| Footballguys view: One of the more prominent storylines leading up to Sunday's games was QB Aaron Rodgers' quest for the 500th TD pass of his storied 20-year NFL career. A big part of that conversation was the prospect of Adams, one of Rodgers' favorite receivers in their days together in Green Bay, being the recipient. Adams, who had a single limited practice all week, seemed bothered by the hip injury that had him listed as questionable going into this game. Adams was held to fewer than 11 targets for only the second time in his last eight games, and his involvement could be lower than usual again in Week 18 against the Dolphins if the hip is still an issue. |

| Footballguys view: Hall was a bust as the Jets got blown out in this one and abandoned the running game in the second half. He showed toughness playing through a knee injury late in the season, but there's no sugarcoating that Hall was a major disappointment in fantasy with many expecting a career year that would put him atop the fantasy running back rankings. He won't be a first round pick next year, but won't fall too far from the first round ranks because of his demonstrated upside. |

Assuming he's available, there's no reason to believe Adams won't continue to get a dominant workload. Over the past four weeks, Adams has at least 11 targets in every game and a target share of 32.7 percent with Aaron Rodgers especially dialed in on him in the red zone and end zone. |

When asked whether he felt Jets owner Woody Johnson wanted him to return, Rodgers responded, 'You should ask Woody.' Rodgers went on to note he had not spoken with Johnson about his future, furthering speculation the 41-year-old will not return to the team.

Aaron Rodgers has not missed a start for the Jets this season despite dealing with several injuries, and the team doesn't expect him to miss this Sunday's game against the Bills, either. On Tuesday, Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said that Rodgers, dealing with a knee issue, is uncertain to play against the Bills as a result. However, Ulbrich added that he would bet on Rodgers being in the lineup.

| Footballguys view: Rodgers, at one point, left for the medical tent after a sack-fumble, but he was able to return to the game on the next drive. The veteran signal-caller started strong, as Rodgers connected with wide receiver Davante Adams to give the Jets their first and only TD in the first quarter. Rodgers was 15 of 20 for 149 yards and a touchdown in the first half, and two of those incompletions were bad Allen Lazard drops. But, as The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue noted, Rodgers cooled off in the second half, force-feeding Adams a little too much; the Jet's offense faltered, and they wound up losing another game they probably should've won. The Jets play the Bills in Buffalo on Sunday in Week 17. |
