Top 100 Rookies, 2021 Draft Consensus And MORE

Howdy Folks,

I'm not sure I thought I'd ever see the day when a Best Ball Contest was offering a Million Dollar plus Grand Prize. Today is that day. Check out the details below from our friends at Underdog .

The dust is still settling from the Draft and it's that time of year when lesser-known undrafted free agents are quietly signing with teams. We'll keep an eye out for you there as every once in a while, those guys are gold. And it's people like you paying attention in May who usually find them.

We've also got new podcasts for you with a sweet new video setup plus the Bloom 100. And a cool way to view the Draft Grades in our Footballguys Spotlight where we're going to shine the light on rad stuff around the internet.

Let's Go.

D. Footballguys Spotlight - Consensus 2021 NFL Draft Grades
One of the the changes we're making this year is I want to shine a spotlight on cool stuff I see outside of Footballguys. Yes, I'm biased towards what we do but the reality is there's a ton of incredible content created each day and I want to help those folks get the attention they deserve. Plus point you towards great stuff.

For this one, check out Rene Bugner who put together a consensus report taking 26 Draft Evaluators and assembling them into one rad graphic. Love it.

Rock on, Rene.

1. IND - RB Marlon Mack in good shape to begin season

Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Alex Marvez

Indianapolis Colts RB Marlon Mack (Achilles) is 'ready to go' from the torn Achilles tendon he suffered in Week 1 of the 2020 season, according to general manager Chris Ballard.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Achilles' injuries are no longer as serious as they used to be. Recovery from that injury is better developed than in the past, and it sounds like Mack will be good to go for the season opener. We'll likely see him eased into action when training camp begins with an eye on him being available for Week 1.

Alie-Cox has been developing as a tight end and hopes to improve his numbers from last year. He works as a backup to Jack Doyle but does get some work in the red zone.

3. DET - TE Darren Fells set to meet with Detroit

Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo

Free-agent TE Darren Fells (Texans) is scheduled to visit with the Detroit Lions on Tuesday, May 4.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fells is a big-bodied veteran tight end who can contribute as a blocker and receiver. If added, he would work to find a spot on the depth chart behind starter T.J. Hockenson.

4. CHI - Chicago lands CJ Marable

Source: CBSSports.com

Undrafted free-agent RB CJ Marable (Coastal Carolina) reportedly agreed to terms with the Chicago Bears on Sunday, May 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Marable is a compact runner who can make big plays in open space. He's more than a scatback, but he does have that type of skill set with quickness and agility in the backfield. Marable can also make plays as a receiver out of the backfield. He's an intriguing prospect for Fantasy GMs in crazy deep dynasty formats.

5. DEN - Four UDFAs joining Denver

Source: CBSSports.com

Undrafted free-agent WRs Warren Jackson (Colorado State) and WR Devontres Dukes (South Florida), FB Adam Prentice (South Carolina) and TE Shaun Beyer (Iowa) agreed to terms with the Denver Broncos on Monday, May 3.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Beyer followed up Noah Fant in college at Iowa but he's a different player from his predecessor. He's a tough, hard-nosed blocker who can help out with the ground game. Jackson is a huge target (six-feet, six-inches) and has a large wingspan to help him play 'above the rim.' He's a red zone threat immediately and should be angling to make the Broncos practice squad since their wide receiver room is jam-packed with talent.

6. DAL - Dallas signs several UDFAs

Source: CBS Sports

The Dallas Cowboys signed undrafted free agents RB JaQuan Hardy (Tiffin), WR Osirus Mitchell (Mississippi State), TE Artayvious Lynn (TCU), OL Braylon Jones (Houston), DL Austin Faoliu (Oregon) and LB Anthony Hines (Texas A&M) on Sunday, May 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Lynn is a big-bodied blocker who tested well at TCU's pro day. He could perhaps be asked to do more as a receiver than he was in college (22 career receptions, 2 touchdowns). Hardy was a productive back for Tiffin in 2019, showcasing a nose for the end zone and good play speed with little wasted motion as a runner.

7. LVR - Las Vegas adds eight UDFAs

Source: CBS Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders signed undrafted free agents RBs Trey Ragas (Louisiana-Lafayette) and Garrett Groshek (Wisconsin), WR Dillon Stoner (Oklahoma State), TE Matt Bushman (BYU), OT Devery Hamilton (Duke), DT Darius Stills (West Virginia), LB Max Richardson (Boston College) and DB TJ Morrison (Stony Brook) on Sunday, May 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Groshek originally went to Madison as a quarterback but converted to running back. He'll try to latch on with the Raiders as a power player. Ragas was a football legend in the state of Louisiana. He has a nose for the end zone and runs with natural instincts and vision. Ragas is a player we'll monitor in crazy deep dynasty formats.

9. ARI - Bernhard Seikovits added to Cards

Source: ArizonaSports.com - Kevin Zimmerman

Free-agent TE Bernhard Seikovits (Austria) has been allocated to the Arizona Cardinals through the NFL's International Player Pathway Program.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This program is always interesting for Fantasy GMs who play in the deepest of deep dynasty leagues. Seikovits is a 252-pound tight end who played quarterback overseas. He won two European Championships as a quarterback for the U19 national team.
