As we race toward August, Footballguys.com will look at one team per day with our quick-hitting Team Vibes and Players to Target and Avoid, where we check out the overall mood of each team's offense and let you know the players we are in on (because they are great values at the cost it takes to acquire them) and who we're out on (because they are too expensive and won't give you a good return on that investment).

Rams, Team Vibes
- Good - 3
- Neutral - 5
- Bad - 7
Staffers with Good Vibes
- Phil Alexander: Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp are presumably healthy.
- Daniel Harms: McVay, with a healthy Kupp and Stafford, will score points along with a poor defense forcing them to throw late in games.
- Ben Cummins: Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay are a great combination for fantasy production.
Staffers with Neutral Vibes
- Chad Parsons: Trust the Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp connection, but Stafford's health is shaky, as well as the rest of the roster.
- Zareh Kantzabedian: News recently broke that the Rams aggressively tried to trade Matthew Stafford. This news doesn’t exude confidence for the Rams’ QB position.
- Ryan Weisse: They were so bad in 2022 but so good in 2021. Which will get in 2023? Probably somewhere in the middle, assuming Stafford is healthy.
- Jeff Haseley: This isn't exactly the Super Bowl-winning Rams team, but they do still have some worthwhile pieces that can compete. Consistency may be a factor.
- Sam Wagman: People are treating this team like they didn't go to the Super Bowl two years ago. They could contend sneakily.
Staffers with Bad Vibes
- Jason Wood: The Rams nearly lost Coach McVay in the offseason, but he returned to oversee a complete rebuild. There are over 40 rookies on the 90-man roster, and the once-vaunted defense looks to be at or near the league bottom.
- Jeff Tefertiller: This is a team that will rebuild soon. Already seeing reports that Stafford may be traded.
- Andy Hicks: The price for winning the Super Bowl comes now. Sean McVay was smart to buy time by announcing an intention to walk away, then come back.
- Dan Hindery: The Rams look poised for another year of struggle, followed potentially by a full rebuild.
- Christian Williams: The offense lacks the talent necessary to compete in their division.
- Jeff Bell: Entirely dependent on the health of Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, who could be traded if they prove healthy.
- Joey Wright: If trade rumors could be a mascot, the Los Angeles Rams could make the change. No team's first-week roster feels less stable heading into the season.
