Howdy Folks,

Good Monday to you and I hope your weekend was relaxing. We're back with a ton of new football content for you. Camps aren't far away now.

We had a weekend of NASCAR and Golf and we're close to MLB. I haven't been a Baseballguy in a while but I'm all in now as I'm cheering for sports. Here's an interesting article on baseball from last week and about the new normal as we get back to sports.

I'm stoked to have them.

Now let's get to it.

A. Our Newest Feature - Wisdom Of The Crowds Rankings
I've said for years there's no smarter group of Fantasy Football people than Footballguys Subscribers. And there are a LOT of you. We're up to almost half a million subscribers for the Daily Email Update and that number will continue to go up through August.
Anytime you have that many people coupled with the kind of football knowledge you folks have, there are some powerful opportunities.
This Wisdom Of The Crowds Rankings is one of those things.
The idea is simple. We throw up two players and you click on the one you'd prefer to draft. That's it. You'll then see the results for both your vote compared to other people in the Footballguys Community. And also how it compares to our Footballguys Staff Experts.
All the while, behind the scenes our Mathguys are taking all the other votes pouring in to create a complete list for how we rank all the players at that position. Which you can see too if you're logged in at Footballguys.
It's pretty rad and we're super excited about it. Check it out and let us know what you think.

B. Premium Feature - Pick-a-Player: Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, or Joe Mixon
We asked the Footballguys Staff: "It's the 1.08 pick in 12-team, PPR draft. The top four running backs are off the board as are Dalvin Cook, Michael Thomas, and Derrick Henry. Would you select Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, or Joe Mixon? Or would you pass on all three?"
This is what they said.

C. Premium Feature - Dynasty News
Jeff Tefertiller scours the news around the NFL to bring you what matters most to you and your dynasty team.

D. Free Feature - FBG Predicts: The NFC South
Footballguys staffers predict how the NFC South will shake out this year.

1. NYJ - S Jamal Adams expected to appear at camp

Source: 1 No Source

New York Jets S Jamal Adams is expected to report to training camp despite his ongoing contract dispute, according to Bleacher Report's Connor Rogers. However, he is still seeking a contract extension or trade before the beginning of the season.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets appear to be set on keeping Adams through at least this year, if not the end of his rookie deal. His tune could change in 2021 if Adam Gase is gone, but the trade market could also change if a team sees Adams as the missing piece during the season. For now expect Adams to be starting against Buffalo in Week 1.

2. PHI - Jason Peters expected to be at RG

Source: EaglesWire - Glenn Erby

Philadelphia Eagles OG Jason Peters is expected to be the starting right guard this upcoming season.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is no surprise. The team is relying on the chemistry between Peters and veterans Lane Johnson and Jason Kelce on either side of him to help the transition to a new position while 2019 first round pick Andre Dillard mans Peters old left tackle spot. Matt Pryor will be a solid backup to Peters as the Eagles have acted to patch the big hole left when Brandon Brooks tore his achilles this offseason.

3. NE - QB Jarrett Stidham working out with teammates

Source: - Mike Reiss

New England Patriots QBs Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer have been working out with teammates this past week. WR Mohamed Sanu, WR Gunner Olszewski, RB Damien Harris and TE Dalton Keene were among the players participating in the workouts.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cam Newton was working out with Patriots free agent signing Damiere Byrd, who was his teammate in Carolina, and last week worked out with Sanu and 2019 first-round pick N'keal Harry. Stidham has a longer tenure with the team, and his familiarity with the offense and roster will be his best bet to win the starting job over Newton.

4. LVR - DT P.J. Hall may be on bubble

Source: - Paul Gutierrez

Las Vegas Raiders DT P.J. Hall may be on the roster bubble during training camp because the team signed DTs Maliek Collins and Daniel Ross this offseason.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hall was a small school second round pick in 2018 but hasn't blossomed like the team hoped he would. Collins might be one of the leaders of the defensive tackle group in snaps and become relevant in IDP leagues that require the position in starting lineups.

5. DAL - Four competing for two OL spots

Source: CowboysWire - Ben Grimaldi

Dallas Cowboys C Tyler Biadasz, OG Connor X. McGovern, OG Joe Looney and OG Connor Williams will be competing for the starting center and left guard job during training camp.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team lost Travis Frederick to retirement, but Biadasz was seen as better than a fifth round prospect by some draft analysts, and he's a Wisconsin product like Frederick. Williams will have to win his starting left guard with a new coaching staff including offensive line coach Joe Philbin to impress.

6. MIN - Pat Elflein may need strong camp

Source: - Courtney Cronin

Minnesota Vikings OG Pat Elflein likely will need a strong training camp in order to make the final roster, in the opinion of's Courtney Cronin.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Both Vikings guard spots are wide open competitions according to the general manager Rick Spielman, so Elflein could end up anywhere from starting to off of the roster before finishing out his third-round pick rookie contract from 2017.

7. DET - Quintez Cephus likely to make team

Source: - Michael Rothstein

Detroit Lions WR Quintez Cephus likely will make the final roster, in the opinion of's Michael Rothstein.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cephus is an advanced route runner and very combative with his hands and body positioning. He could be in line to start as early as next year with Marvin Jones set to his free agency in 2021. He's a great later target in dynasty rookie drafts.

8. KC - DE Breeland Speaks not guaranteed spot

Source: - Adam Teicher

Kansas City Chiefs DE Breeland Speaks will be given the chance to earn a roster spot during training camp, but his spot is not guaranteed because of the depth the team has at the position.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Chiefs traded up in the second round in 2018 for Speaks, who actually fit better in the 4-3 defense they installed last year than the 3-4 they had when he was drafted. He also was suspended for four games for breaking the league's substance abuse policy after being placed on IR with a torn ACL.

9. WAS - Josh Harvey-Clemons may not make team

Source: - John Keim

Washington Redskins LB Josh Harvey-Clemons is expected to be on the roster bubble during training camp since the team is moving to a 4-3 defensive alignment and have added several other linebackers this offseason.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Harvey-Clemons has some usefulness on passing downs, but the Washington roster is overloaded with off ball linebackers.
