The toe injury was suffered in the Divisional Round. Mahomes looked good to go in the AFC Championship Game, and looks ready to go in the Super Bowl against the Buccaneers.

2. TB - RB LeSean McCoy contemplating retirement

Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB LeSean McCoy told NJ.com's Darryl Slater that he will consider retiring if the Buccaneers defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. McCoy got a Super Bowl ring last year with the Chiefs but he didn't do anything in the postseason as he was a healthy scratch. We'll see if he can go back-to-back Super Bowl championships with two different teams. McCoy's best days are far behind him and he'll be hanging them up soon whether or not the Bucs win.

3. IND - WR Chris Godwin an option for Indianapolis?

Source: NFLAnalysisNet - Evan Massey

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin - an impending free agent - is expected to receive interest on the open market from the Indianapolis Colts this offseason, according to Evan Massey of NFLAnalysisNet.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With T.Y. Hilton set to be an unrestricted free agent, the Colts are looking for help at the wide receiver position. Godwin may be looking to work as a no.1 receiver for a new team. Buzz around the Colts indicate they would like to bring Hilton back, but the price will have to be right...especially if they make a move for Godwin.

4. KC - QB Patrick Mahomes getting it done on the move

Source: NFL - Next Gen Stats

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes led the league with 951 passing yards on the run - defined as the player running is at least eight miles per hour at the time of throw, according to Next Gen Stats. During the regular season, Mahomes ranked first or second in completions (76) and passing touchdowns (13) on such throws.

Mahomes is dangerous on the move. He can keep plays alive with his feet, but he's always keeping his eyes downfield to strike as a passer. That will continue for years to come.

5. NFL - Two elite deep threats squaring off in Super Bowl

Source: Pro Football Focus

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (107) and WR Mike Evans (90) rank first and second in the league, respectively, in most targets on 20-yard throws since 2018, according to Pro Football Focus.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This should be a fun game, for many reasons, and these two wide receivers are just part of that. Hill should be able to attack that young Buccaneers secondary, while Evans will do his best to work against the Chiefs defense. Both teams have other options, but these two are some of the best in the game and just fun to watch work.

6. ATL - No 'trade conversation' for QB Matt Ryan or WR Julio Jones

Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero

Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan and WR Julio Jones are expected to be on the roster for the 2021 season. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Tuesday, Feb. 2, the team hasn't had 'any trade conversations' about Ryan or Jones.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Both seem like they're going to stay with the Falcons for 2021 at least. Reports indicate that Falcons owner Arthur Blank does not want to part ways with Ryan. New GM Terry Fontenot will have the final say, but the team might want to keep Ryan then draft a young quarterback (Justin Fields?) to groom behind him for a year.

7. MIA - MIA going with duo at OC

Source: ESPN.com - Cameron Wolfe

Miami Dolphins assistant coaches Eric Studesville and George Godsey will serve as co-offensive coordinators.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is an ...interesting...decision by the Dolphins to go with co-OCs. Studesville has interim head-coaching experience from his time with the Broncos and was looking for a promotion. Godsey, the team's tight ends coach, will help craft a system that gets the most out of second-year pro QB Tua Tagovailoa.

8. KC - WR Sammy Watkins optimistic

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) feels optimistic about playing in the Super Bowl.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watkins wants to get out there for the big game. The Chiefs are good to go whether or not he's in the game or not.

9. PHI - WR Travis Fulgham's work ethic in question?

Source: NBC Sports Philadelphia - Reuben Frank

Philadelphia Eagles WR Travis Fulgham figures to benefit from the coaching change from Doug Pederson to Nick Sirianni after reportedly landing in the former's doghouse due to his 'work habits,' according to Reuben Frank of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Work habits is a nice way of putting things. We'll see if a new head coach sparks the young receiver to get those work habits where they need to be. Sirriani is a former wide receivers coach, so Fulgham will have a coach who can get the most out of him. Fulgham will try to climb the depth chart in training camp.
