Buccaneers | Mike Evans back on the field    Fri Dec 26, 03:33 PM

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 26, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Footballguys view: Evans was afforded a rest day, but there's no expectation that he won't be a full go against the Dolphins. The veteran receiver has caught five-plus balls in each of his two games since returning from a broken collarbone. He's a high-end WR2 this week.

Dolphins | Jaylen Waddle set to play    Fri Dec 26, 03:29 PM

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (wrist) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 26, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Footballguys view: Waddle has practiced in full all week despite being on the injury report. Even with a frustrating quarterback situation, Waddle is a high-end WR2 in Week 17.

Saints | Chris Olave questionable for Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 03:09 PM

New Orleans WR Chris Olave (back) is questionable for Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans in Week 17.

Footballguys view: It sounds like Olave's limited practice was precautionary, and we expect him to play. Olave has played through this back injury for the last few weeks. Still, he's having a career season and warrants usage as a WR1 in fantasy.

Bears | Luther Burden on track to play    Fri Dec 26, 02:45 PM

Chicago Bears WR Luther Burden III (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 26, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Footballguys view: The last time Burden played without Rome Odunze, he caught six balls for 84 yards. With Odunze out again, Burden sneaks into WR3 territory. While the floor is a bit shaky in a Chicago offense that spreads that ball around, Burden's big-play ability provides him with intriguing upside.

Bears | Week 17 injury report for Chicago    Fri Dec 26, 02:41 PM

Chicago Bears DB Nick McCloud (illness) and WR Rome Odunze (foot) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 17 against the San Francisco 49ers. DB Josh Blackwell (illness) and DB Nashon Wright (hamstring, illness) did not practice on Friday, Dec. 26, and are listed as questionable. LB T.J. Edwards (glute) was limited in practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. DB C.J. Gardner-Johnson (knee) and OL Luke Newman (foot) practiced in full on Friday. WR Luther Burden III (ankle), DB Kevin Byard III (ankle), OL Drew Dalman (ankle, hand), WR Devin Duvernay (illness), RB Travis Homer (ankle), LB D'Marco Jackson (illness), LB Amen Ogbongbemiga (hamstring), and OL Joe Thuney (rest) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Bears | Rome Odunze to miss Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 02:38 PM

Chicago Bears WR Rome Odunze (foot) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 26, and has been ruled out for Week 17.

Footballguys view: This will be Odunze's fourth consecutive game missed due to his foot injury. The Bears have already clinched a playoff spot and want Odunze healthy for a postseason run. He hopes to return next week, but the team has been tight-lipped since he reinjured himself in pregame warmups last week.

Bills | Dawson Knox up in the air to play Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 02:37 PM

Buffalo Bills TE Dawson Knox (knee) was limited in practice on Friday, Dec. 26, and is questionable for Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Footballguys view: Knox has been a fantasy TE1 in two of the last three weeks, but it's hard to project that every week. Especially with Dalton Kincaid questionable, Knox is far down in the streaming pool this week.

Bills | Dalton Kincaid questionable for Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 02:32 PM

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) was limited in practice on Friday, Dec. 26, and is listed as questionable for Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Footballguys view: Kincaid missed the first two practices this week, but it's promising that he returned to the field on Friday. Given potential limitations, it would be hard to trust him in any Week 17 lineups. He's a desperation streamer against the Eagles.

Bills | Week 17 injury report for Bills    Fri Dec 26, 02:18 PM

Buffalo Bills DT DaQuan Jones (calf), DT Jordan Phillips (ankle), S Jordan Poyer (hamstring) and PK Matt Prater (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 26, and have been ruled out for Week 17. TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) and TE Dawson Knox (knee) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. QB Josh Allen (foot), S Cole Bishop (ribs), DE Joey Bosa (hamstring), RB Ray Davis (knee), CB Taron Johnson (quadriceps), CB Cam Lewis (hamstring) and LB Shaq Thompson (neck) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Patriots | Mack Hollins will not be available    Fri Dec 26, 02:16 PM

New England Patriots WR Mack Hollins (abdomen) has been ruled out of the Week 17 game.

Footballguys view: Hollins production has been sporadic this year, but he's been a team leader. With him out, rookie Kyle Williams could see an expanded role as the team's downfield threat. He should only be started by desperate managers in deep leagues, but there's potential for a big play from Williams.

Patriots | Kayshon Boutte ruled out for Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 01:57 PM

New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 17 by head coach Mike Vrabel.

Footballguys view: The Patriots will be down Mack Hollins and Boutte this week. Kyle Williams stands to be the biggest beneficiary, but he's a highly volatile player who will likely make or break his day on a single play.

Browns | David Njoku ruled out for Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 01:53 PM

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (knee) has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Footballguys view: Njoku has battled this knee injury seemingly all season, missing some games and exiting others early. Harold Fannin has pushed Njoku out of the tier of fantasy-relevant receivers this season. With Njoku out, even more volume should be pushed Fannin's way.

Browns | Dylan Sampson's status is questionable for Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 01:42 PM

Cleveland Browns RB Dylan Sampson (hand) is questionable for Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Footballguys view: With Quinshon Judkins and Jerome Ford both on IR, Sampson could end up with a significant workload if active. Sampson should be rostered in all fantasy formats. Even if you don't need him in your lineup, it could be advantageous to block your opponent from starting him.

Browns | Harold Fannin Jr. questionable for Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 01:38 PM

Cleveland Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. (groin) is questionable for Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Footballguys view: All signs point to Fannin being active this week despite a limited practice on Friday. Assuming he's out there, start him as an elite TE1. Luckily for fantasy managers, the Browns play early on Sunday. If, for whatever reason, Fannin can't go, there will be no shortage of streamers to choose from. Fannin's managers should pick up their favorite ahead of time, just in case.

Dolphins | Darren Waller expected to play    Fri Dec 26, 01:29 PM

Miami Dolphins TE Darren Waller (rest, groin) is expected to play in Week 17 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to head coach Mike McDaniel.

Footballguys view: Waller has had plenty of rest days since returning from retirement to join the Dolphins this offseason. He's in the streaming discussion this week against Tampa Bay.

Panthers | Tetairoa McMillan good to go for Week 17    Fri Dec 26, 01:07 PM

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan (rest) will play in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Dave Canales.

Footballguys view: There was no concern that McMillan wouldn't be ready for this game after a mid-week rest day. Get him in your lineup as a WR2 against the Seahawks.

Patriots | TreVeyon Henderson sheds non-contact jersey    Fri Dec 26, 12:46 PM

New England Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (concussion) was without a non-contact jersey in practice Friday, Dec. 26.

Footballguys view: Assuming Henderson logs a full practice on Friday, he'll likely play Sunday. He exited last week's game with a concussion but would fall into RB2 consideration if active. The Patriots close out the season with two divisional matchups, the Jets this week and the Dolphins in Week 18. Both struggle against the run, giving Henderson tremendous upside.

  49ers | George Kittle a game-time call    Fri Dec 26, 12:24 PM

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ankle) will be a game-time decision for the Week 17 game against the Chicago Bears.

Footballguys view: With a Sunday night kickoff, fantasy managers without a formidable TE2 should pick up Jake Tonges, Colston Loveland, or Colby Parkinson as potential pivot options in case Kittle can't go. The 49ers are fighting for the NFC's top seed, so they'd like to have Kittle available. Fantasy managers with a strong TE2 playing earlier may prefer to take the guaranteed points rather than waiting until Sunday night.

Bills | Josh Allen will play    Fri Dec 26, 12:08 PM

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen (foot) has improved each day, according to head coach Sean McDermott, and Allen will play in Week 17.

Footballguys view: Sean McDermott said that the soreness in Allen's foot "has dissipated," and he will play. Allen briefly exited last week's game for X-rays but returned and finished. His fantasy production was poor against a strong Cleveland defense. He'll face another tough matchup against the Eagles this week, but his upside makes him a must-start regardless of opponent or health.

Jets | Mason Taylor ruled out    Fri Dec 26, 11:33 AM

New York Jets TE Mason Taylor (neck) is out for Week 17.

Footballguys view: Taylor showed some promising flashes early in his rookie season, but injuries kept him from closing out the year strong. He's still just 21 years old. While his impact in season-long fantasy leagues was disappointing, he has a profile worth betting on in dynasty formats.
