Jets | Brock Bowers meeting with Jets    Mon Apr 15, 10:08 AM

Georgia TE Brock Bowers is visiting the New York Jets Monday, April 15.

Footballguys view: The Jets, who have the 10th pick overall, have multiple needs, but tight end has to be near the top of that list. Bowers is widely expected to be the first tight end off the board in next week's NFL Draft.

Colts | Indy may have interest in Brock Bowers    Sun Apr 14, 10:32 AM

The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly interested in Georgia TE Brock Bowers and could select him if he is still available with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. If Bowers is off the board by then, the Colts would likely make drafting a cornerback a top priority.

Footballguys view: The Colts have the no.15 overall pick, and by that time Bowers should be off the board. We could make the argument that he's the no.3 talent in this class regardless of position. Bowers is a weapon that can fly down the field and attack the vertical seam of a defense. The Colts have guys like Kylen Granson and Mo Alie-Cox, but Bowers would be a huge upgrade.

Broncos | Dallin Holker talks with Broncos    Fri Apr 12, 06:30 PM

Colorado State TE Dallin Holker had an official visit with the Denver Broncos earlier this week, according to a source.

Footballguys view: Holker is a late-round prospect with a nose for the end zone. He's not Trey McBride (a former CSU star), but Holker is a smoother-than-you-expect athlete who knows how to find the soft spot in a zone. We like him after the catch, and even though he's not a burner he can get by defenders who underestimate his athletic ability. The Broncos need a playmaking tight end, and if they wait until Day 3 of the draft Holker should be an option.

Dolphins | Miami looking at tight ends    Thu Apr 11, 10:50 PM

Texas Christian TE Jared Wiley, Kansas State TE Ben Sinnott and Texas TE Ja'Tavion Sanders are three players the Miami Dolphins could target in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, sources have told ESPN's Matt Miller.

Giants | Ben Sinnott meeting with NYG    Thu Apr 11, 04:03 PM

Kansas State TE Ben Sinnott is having an official visit with the New York Giants Thursday, April 11, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Footballguys view: Sinnott has some freakish athletic traits. At the NFL Combine, Sinnott scored the highest in three of the most important drills (3-cone, broad jump, vertical), and his explosiveness is evident on film. If Darren Waller retires, the Giants could be in line for a guy like Sinnott on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL draft.

Chargers | McCallan Castles spending time with LA Chargers    Thu Apr 11, 02:50 PM

University of Tennessee TE McCallan Castles is visiting with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, April 11.

Footballguys view: Castles is a late-round pick or priority free agent, but there's perhaps more receiving skill there than he showed on film at Tennessee. He's a huge target who knows how to box out defenders, making him an interesting red-zone option.

Panthers | Carolina gets to know Ben Sinnott    Thu Apr 11, 02:01 PM

Kansas State TE Ben Sinnott visited with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday, April 10.

Footballguys view: Sinnott has some freakish athletic traits. At the NFL Combine, Sinnott scored the highest in three of the most important drills (3-cone, broad jump, vertical), and his explosiveness is evident on film. The Panthers have Tommy Tremble at the top of the depth chart at the tight end position, but Sinnott could push him for snaps and targets as a rookie.

Chargers | LA Chargers meeting with Jared Wiley    Thu Apr 11, 01:28 PM

Texas Christian University TE Jared Wiley is visiting with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, April 11. Wiley has already met with the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys and is scheduled to do the same with the Washington Commanders next week.

Footballguys view: Wiley is one of our favorite TEs in this draft class. He's a big-bodied target who moves like a wide receiver. Bringing a basketball skill set to the football field, Wiley has the attention of NFL scouts. He could be a second or third-round pick who could have plenty of fantasy relevance.

NFL | Brock Bowers works out for teams    Thu Apr 11, 07:03 AM

Georgia TE Brock Bowers weighed in at 241 pounds at his workout for teams Wednesday, April 10, and moved around well during position drills. Giants tight ends coach Tim Kelly and New York Jets Ron Middleton were among the people present at the workout.

Footballguys view: Bowers is a smooth athlete who is too fast for linebackers to cover. He can run routes like a wide receiver, and Bowers is a threat near pay dirt. Bowers is likely to be a first-round pick, and he could go in the top-10. No matter where he goes, Bowers will be fantasy relevant in 2024.

Broncos | Denver checks out Brock Bowers    Thu Apr 11, 02:02 AM

Georgia TE Brock Bowers did positional and ran routes Wednesday, April 10, and Denver Broncos tight ends coach Declan Doyle was among the people in attendance.

Footballguys view: The second-biggest need for the Broncos is a playmaking tight end. Bowers checks all the boxes and regularly draws Travis Kelce comparisons. With the no.12 overall pick, Denver could pick Bowers if they're not able to move up for a quarterback in the 2024 NFL draft.

Browns | Cleveland will meet with Ja'Tavion Sanders    Tue Apr 9, 05:19 PM

Texas TE Ja'Tavion Sanders is scheduled to have an official visit with the Cleveland Browns in the near future, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Footballguys view: The Browns already have a front-line fantasy producer at the position in David Njoku. They have lost some depth this offseason, but Sanders is considered one of the top prospects at his position in this class. In other words, a clearer path to workload might be better for Sanders' fantasy fortunes.

Panthers | Ja'Tavion Sanders to visit    Tue Apr 9, 05:10 PM

Texas TE Ja'Tavion Sanders is scheduled to have an official visit with the Carolina Panthers in the next few days, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Footballguys view: The Panthers seem to have a perpetual hole at this position. Sanders, one of the top prospects at this position (not named Brock Bowers), would likely find opportunity in Carolina.

Giants | Clock ticking on Darren Waller's decision?    Mon Apr 8, 01:17 AM

Updating previous reports, New York Giants TE Darren Waller remains undecided as to whether he'll continue playing football, but the team may be running out of patience waiting for him to finalize his plans. 'I haven't made a decision yet,' Waller said during a recent interview with Forbes. 'It's just a matter of respecting the process. There's so much that goes into the process of going from April through February of an NFL season. The commitment that it requires. I'm a guy who's evolving, who's growing, who's played a lot of football and been through a lot. I'm at the point now where I'm like, 'OK, how much am I willing to give to the process,'' he added. 'If it's not 100%, it's a disservice to the teammates and the organization that I have. I'm still trying to make a decision on that and it's tough to make one or the other out of emotion.'

Footballguys view: Some would argue that Waller's lack of commitment at this point, suggests he's already decided the outcome. We'll continue to watch for more.
