1. JAX - TE Tim Tebow terms

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating previous reports, Jacksonville Jaguars TE Tim Tebow received a one-year, $920,000 deal with no guaranteed money and an injury split.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

As expected, Tebow is no sure thing to make the team, and perhaps even an underdog when you consider that he has been away from the game for eight years. He generates headlines in much greater abundance than relevant football stories, although if Tebow does make the team, he could gum up the works in the red zone offense in a Taysom Hill-esque role. He won't have fantasy value of his own, but Tebow could destroy the fantasy value of others.

2. CLE - Tommy Togiai comes to terms

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Dan Labbe

Cleveland Browns DT Tommy Togiai on Friday, May 21, signed his four-year rookie contract, the team announced.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Togiai will get into the defensive line rotation right away and be a thorn in the side of opponents, especially against the running game. He has potential as a pass rusher and will be a fan favorite in Cleveland in short order.

3. SF - WR Bennie Fowler joins Niners

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Free agent WR Bennie Fowler (Saints) on Friday, May 21, signed a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers. In a corresponding move, WR Marqise Lee was waived.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fowler has bounced around the league and probably won't make the 49ers final roster, but they'll get a good look at him for their emergency list and he's going to be on speed dial for a lot of teams if they get desperate at wide receiver during the season.

4. NYG - Kadarius Toney to move around

Source: ESPN.com - Jordan Raanan

New York Giants WR Kadarius Toney was used on jet sweeps, in the screen game and in the Wildcat formation during rookie minicamp, and head coach Joe Judge said Toney will be used in a multiple roles. 'We will make sure we create enough versatility in his game to play him in different spots,' Judge said.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Toney will be eased into the offense at first, mostly with manufactured touches since the Giants are very good three-deep at wide receiver right now. He could replace Sterling Shepard in the slot and get some snaps at outside receiver as he develops, but he is not a polished final product and was drafted more for his ability after the ball is in his hands.

5. KC - QB Patrick Mahomes set for OTAs

Source: NFL Network - James Palmer

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (toe) remains ahead of schedule in his recovery from offseason toe surgery and will participate in the Chiefs' OTAs, which begin Tuesday, May 25, according to a source. Mahomes will 'do some stuff' in OTAs, the source added, and should then be fully ready for the start of training camp.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mahomes was probably affected more by his toe injury than we know, but it sounds like we shouldn't worry at all about it affecting him in the 2021 season.

6. ARI - WR Antoine Wesley signs with Arizona

Source: AZCardinals.com

Free agent WR Antoine Wesley (Ravens) on Friday, May 22, signed with the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wesley has length and fluid athleticism with good enough speed, but wasn't able to stick with the Ravens after spending one year on the practice squad and one on injured reserve. He went undrafted in 2019.

7. BUF - Buffalo signs draft pick Damar Hamlin

Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills S Damar Hamlin on Friday, May 21, signed his four-year rookie contract.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hamlin is no sure thing to make the team, but the sixth round pick can play multiple roles in a secondary that values disciplined coverage over pure athleticism.

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mougey was promoted from within even though new GM George Paton came from the Vikings. He'll be the #2 to Paton. Mougey was a college receiver at San Diego State, goin and had a cup of coffee with the Cardinals, and since has served in various roles in the Broncos scouting department.
