Denver Broncos LB Alex Singleton (knee) said he is on track in his recovery from knee injury and believe he will be ready to play Week 1.
| Footballguys view: Singleton played 190 defensive snaps last season, with 49 coming after he tore an anterior cruciate ligament. Singleton injured his knee on the eighth play of the Week 3 win over the Buccaneers on Sept. 22. He didn't miss a snap in the game, but the injury did end the rest of his season. But Singleton, LB20 on the Footballguys Projections, has worked with the Broncos' vice president of player health and performance, Beau Lowery, every day since his surgery on Oct. 15. He posted a video to his Instagram of him running full speed. "Let's just say we're in a really good spot," Singleton said. "You get three more months. Three more. So we're good." |

You don't ever want to put pressure on a rookie like that, we're just talking about traits. But really explosive off the line of scrimmage, he's very competitive, very tough,' Payton said.
| Footballguys view: As USA Today suggests, that's quite a glowing endorsement, and a player who certainly sounds worthy of a third-round pick. Thomas was named the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year in 2019, and he earned two first-team All-Pro selections and three Pro Bowl nods with the New Orleans Saints. He twice led the NFL in receptions during his time in Payton's offense. Still, with Courtland Sutton already commanding the majority of targets and offseason additions Evan Engram and RJ Harvey in the mix, Bryant might have a hard time getting targets. |

Denver Broncos RB RJ Harvey 'figures to be the first option in the run game,' in the opinion of ESPN's Jeff Legwold, assuming he displays the same kind of speed he showed at Central Florida. Legwold adds that Harvey should see work on early downs right away and could see an expanded role if he shows consistency as a receiver.
| Footballguys view: The fifth running back off the board, Harvey handled 232 carries for 1,577 yards and 22 TDs in 2024 after posting 1,416 yards and 16 scores the year before. He joins Jaleel McLaughlin, Audric Estime, Tyler Badie, and Blake Watson at the running back position on the Broncos' roster. The Broncos view Harvey as a home-run hitter. As noted in the 2025 Footballguys Rookie Draft Guide 3.0, "Sean Payton offenses have typically featured a thunder-lightning approach. Think of Deuce McAllister and Mark Ingram II as the thunder. NBC Bay Area's Jennifer Lee Chan initially reported Greenlaw tore a quadriceps muscle and would miss a substantial portion of the season, but a source close to Greenlaw told Allbright the injury is only a strain and won't affect the linebacker's regular-season availability.

| Footballguys view: Thomas was a second-round pick of Payton's Saints in 2016, and he ended up with four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to begin his career. We're not projecting that for Byrant, but he's going to have an opportunity to win a spot opposite of WR Courtland Sutton. Aric DiLalla, from DenverBroncos.com, reports Denver Broncos GM George Paton believes second-round RB RJ Harvey can improve as a receiver. "His ability to get in and out [of his breaks], his ability to catch [stood out]. You can see he has instincts in the pass game. Man, he had a lot of big plays in the pass game. You just don't see all the routes, and you can see those at the pro day. And we think he can keep going [upward]." Paton said.
| Footballguys view: Broncos HC Sean Payton was looking for his 'joker' on offense - and elite receiver that plays running back or tight end. Harvey has great vision and balance as a runner, and his quickness is likely to make him a dangerous receiver out of the backfield. Harvey could become a fantasy darling in Payton's offense if he becomes the primary ball-carrier in 2025. He will compete with guys like Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin to establish a pecking order in Denver's backfield. |

Franklin will earn a fully guaranteed base salary of $1.17 million in 2025 and the contract also includes a $167,500 incentive for making the Super Bowl.
