawson Knox should be in line for more work. Knox is a 'what the heck' tight end for Sunday's game.

Bills | Amari Cooper improving    Tue Nov 12, 12:23 AM

Buffalo Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) is making progress in his recovery from a wrist injury, but his status for Week 11 is uncertain.

Footballguys view: Head coach Sean McDermott said Cooper was "improving," but he also said that before the Bills defeated the Colts 30-20 on Sunday with the recently-acquired wideout inactive. "I think some of it's pain, pain tolerance and threshold," he said of Cooper's situation. "So we'll just see." With Keon Cooper (wrist) ruled out and Dalton Kincaid's (knee) availability unclear, Cooper's status is going to be critical because running out players like Tyrell Shavers and Jalen Virgil in the receiving corps will not be ideal against the undefeated Super Bowl champion Chiefs in Week 11.

Bills | Dalton Kincaid's Week 11 Status Uncertain    Mon Nov 11, 11:01 AM

Dalton Kincaid sustained a left knee injury during the Buffalo Bills' 30-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in Indianapolis. He totaled two catches for 24 yards and briefly returned to the game but exited for a second time in the second half. Kincaid, who wore a brace on the knee, told reporters that he didn't feel he could run and protect himself.

Footballguys view: Kincaid was hurt late in the first quarter when Josh Allen missed him on a deep pass in the red zone, with Kincaid falling hard on his left knee after jumping for the ball. Kincaid entered Sunday's victory as Allen's most heavily targeted pass-catcher on the season, so an extended absence would be an issue, especially considering that the Bills' top two wide receivers are currently sidelined with their own injuries. Five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper has missed the last two games after injuring his wrist in Week 8, while rookie Keon Coleman is expected to miss the next several weeks after picking up a wrist ailment in Week 9. The Bills play the Chiefs in Week 11. Dawson Knox would play a greater role if Kincaid is out.

Bills | Dalton Kincaid disappoints in Week 10    Sun Nov 10, 06:02 PM

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid ended up with two receptions for 24 yards on five targets in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Footballguys view: Kincaid left with a knee injury and unsure if he'll be play to play in Week 11 against the Chiefs. He tried to play with a knee brace after suffering the injury, but it didn't go well and he left again. This could be a multi-week injury, but the Bills do have a bye in Week 12. Don't expect Kincaid to play next week.
