Updating a previous story, Denver Broncos QBs Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles have been ruled ineligible for the game Sunday, Nov. 29, against the New Orleans Saints due to COVID-19 contact tracing, according to sources.

Absolutely huge news for the Broncos here. Ian Rapoport reports that practice squad WR Kendall Hinton (a three-year starting QB at Wake Forest) should see work at QB. They also have RB Royce Freeman (their emergency quarterback) as an option. They can run Wildcat formation with RBs Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay if they choose. Stay tuned as clearly this is a fluid situation.
2. PHI - TE Zach Ertz unlikely

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (ankle) is unlikely to play in Week 12, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

Richard Rodgers will be the second tight end instead of Ertz. Ertz wasn't doing much for fantasy before he went out, so fantasy teams probably aren't missing much. Ertz will likely return next week at Green Bay.
3. SF - RB Raheem Mostert activated

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (ankle) was activated off the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 28.

Mostert will play and should be in lineups against the Rams.
4. DET - Matt Patrica, Bob Quinn fired

Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn were informed on Saturday, Nov. 28, that they have been fired.

Finally. The Lions are now with the Falcons and Texans in the search for a GM and a head coach. Patricia should surface as a defensive coordinator or position coach next year if he wants to.
5. IND - Jonathan Taylor on COVID list

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor is in quarantine after his girlfriend learned Friday, Nov. 27, that she is positive for COVID-19, per a source. Taylor has not tested positive, but due to protocols he has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and will miss the team's Week 12 game Sunday, Nov. 29, against the Tennessee Titans.

Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins will split the work in his place. Hines had a terrific game against the Titans in Week 10 and he is the better play of the two.
6. PIT - RB James Conner positive for COVID

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (illness) has tested positive for COVID-19, multiple sources reported Saturday, Nov. 28. Conner is awaiting a second test tomorrow to confirm the results, and contact tracing continues.

Conner is almost certainly out for Tuesday - if the game is played Tuesday - and we have a heightened sense of worry for him because he is a cancer survivor. Benny Snell and Anthony McFarland would split the work in Conner's place.
7. CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey to miss game

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) didn't travel with the team Saturday, Nov. 28, for the Week 12 game in Minnesota, per source, meaning he's out for a third straight game.

We'll get one more Mike Davis start and then expect to see McCaffrey against his hometown Broncos in Week 14 after the Panthers bye.
8. MIA - QB Ryan Fitzpatrick likely to start

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is likely to start Sunday, Nov. 29, in the Week 12 game against the New York Jets after QB Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) was downgraded to doubtful Saturday.

This is an upgrade for the whole Dolphins offense, but especially DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki. We'll see if Fitzpatrick holds onto the job next week against the Bengals now that Miami has an excuse to keep him in.
9. DEN - Kendall Hinton to play big role Sunday

Updating an ongoing story, Denver Broncos WR Kendall Hinton will play plenty at quarterback Sunday, Nov. 29, according to a source Saturday, Nov. 28. Hinton played QB at Wake Forest.

Hinton is probably available in every league but he is still only a deep desperation play even in 2QB/Superflex leagues and no Broncos is worth playing Sunday. The Saints D/ST might be a Week 12 fantasy MVP.
10. LAC - RB Austin Ekeler activated

Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (hamstring) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 28.

We're still leery of how much work he'll see. The Chargers play an early game so we'll have more clarity on his Week 12 status tomorrow morning. For now, Ekeler is likely the best Chargers running back play if active, but not a safe play.
11. PIT - QB Ben Roethlisberger cleared for Week 12

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (non-injury, quadriceps) doesn't have an injury designation for the team's scheduled Week 12 game Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Also of note: Aditi Kinkhabwala reported Saturday, "#Steelers QB coach Matt Canada has indeed tested #COVID positive, but I'm told by multiple sources that QB Ben Roethlisberger was not deemed a close contact who needs to self isolate. Roethlisberger already went thru this once after sitting on the plane next to a Covid+ teammate." So it looks like Roethlisberger will be available to play.
12. DEN - Garett Bolles update

Updating a previous story, Denver Broncos OT Garett Bolles' four-year contract extension is worth $68 million, according to a source Saturday, Nov. 28.

Bolles hasn't been a smashing success, but the Broncos are satisfied enough with him to lock him up at a solid starter rate before he hits the market next year.
13. JAX - Jags add trio to roster

Jacksonville Jaguars PK Aldrick Rosas was added to the active roster from the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement Saturday, Nov, 28. DB Josh Nurse and WR Trey Quinn were also elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.

Check the status Sunday morning but looks like Rosas will be available.
14. SF - Niners make several moves

San Francisco 49ers CB Richard Sherman (calf) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 28. LB Joseph Walker and OT Trent Williams were activated off the Reserve/COVID-19 list. DL Alex Barrett was activated from the practice squad. OL Tony Bergstrom, DL Darrion Daniels and DL Willie Henry Jr. were activated from the practice squad to the active roster as COVID-19 replacements.

Good news for Sherman and the 49ers as they get some players back.
15. BUF - WR John Brown lands on IR

Buffalo Bills WR John Brown (ankle) on Saturday, Nov. 28, was placed on the Reserve/Injured list with a high-ankle sprain.

The door is now open for Gabriel Davis to have an impact down the stretch as the outside receiver opposite Stefon Diggs.
16. CHI - QB Tyler Bray on active roster

Chicago Bears QB Tyler Bray was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Nov. 28.

Without Nick Foles, the team needed more depth at the position. Bray has a big arm but little control as a passer. Mitchell Trubisky is back in the starting lineup.
17. DEN - Jerry Jeudy practicing Saturday

Denver Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (Achilles, ankle) is participating in practice Saturday, Nov. 28.

Jeudy is trending towards being a game time decision, but there's no reason to play any Broncos receiver this week with a practice squad quarterback who hasn't played the position since his freshman year starting for Denver.
18. SEA - RB Chris Carson returning on MNF

Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson (foot) was removed from the injury report Saturday, Nov. 28, and will return to the lineup Monday, Nov. 30, against the Philadelphia Eagles.

With Carson off of the injury report, we can trust him in lineups Monday night and not have to sweat out decisions between him and players going tomorrow without knowing his status.
19. IND - DT Grover Stewart lands extension

Indianapolis Colts DT Grover Stewart on Saturday, Nov. 28, agreed to a three-year, $30.75 extension with the team. The deal includes $20 million in guarantees and the potential for $ 1 million in incentives.

Just in time for Stewart to play a ton of snaps this weekend against Derrick Henry with DeForest Buckner and Denico Autry out for Week 12.

Baltimore Ravens DE Jaylon Ferguson, G D.J. Fluker, DT Broderick Washington, OT Will Holden, CB Khalil Dorsey and CB Tavon Young were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Nov. 28.

The Ravens are up to 18 players on the covid list. The game with the Steelers is still currently scheduled to be played Tuesday night.
23. NO - Terron Armstead out with positive test

New Orleans Saints OT Terron Armstead (illness) on Saturday, Nov. 28, tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Sunday's Week 12 game against the Denver Broncos.

The Saints offensive line will also be without Andrus Peat also missing the game with a concussion, but that is still a small worry compared to the Broncos quarterback situation.

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews (thigh) was limited at practice Saturday, Nov. 28, and is questionable for the Ravens' scheduled Week 12 game Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Andrews isn't a must start with Robert Griffin III at quarterback. At least he'll have a few extra days for his thigh to get better before the game.

Good news for Ebron here. Fantasy GMs know that he's inconsistent but if you're thin at the position then you can throw him in and hope for a touchdown.
