Chiefs | Marquise Hollywood Brown Officially Activated Fri Dec 20, 05:13 PM
With Week 16's game against the Houston Texans on the horizon, the Kansas City Chiefs are making a much-anticipated move to bring back a key piece of their offense. After an extended absence stemming from a sternoclavicular injury suffered in the preseason, wide receiver Marquise Brown is back from the injured reserve list, per an announcement from the team.
Footballguys view: On Thursday morning, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported that Kansas City planned to activate Brown if the day's practice went well and there were no setbacks. Brown now takes the roster spot of running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who was waived earlier in the week and has since signed with the New Orleans Saints. Speaking to the media on Thursday afternoon, head coach Andy Reid acknowledged that there was a "good chance" Brown would play this weekend. That he will play for the Chiefs doesn't necessarily mean fantasy managers should be forcing him into lineups. A wait-and-see approach would be best. |

49ers | Isaac Guerendo Officially Ruled Out Fri Dec 20, 05:02 PM
49ers RB Isaac Guerendo has been ruled out due to the hamstring injury he sustained last week against the Los Angeles Rams.
Footballguys view: With Guerendo out, as expected, Patrick Taylor Jr. is expected to start against the Dolphins. While Ke'Shawn Vaughn and Israel Abanikanda could figure into the mix, Taylor has been on the roster all season and figures to get the bulk of the workload. He delivered 25 yards on seven carries with a score in San Francisco's Week 14 win against the Bears. |

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist, personal) was a limited participant in practice on Friday, Dec. 20, after practicing in full the day before and is questionable for Week 16.
Footballguys view: While Hill seems more likely to play than not, Jaylen Waddle (knee) and fellow wideout Dee Eskridge (knee) are doubtful. Thus, Malik Washington and River Cracraft are the only wideouts on the 53-player roster who aren't on the injury report. We'll follow up on Hill's status through game time, but a late-afternoon kickoff in San Francisco will limit your fallback options. |

Dolphins | Jaylen Waddle unlikely to play Fri Dec 20, 04:42 PM
Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (knee) did not take part in practice for the third straight day on Friday, Dec. 20, and is doubtful for Week 16.
Footballguys view: As previously noted, rookie Malike Washington moves into "what the heck flex" territory with Footballguy Matt Waldman advising readers that because Washington can break tackles, there's touchdown potential. "If you're desperate," Waldman added, "Washington could give you a reasonable floor of PPR value with a hint of high upside." |

Titans | Tony Pollard questionable for Week 16 Fri Dec 20, 04:39 PM
Tennessee Titans RB Tony Pollard (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Footballguys view: Fantasy managers will benefit from the Titans' early-afternoon kickoff on Sunday. We'll have Pollard's official game status in the 90 minutes leading up to game time. If Pollard can't go, or if reports suggest a limited role due to the issue, Tyjae Spears would get another opportunity to shine after putting up 27.2 points against the Bengals with Pollard limited last week. |

Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown (knee, rest) was limited at practice for the second consecutive day on Friday, Dec. 20, and was removed from the Week 16 injury report.
Footballguys view: Earlier on Friday, Brown foreshadowed this outcoming, telling reporters, "I'm playing," when asked about the knee injury that was added to Thursday's practice report. Brown was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. He has recorded 56 catches for 946 yards with five touchdowns. Health concerns would be the only argument for ever benching Brown, so this week, you have no reason to consider it. |

Link to storyJets | Questionable tag for Braelon Allen Fri Dec 20, 03:50 PM
New York Jets RB Braelon Allen (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 20, but is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Footballguys view: The full practice suggests Allen is more likely to be available than not. Still, with a three-man rotation led by Breece Hall and including Isiah Davis, it's fair to believe Allen's role is the most likely to be moderated. Last week, Hall had 28 snaps, Davis 24, and Allen had 10. A similar rotation against the Rams would not be surprising. |
Seahawks | Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker III, Zach Charbonnett, DK Metcalf Avoid Designation Fri Dec 20, 03:50 PM
The Seahawks will a nearly full contingent of skill players in the lineup against the Vikings on Sunday. QB Geno Smith (knee), RBs Zach Charbonnet (oblique) and Ken Walker III (calf), and WR DK Metcalf (shoulder) are all without injury designations.
Footballguys view: Smith injured his knee in last Sunday's loss to the Packers, but he was able to practice all of this week and he has no injury designation on the team's final injury report ahead of Week 16. Smith has not missed a start this season. Metcalf has struggled over the last month, but gets a favorable matchup this week. Meanwhile, the team's plans at running back will be front and center. Charbonnet has been dominant as the starter with Walker sidelined the last two weeks. It's fair to assume a spit is coming; we'll continue to watch for more on that as Sunday's kickoff draws nearer. |

Browns | Cedric Tillman listed as questionable Fri Dec 20, 03:41 PM
Cleveland Browns WR Cedric Tillman (concussion) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Footballguys view: Although Tillman remains in concussion protocol, The Athletic's Zac Jackson reports the Browns are hopeful he'll be able to play against the Bengals. Tillman has missed three games after suffering a concussion against the Steelers in Week 12. If cleared, Tillman's role and production could be limited with the Browns turning Dorian Thompson-Robinson as their starting quarterback. |
Browns | David Njoku's status in question Fri Dec 20, 03:35 PM
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Footballguys view: Njoku (hamstring) missed last week's loss to the Chiefs. "He's very motivated to play," head coach Kevin Stefanski said Friday. "We'll see how he responds to practicing today and make the decision." Njoku has recorded 56 catches for 439 yards with five touchdowns in 10 games this season. He's also demonstrated a solid connection with Dorian Thompson-Robinson in the second-year signal caller's three career starts. The veteran tight end has a 27 percent target share and double-digit fantasy points in each of those starts. |

New York Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (foot, knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.
Footballguys view: With the Giants rotating through four different triggermen this season, Nabers has proven to be quarterback-proof. The rookie currently sits at WR10 on the season -- despite missing two games to injury. Despite the missed time, volume has been his friend. As Late-Round Fantasy's JJ Zachariason noted this week, Nabers had a 41.2 percent target share against the Ravens this past Sunday, playing with DeVito and Boyle. He's now hit the 40 percent mark four times this year. No other wide receiver has done it more than twice. |
Giants | Drew Lock not on injury report Fri Dec 20, 03:26 PM

Giants | Tyrone Tracy questionable for Week 16 Fri Dec 20, 03:25 PM
New York Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Footballguys view: Tracy was able to work on a limited basis in practice early in the week, so he may be on the "more likely" range of questionable. Devin Singletary would handle the lead role if Tracy is inactive, with Eric Gray available to chip in as needed. |
Panthers | Questionable tag for Jalen Coker Fri Dec 20, 03:20 PM
Carolina Panthers WR Jalen Coker (quadriceps) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Link to storyPanthers | Xavier Legette to miss Week 16 Fri Dec 20, 03:19 PM
Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (hip) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and has been ruled out for Week 16.
Footballguys view: Legette went down during last week's loss to the Cowboys and was not able to practice this week. He leads the team with 41 catches, 439 yards, and four touchdowns. With fellow wideouts David Moore (concussion) and Jalen Coker (quad) listed as questionable, Adam Thielen is the Panthers' most reliable receiving asset heading into this one. |
Bills | Dalton Kincaid ready to play Fri Dec 20, 03:09 PM
Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.
Footballguys view: As USA Today suggested, the second-year tight end hasn't delivered the elite production fantasy owners who drafted him were hoping for in 2024. He has finished as a top-10 tight end just twice this season, but he's in a good spot this Sunday as the Patriots are in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points allowed to tight ends. Kincaid returned from a knee injury last week and played slightly less than half of the team's snaps. He finished with a decent four-catch 53-yard performance despite the limited snaps. He'll look to build on that this weekend. |

New York Giants LB Patrick Johnson (knee), LB Bobby Okereke (back) and OL Aaron Stinnie (concussion) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Atlanta Falcons. CB Greg Stroman (shoulder, shin) also did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. CB Deonte Banks (rib) and RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. (ankle) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. LB Brian Burns (ankle, neck) was upgraded to a limited practice on Friday, Dec. 20, and is listed as questionable. OL Austin Schlottmann (leg) and LB Dyontae Johnson (ankle) practiced in full all week but are also listed as questionable. WR Malik Nabers (knee, foot), DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches (neck, shoulder) and CB Dru Phillips (shoulder) were limited in practice on Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. Bills | Amari Cooper should be available Fri Dec 20, 03:04 PM
Buffalo Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.
Footballguys view: Cooper did not receive a single target in last week's shootout win at Detroit. He was fourth among Bills receivers in snaps, with just 44.1 percent. Tight end Dalton Kincaid and rookie receiver Keon Coleman both returned from injury for that contest. As NFL Network's Michael F. Florio noted, both were active in Cooper's first two games with Buffalo, and the veteran wideout received just seven total targets in those contests. The matchup against New England this week isn't especially daunting, but Cooper's volatile usage makes him a boom-or-bust option. |

Falcons | Drake London limited Friday Fri Dec 20, 03:03 PM
Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 20, but is not on the injury report for Week 16.
Footballguys view: London was added to the report after being limited in practice with a knee injury. However, London has no injury designation, leaving him on track to play against the Giants. London leads the Falcons with 78 catches, 919 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns, so his presence should make Michael Penix Jr.'s first NFL start go a little more smoothly. |
