1. ATL - WR Julio Jones uncertain for Week 12

Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Will McFadden

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hamstring) could be a game-time decision for Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to comments made by interim head coach Raheem Morris.

Zero surprise here. Watch Jones be limited (at best) during practice later this week. He might not practice at all and the team may call him a game-time decision. Fantasy GMs need to have other plans at the ready.

2. MIN - WR Adam Thielen headed to COVID list

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Nov. 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Coming off a monster performance against the Cowboys, Fantasy GMs want to keep Thielen in their lineups. We'll see if he can get cleared before Sunday's game against the Panthers.

From the Minneapolis Star Tribune, "Thielen either tested positive or was in close contact with an infected person; based on NFL-NFLPA policy, teams don't announce individual positive cases."

"Thielen, who is tested daily under NFL protocols, can still be cleared to return for Sunday's game against the Panthers. The NFL requires a minimum five-day quarantine for high-risk close contacts and asymptomatic cases, and at least 10 days for symptomatic cases. Players can return even sooner if they're not positive or deemed a "high-risk" close contact, as long as they test negative."

Bottom line: stay tuned.

3. CIN - Joe Burrow diagnosed with multiple tears

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Updating previous reports, Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (knee) was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in his left knee Sunday, Nov. 22, according to multiple sources.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tough news for the young quarterback here. Burrow also reportedly suffered other structural issues in his knee as well, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. This injury will require months of recovery and it puts Burrow's availability for the beginning of the 2021 season in question.

4. CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey to miss more time?

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) was deemed 'week-to-week' by head coach Matt Rhule on Monday, Nov. 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCaffrey needs more time to get right. There was initial optimism surrounding this injury but that has proven to be a bit off. McCaffrey will get the proper time to heal which means we may not see him for some time. Mike Davis continues as the starter for the Panthers.

5. CIN - Joe Burrow lands on IR

Source: Bengals.com

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Nov. 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Burrow will miss the rest of the 2020 season and began a long road back. He'll have to have surgeries to repair the damage and then get ready for the start of the 2021 season. There's a chance that he misses time at the beginning of next year but obviously we're too far away to know that for sure.

6. MIA - Tua Tagovailoa remains the starter

Source: ESPN.com - Cameron Wolfe

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa will remain the team's starter in Week 12 against the New York Jets.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tagovailoa was under pressure all day on Sunday. The Broncos sacked him six times and the rookie struggled under duress. The team pulled him and Ryan Fitzpatrick came in and almost won the game, driving the team down the field only to throw a pick in the end zone trying to tie up the contest. Tagovailoa has a much better matchup against the Jets in Week 12.

7. PHI - RB Jordan Howard signs with PHI

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating a previous report, free-agent RB Jordan Howard (Dolphins) signed with the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad Monday, Nov. 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Howard is back with the Eagles after failing to impress during his time with the Dolphins. He will try to earn a short-yardage and perhaps goal-line role for the Eagles (best case scenario) behind starter Miles Sanders.

8. NYJ - La'Mical Perine out indefinitely

Source: ESPN.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets RB La'Mical Perine (ankle) was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain Monday, Nov. 23, and is expected to be sidelined for multiple games, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets backfield is getting thinner with this injury. The team wanted to use Perine more behind Frank Gore but this ankle problem is going to prevent that. Ty Johnson is behind Gore on the depth chart and could get a larger role without Perine out there. The Jets also have Josh Adams on their practice squad and he could get called up.

9. CIN - QB Brandon Allen, Quinton Spain promoted

Source: ESPN.com - Ben Baby

Cincinnati Bengals QB Brandon Allen and OG Quinton Spain were signed off the practice squad Monday, Nov. 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Bengals need another arm with Joe Burrow (knee) done for the year. Ryan Finley is the starter going forward. Allen has starting experience, last year with the Broncos, but he should be the backup to Finley for the rest of the 2020 season.

10. CAR - QB Teddy Bridgewater set to practice Wednesday

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater (knee) reportedly felt good and got through his pregame warmup without issue in Week 11, but head coach Matt Rhule opted to go with backup P.J. Walker anyway. Rhule told reporters Monday, Nov. 23, that he expects Bridgewater to return to a full practice Wednesday, Nov. 25.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bridgewater was close to playing but they ended up giving him a week of rest. Walker started and the team won easy. Bridgewater should be out there at practice and things look good for his availability in Week 12. The Panthers travel to battle the Vikings on Sunday.

11. BAL - J.K. Dobbins, RB Mark Ingram test COVID positive

Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens RBs J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, Nov. 22, and will be placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Nov. 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's a short week for the Ravens since they play on Thanksgiving. Gus Edwards is expected to draw the start in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

12. HOU - TE Kahale Warring ready to roll

Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans TE Kahale Warring (hamstring) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Nov. 23.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Warring is an athletic tight end we've been monitoring in super deep dynasty formats. We'll see if he can impress in practice enough to get some snaps here and there. Warring will be competing in a tough room with fellow athletic tight ends like Darren Fells and Jordan Akins.
