1. CHI - CHI GM and HC staying

Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo

Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy will return for 2021.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Pace is in the final year of his contract in 2021. Nagy is under contract through the 2022 season. Both are on the hot seat...again. Backing into the postseason this year helped them stay around for one more season. We'll see what they can do to get the team further in 2021. Getting the right quarterback for the Bears is priority no.1 for Pace and Nagy.

2. TB - RB Ronald Jones out of practice

Source: Tampa Bay Times - Rick Stroud

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones (quadriceps) is out of practice Wednesday, Jan. 13.

Jones is still dealing with a sore quad (obviously) but we're not hitting the panic button. He has an extra day as the Buccaneers play on Sunday against the Saints. If he can't go again, then the Buccaneers can easily turn to Leonard Fournette again.

3. JAX - Urban Meyer closing in on Jacksonville job?

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio

Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is reportedly 'close to taking the (head coaching) job,' according to sources. Furthermore, the expectation is interim general manager Trent Baalke will be retained should Meyer accept the job.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Meyer is reportedly enamored with Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence. Well, him and everyone else is excited about seeing Lawrence in the NFL. Lawrence will be the no.1 overall pick to the Jaguars, and they've got $100 million in cap space to work with in free agency. Meyer is getting interest from the Chargers as well.

4. DEN - George Paton hired by Denver

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Minnesota Vikings assistant general manager George Paton was hired by the Denver Broncos Wednesday, Jan. 13, as general manager and signed a six-year deal. Financial terms weren't disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

An incredible move for the Broncos franchise. Paton was a top-tier candidate who has had plenty of interest as a GM for years. He sees the Broncos as a 'sleeping giant' and that may be the case if he gets an upgrade at quarterback. Looking at his history with the Vikings, Paton may lean towards getting a veteran starter instead of rolling with third-year pro Drew Lock. We'll see if the Broncos can pull off a trade for someone like a Matthew Stafford or if they go in the direction of free agent veterans like Andy Dalton or Jameis Winston.

5. BUF - WR Cole Beasley remains limited

Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 13.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're surprised that Beasley played last week. He's super tough and nowhere near 100 percent healthy, but he should put it on the line against the Ravens in the Divisional Round.

6. NO - RB Latavius Murray misses practice

Source: ESPN.com - Jenna Laine

New Orleans Saints RB Latavius Murray (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Jan. 13.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Murray works as a key reserve behind Alvin Kamara. We'll watch his status as the week of practice goes on.

7. BUF - Limited practice for WR Stefon Diggs

Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs (oblique) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 13.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Diggs got some rest on this oblique injury last week and was a stud in the Wild Card Round. He'll get some limited work this week as the Bills prepare for the Ravens in the Divisional Round.

8. KC - WR Antonio Callaway signs futures deal

Source: Yahoo! Sports - Terez A. Paylor

Free-agent WR Antonio Callaway (Dolphins) signed a Reserve/Future contract with the Kansas City Chiefs Wednesday, Jan. 13, according to a source. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's an interesting landing spot for an interesting skill set and player. Callaway was a fourth-round pick for the Browns when he came out of Florida for the 2018 NFL draft. He's got tons of speed and playmaking ability, but Callaway has had troubles on and off the field. Callaway has played in only 25 games over his three-year career, mostly due to suspensions. If he gets his act together with this team, then Callaway could start finally playing up to his potential. We'll watch him but only in super deep dynasty formats.

9. CLE - WR Jarvis Landry puts in full practice

Source: Chiefs.com

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry (hip) was a full participant at practice Wednesday, Jan. 13.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Browns need everything they can get against the Chiefs on Sunday. They're playing with house money after beating the Steelers in the Wild Card Round. We're excited to see what kind of fight the Browns can put up against the defending Super Bowl champions.
