B. Detailed Stat Projections Are LIVE - And A Philosophical Thought
The foundation of Footballguys has always been our detailed stat projections. They drive all our tools and information and basically everything we do. We have full sets available for you here with nothing held back. And for a limited time, they're completely free. Enjoy.

And a philosophical thought. This discussion came up today and I thought it would be worth sharing here.

I'm a big believer in projecting and predicting what we really think will happen. And I stress to our folks doing the projections and rankings they have that freedom. But I also stress they have to be able to make a case for every projection and ranking. I think it's super important.

Because our promise to you the customer is we'll give you all we've got. If we don't do that, we should just publish an ADP list and call it a day.

Or do what some folks do and tweak an ADP list just enough and mail it in. That's certainly the easiest path. Nobody ever yells at me if we have a Footballguys projection that's right in line with ADP. But that's not much value for you.

So we'll always go with what we really think. Even when it's unpopular.

It's our promise to you in giving you all we can to help you win more at fantasy football.

C. Footballguys Staff Talk - The Most-Interesting Rookie QB
We asked our Footballguys Staff which rookie QB they were most interested in. Here's what they said.

D. NFL Draft Fallout: Veteran RBs Who Benefitted From the NFL Draft
Our Jordan McNamara looks at five running backs, Mike Davis, Chase Edmonds, Damien Harris, Myles Gaskin, and Joe Mixon, who all find themselves in better situations after the NFL Draft.

E. Footballguys Spotlight - Reception Perception
When my friend Matt Harmon talks. I listen. Hard. Especially when it comes to wide receivers. His Reception Perception site is outstanding and you'll love it. Check out a sample article here.

1. TB - TE O.J. Howard almost all the way back

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Charean Williams

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE O.J. Howard (Achilles) is expected to attend mandatory minicamp in early June, according to comments from head coach Bruce Arians.'Yeah, he's really close now. He looks fantastic working out every day,' Arians said.

Howard gives the Buccaneers yet another weapon in the passing game. In 2020, Howard was on a career best pace over the first four games of the year. He's been on the road to recovery since last fall, and it sounds like he's progressing well. Expect the team to ease him back into action. If he gets back to where he was physically, the role is there for him to post near TE1 numbers in this offense.

2. NYG - NYG adds TE Kelvin Benjamin

Source: Giants.com - Michael Eisen

Free-agent WR/TE Kelvin Benjamin (Chiefs) signed with the New York Giants Sunday, May 16. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Benjamin must have impressed as a tight end during his tryout. A former first-round pick of the Panthers (with GM Dave Gettleman) as a wide receiver, Benjamin hasn't played a regular season game since 2018. The Giants have Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph as their top two tight ends, and Benjamin will work to earn a spot behind them on the depth chart. With Engram's propensity to get banged up, Benjamin might see some playing time (if he makes the 53-man roster).

3. TB - Tampa adding four players

Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman

Free-agent RB Troymaine Pope (Chargers), TE Jerell Adams (Lions), CB Antonio Hamilton (Chiefs) and S Curtis Riley (Vikings) agreed to terms with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday, May 16. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

Pope has a bit of experience in the league from his time with the Chargers. The Buccaneers are stacked at the running back position, so Pope will have to earn his spot on special teams.

4. CLE - WR Johnnie Dixon trying out

Source: ClevelandBrowns.com - Andrew Gribble

Free-agent WR Johnnie Dixon (Cardinals) is participating in the Cleveland Browns rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Originally an undrafted free agent for the Texans in 2019, the former Ohio State receiver made some plays for them in the preseason (9 catches, 77 yards) but did not make the team. The Cardinals picked him up and stashed him on their practice squad after that and since then. Dixon is a long shot to make the Browns roster and is angling to get on their practice squad.

5. CHI - Chicago signing WR Chris Lacy

Source: Chicago Tribune - Brad Biggs

Free-agent WR Chris Lacy (Cowboys) agreed to terms with the Chicago Bears Sunday, May 16. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Lacy has been bouncing around the league since he was an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State in 2018. He's spent time with the Patriots, Lions and Cowboys. Now, he'll get a chance to prove himself with the Bears. There's a chance for him to earn a spot behind Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller and Darnell Mooney although he's a long-shot for the final roster.

6. LAR - Four draft picks signed by LAR

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

The Los Angeles Rams announced the signings of RB Jake Funk, WR Ben Skowronek, DE Earnest Brown and LB Chris Garrett to rookie contracts Sunday, May 16. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Funk is a hard-charging running back with some burst to break off chunk plays. He suffered an ACL injury to the same knee in 2018 and 2019 so durability is a concern. Funk will work primarily as a special teams player but if given the opportunity there is some natural skill that could be used on offense.

7. NYG - RB Corey Clement signs with New York

Source: The Record - Art Stapleton

Free-agent RB Corey Clement (Eagles) signed an undisclosed contract with the New York Giants Saturday, May 15.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Clement has been a solid reserve and special teams player for most of his pro career. That's the role he'll try and carve out with the Giants this year. Saquon Barkley and Devontae Booker are the top two backs on the roster.
