Browns | Raheim Sanders accounts for 31 yards Sun Dec 28, 04:32 PM
Cleveland Browns RB Raheim Sanders carried eight times for 21 yards in a Week 17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He caught one pass for 10 yards.
Link to storyNew England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson rushed eight times for 47 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the New York Jets, and he added five receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown on five targets.
Footballguys view: Stevenson has been the Patriots running back who adds value at times as a receiver instead of rookie TreVeyon Henderson as the drafting of his potential replacement seemed to light a fire under the veteran. He wasn't consistently making a fantasy impact this season, but if you trusted him in a great Week 17 matchup, you were very happy with what you got today.

Cleveland Browns RB Dylan Sampson carried 11 times for 27 yards in a Week 17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He caught three passes for zero yards.
Link to storyNew England Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson rushed 19 times for 82 yards in Week 17 against the New York Jets, while he was not targeted in the passing game.
Footballguys view: Rhamondre Stevenson got the two running back scores as the passing game involvement we expected hasn't really materialized. He still has shown home run speed and should only get better in an offense that has moved into the penthouse of quality and fantasy value. Henderson rallied to play after suffering a concussion last Saturday and while he didn't produce fantasy fireworks, he showed he can log a heavy workload in the bread and butter running game.
New England Patriots LB Jahlani Tavai posted six total stops, including four of the solo variety, while adding two tackles for loss in the Week 17 against the New York Jets.

New England Patriots S Dell Pettus registered six total stops with four solo tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss and one quarterback hit in Week 17 against the New York Jets.
Link to storyCleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders completed 17 of 23 passes for 186 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in a Week 17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Footballguys view: Sanders numbers aren't impressive in fantasy terms, but he lost Harold Fannin early on and didn't get much help from the running game. He looks like he belongs in the NFL with an approach as a passer that engages defenses with a quick processor and courage. He should be the team's starting quarterback Week 1, but Cleveland will have a top 8 pick and could decide to take a quarterback.
New York Jets DT Payton Page had five solo stops and a tackle for loss in Week 17 against the New England Patriots.
Link to storyNew York Jets CB Qwan'Tez Stiggers went for a game-high 10 total stops, including six of the solo variety, with one tackle for loss in Week 17 against the New England Patriots.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals WR Michael Wilson caught five passes for 89 yards and one touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He was targeted 10 times during the game.
Footballguys view: Wilson scored a long touchdown in the first half when the Bengals secondary turned into tackling dummies instead of wrapping him up. Otherwise, it was a futile afternoon for the Cardinals offense even though they were facing one of the worst defenses in the league.

New York Jets WR Tyler Johnson, S Malachi Moore, TE Jeremy Ruckert, WR Arian Smith and TE Jelani Woods each had one catch in the Week 17 game against the New England Patriots. Ruckert had a 2-yard grab on three targets, Johnson and Moore had 3-yard catches, while Woods had a 4-yard reception and Smith had a 5-yard snag.

New York Jets TE Stone Smartt had two receptions for 18 yards in Week 17 against the New England Patriots.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals RB Emari Demercado rushed for 11 yards on five carries against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He also caught two passes for nine yards during the game.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed for 29 yards on seven carries against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He also caught two passes for 14 yards during the game.
Footballguys view: Carter fizzled in a good matchup as the Cardinals failed to get a first down on five of their first seven drives. The Cardinals backfield was a disaster this season because of season-ending injuries to James Conner and Trey Benson before the leaves started changing colors.

New York Jets WR Adonai Mitchell registered three receptions for 22 yards on a game-high nine targets in Week 17 against the New England Patriots.
Link to storyNew York Jets WR Isaiah Williams had four receptions for 30 yards on five targets in Week 17 against the New England Patriots, and he added a 5-yard run on his only attempt.
Link to storyNew York Jets WR John Metchie III had three receptions for a team-high 41 yards on three targets in Week 17 against the New England Patriots.
Link to storyNew York Jets RB Khalil Herbert rushed twice for five yards in Week 17 against the New England Patriots, and he did not have a reception on his lone target.

New York Jets RB Isaiah Davis rushed three times for 11 yards in Week 16 against the New England Patriots, and he added a 9-yard reception on his lone target.
Footballguys view: Davis exited the contest after suffering a blow to the head, and the Jets subsequently ruled him out due to a concussion. With Davis now in concussion protocol, his season may have come to an end with just one game remaining.
New York Jets RB/KR Kene Nwangwu rushed six times for 31 yards in Week 17 against the New England Patriots, while also adding four kick returns for 114 yards.

New York Jets QB Brady Cook completed 19-of-33 passes for 152 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 17 against the New England Patriots, while running twice for one yard.
Link to storyNew York Jets RB Breece Hall rushed 14 times for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 game against the New England Patriots, while adding two receptions for 18 yards on three targets before leaving the game late due to a knee injury.
Footballguys view: We'll follow up on the injury as details come to light, but Hall is just as good as the fantasy community thought he was when the debate at the top of the running back position was Hall vs. Christian McCaffrey. He'll go to free agency next season with the possibility of a Saquon Barkley-esque leap in fantasy value if he lands in a good offense that is committed to featuring him.
New York Jets OG John Simpson (knee) suffered a knee injury in the Week 17 game against the New England Patriots.
Link to storyArizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett went 21-for-37 for 212 yards and two touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17.
Footballguys view: Brissett and the Cardinals offense was almost completely lifeless until garbage time. He had five three and outs, another drive that amounted to one yard, and a long touchdown when the Bengals decided to not tackle Michael Wilson before the Bengals defense went into prevent mode and Brissett bailed out fantasy teams that were relying on him. There's a chance that he is the Week 1 starting quarterback for the Cardinals, and potentially with a new head coach.

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye completed 19-of-21 passes for 256 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 17 against the New York Jets, as QB Joshua Dobbs mopped up. He also ran for 22 yards on three carries. Maye is the first Patriots QB to have five touchdown passes in a game since QB Tom Brady in 2017.
Footballguys view: Maye is the first quarterback in NFL history to complete 90+% of his passes in a game while throwing for over 250 yards and five touchdowns. This is a statement about where Maye is in his career as much as it is a statement about where the Jets defense is right now. Maye has graduated to elite fantasy quarterback status. He'll be going all out along with the rest of the Patriots offense against Miami with the #1 seed on the line if the Chargers (who are only playing for wild card seeding) can beat the Broncos.

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. (groin) aggravated his groin injury in the first half of the Week 17 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he will not return. He had two receptions for 30 yards and a TD on two targets before departing.
Footballguys view: Fannin at least gave fantasy teams a 28-yard touchdown on the play that ended his afternoon. He has been one of the biggest breakout players of the 2025 rookie class and Fannin might actually have a quarterback in Shedeur Sanders. Fannin should be one of the top 6-8 tight ends in fantasy drafts next season. He could end up being a rare tight end who is the #1 target in his team's passing game.
Carolina Panthers CB Robert Rochell (concussion) left the Week 17 game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a concussion.

Carolina Panthers TE Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) left the Week 17 game against the Seattle Seahawks after an ankle injury suffered on the first offensive play of the game.
Footballguys view: Per head coach Dave Canales, Sanders sustained a broken ankle. The second-year starter is set to undergo surgery tomorrow and will miss the remainder of the campaign. Sanders finishes his second season with 29 receptions for 190 yards and a touchdown.
The Las Vegas Raiders have declared WR Phillip Dorsett, RB Raheem Mostert, QB Aidan O'Connell, RB Chris Collier, SS Terrell Edmunds, WR Jack Bech and DL Brodric Martin inactive for Week 17.

Tennessee Titans WR Van Jefferson (forearm) suffered a forearm injury during the Week 17 game and has been ruled out.
Footballguys view: Interim coach Mike McCoy said after Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Saints that Jefferson is done for the season, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reported. Jefferson won't play in the Titans' season finale against the Jaguars next weekend. As CBSSports.com suggested, Mason Kinsey and James Proche move up in the rotation behind Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike.

Miami Dolphins LB Chop Robinson (head) left the Week 17 game and is being evaluated for a concussion. He is considered questionable to return.

Link to storyTampa Bay Buccaneers OG Mike Jordan (head) left the Week 17 game early and is being evaluated for a concussion.
Link to storySteelers tight end Darnell Washington sustained a broken arm in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Cleveland Browns, coach Mike Tomlin said. He added he doesn't know Washington's timeline to return.
Footballguys view: Washington exited late in the first quarter as the Steelers' leading receiver at that point with 15 yards on two catches on two targets. His longest catch went for 11 yards on third-and-16. Washington's absence was especially significant for an offense that also played without its top two wide receivers in DK Metcalf and Calvin Austin III (hamstring). Tight end Pat Freiermuth finished as the Steelers' leading receiver with 63 yards on three receptions in five targets.

Cleveland Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. (groin) scored a touchdown in the first quarter of the Week 17 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he aggravated the injury on the play, and he left the game. He is questionable to return.
Link to storyMiami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (rib) suffered a rib injury during the Week 17 game and is considered questionable to return.
Footballguys view: Waddle hadn't missed a game yet this season. This is a bad break for fantasy teams that relied on Waddle in Week 17 against a Bucs defense that has been fading. Quinn Ewers was productive against Tampa and Waddle would have likely been a good play today if he hadn't left the game in the first half. He returned late in the third quarter but finished the game with no catches and a seven-yard carry.

Cincinnati Bengals OT Amarius Mims (shin) left the Week 17 game against the Arizona Cardinals in the first half due to a right shin injury. He is listed as questionable to return.
