1. CIN - Joe Burrow looking good for Week 1

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (knee) is 'all systems go' for the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings, according to Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed the surgery on his torn anterior cruciate ligament on Dec. 2. 'He's on track for full go for the start of the season. He's doing all the work. He's worked his tail off and been an amazingly mature participant in his recovery. He's focused and great to work with. ... We are very happy with his recovery to say the least. Notwithstanding the nature of his injury and extent of his reconstruction, his knee is performing perfectly. We just had him tested out here with a high-tech video and biomechanical evaluation and he was ahead of where we anticipated and well into the return to performance phase of his recovery. With him already performing this way, it's 'all systems go' for the start of the season,' ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam's Schefter via text Tuesday, May 18.

Great news for the Bengals and for Fantasy GMs here. Burrow has incredible weapons around him, made even better with the selection of his former college teammate WR Ja'Marr Chase in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. If he stays healthy, Burrow has the upside to finish this year with QB1 production. As of now, Burrow has a low-end QB1 average draft position. His ADP is QB12 (7.10) in 12-team PPR leagues.

2. MIA - Offense Much Different Than Last Year

Source: Adam Beasley - Miami Herald

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin admits that the offensive playbook is "much different from last year."

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Dolphins have co-offensive coordinators in Eric Studesville and George Godsey, so expect them to look different on offense. The team should emphasize what quarterback Tua Tagovailoa can do, and they've improved the passing weapons around him. Gaskin is the top back for the Dolphins but there is going to be competition for touches from free agent addition Malcolm Brown. Gaskin has a current ADP of RB24 (4.12) in 12-team PPR leagues.

3. HOU - Rookie Mills to Start at Some Point?

Source: Aaron Reiss - The Athletic

Houston Texans rookie quarterback Davis Mills should start "at some point" this year according to Aaron Reiss from The Athletic.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We should see Tyrod Taylor begin the season for the Texans as the starter. When the season is lost (shouldn't take that long) then the team might want to see what Mills can do. During his college career at Stanford, Mills showed like a prototypical pocket passer. He's big, has a strong arm, is not terribly mobile, makes quick decisions and can distribute the ball all over the field. With limited experience (11 games started), Mills has a lot to work on and could use the reps.

4. NE - QB Brian Hoyer headed back to New England

Source: The Boston Globe - Jim McBride

Free-agent QB Brian Hoyer (Patriots) reportedly agreed to terms on an undisclosed contract to return to the New England Patriots on Monday, May 17.

Hoyer is back to be a camp arm and push to make the final roster. The quarterback room is packed now with Cam Newton, rookie first-round pick Mac Jones and Jarrett Stidham. We'll see how Hoyer can work his way into that mix.
