Jones is safe to put in your lineup and he could have a big game against the young Vikings corners. His presence helps Matt Ryan's outlook this week too.

Source: Buccaneers.com - Carmen Vitali

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (hamstring) practiced Friday, Oct. 17, and looked 'the best he's looked in a while,' according to head coach Bruce Arians.

Godwin has a chance to play Sunday but we might have to wait until inactives are announced, which will be midway through the early games.

3. MIN - RB Dalvin Cook sitting out Friday

Source: St. Paul Pioneer Press - Chris Tomasson

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (groin) is not taking part in the team's practice Friday, Oct. 16.

Cook won't play this week. Alexander Mattison looks like a strong RB1 against the Falcons, assuming no further positive coronavirus results come in and the game is played as scheduled.

4. CLE - WR Odell Beckham listed as questionable

Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Michael David Smith

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. (illness) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Beckham was away from the Browns' facility for a second straight day Friday, Oct. 16, but head coach Kevin Stefanski said Beckham is feeling better and could rejoin the team when it travels to Pittsburgh Saturday.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If you have Beckham, you'll need to have a backup plan in place. We should know tomorrow whether he travels to Pittsburgh to give us clarity on Week 6 status.

5. CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey to miss two more games?

Source: ESPN.com - David Newton

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (ankle) was not activated from the Reserve/Injured list this week and 'it seems unlikely' he will be ready for Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints, according to ESPN.com's David Newton, who suggests Week 8 is a more realistic time for his return.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mike Davis teams will get at least two more weeks of his RB1 production. He very likely will end up being the most valuable waiver wire running back, if not player at any position, of the year.

6. DEN - RB Melvin Gordon absent Friday

Source: The Denver Post - Ryan O'Halloran

Denver Broncos RB Melvin Gordon (unknown) was not spotted during the early portion of the team's practice Friday, Oct. 16.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If there's a game this week, then Phillip Lindsay is looking like the best play in the Broncos backfield as Gordon was out with an illness.

Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero

New England Patriots C James Ferentz was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Oct. 16.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ferentz started at center against the Chiefs. The team could go back to Joe Thuney at center after he played the position against the Raiders.

8. CIN - WR A.J. Green not on injury report

Source: Bengals.com

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 16, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green is going to play but hopefully you dropped him in your redraft league. It would be great to see him get back to old form this year, but it looks unlikely.

9. DEN - TE Noah Fant 50-50 to play in Week 6

Source: Denver7 Sports - Troy Renck

Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant (ankle) is 'truly questionable, 50-50' for the team's Week 6 matchup with the New England Patriots, according to head coach Vic Fangio.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fant might be your best option if he can go, but that is far from a sure thing. Check back on Sunday for his status.

10. MIA - Miami's Week 6 injury report

Source: MiamiDolphins.com

Miami Dolphins DE Shaq Lawson (shoulder), TE Durham Smythe (knee) and LB Kyle Van Noy (groin) were limited in practice Friday, Oct. 16, and are listed as questionable for Week 6 against the New York Jets. S Kavon Frazier (shoulder), CB Xavien Howard (knee), CB Byron Jones (groin, Achilles), OG Solomon Kindley (foot) and WR DeVante Parker (ankle) practiced in full all week and have been removed from the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Dolphins secondary is finally healthy and that's great news if you want to play them as your defense against Joe Flacco and the Jets this week.

11. BAL - Baltimore's Week 6 injury report

Source: BaltimoreRavens.com

Baltimore Ravens DE Derek Wolfe (neck, concussion) did not practice for a second consecutive day Friday, Oct. 16, and is listed as doubtful for Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles. DB/LB Anthony Levine (abdomen) did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. WR Miles Boykin (thigh) was added to the injury report Friday and is questionable as well. CB Marcus Peters (thigh), CB Jimmy Smith (knee), OT Ronnie Stanley (shoulder), WR Chris Moore (finger, thigh) and OG Tyre Phillips (shoulder) practiced in full Friday and are also listed as questionable. DT Brandon Williams (non-injury) and LB Pernell McPhee (non-injury) did not practice Friday but are expected to play. DE Calais Campbell (non-injury) and RB Mark Ingram (non-injury) were not given practice designations Friday but are also expected to play.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Boykin was set up for a potential breakout game against the secondary that gave up a huge game to his former college teammate Chase Claypool last week. We'll monitor inactives to see if he's ready to go Sunday.

12. PIT - WR Diontae Johnson to miss Week 6

Source: The Athletic - Mark Kaboly

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (back) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 16, and has been ruled out for Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Chase Claypool is a much safer play with Johnson out and James Washington also become a viable WR3/Flex. This should also make it easier for disgruntled Juju Smith-Schuster teams to plug him into lineups this week.

13. TB - Week 6 injury report for Tampa Bay

Source: Buccaneers.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Carlton Davis (abdomen), DL Khalil Davis (ankle) and RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) were limited in practice Friday, Oct. 16, and are listed as questionable for Week 6 versus the Green Bay Packers. DL Ndamukong Suh (non-injury) and LB Jason Pierre-Paul (knee) did not practice Friday while WRs Mike Evans (ankle), S Jordan Whitehead (knee) and Scott Miller (hip, groin) were limited; all five have been removed from the injury report. LB Lavonte David (knee), WR Chris Godwin (hamstring), TE Rob Gronkowski (shoulder), RB LeSean McCoy (ankle) and WR Justin Watson (chest) practiced in full Friday and also no longer appear on the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It doesn't sound like Fournette is 100% yet, so expect Ronald Jones to continue to dominate the work in the backfield. Davis being less than 100% isn't great news as he'll face Davante Adams this week, who isn't on the injury report.

14. PIT - TE Eric Ebron not on injury report

Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Eric Ebron (hand) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 16, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ebron has a good matchup against the Browns linebackers and safeties this week and should be good to go.

15. CAR - Carolina's injury report for Week 6

Source: Panthers.com

Carolina Panthers CB Donte Jackson (toe), DT Zachariah Kerr (toe) and WR Curtis Samuel (knee) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable for Week 6 versus the Chicago Bears. CB Eli Apple (hamstring) practiced in full for a second straight day Friday, Oct. 16, and is also listed as questionable. DE Brian Burns (concussion) and WR Pharoh Cooper (neck) practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report. OG Michael Schofield (non-injury) was not given a practice designations Friday but is expected to play.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jackson has a tough assignment with Allen Robinson and the Bears up this week, so it's not a good thing to see him at less than 100%. Teddy Bridgewater had said that the team wants to get Samuel more involved, but seeing him on the injury report reduces some of the optimism around him.

16. CLE - S Ronnie Harrison could play Sunday

Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich

Cleveland Browns DB Ronnie Harrison (concussion) has a chance to clear the NFL's concussion protocol and play in Week 6, according to defensive coordinator Joe Woods.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Harrison played about a third of the snaps and notched a pick six last week, so he could improve the Browns safety situation against the Steelers this week if he gets on the field.

17. DET - RB Adrian Peterson back at practice

Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions RB Adrian Peterson (illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 16, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Peterson could be a solid play this week against a Jaguars defense that usually spends a lot of time on the field and just gave up the best games on the ground that David Johnson and Joe Mixon have had this season.

18. NYG - NY Giants' injury report for Week 6

Source: WashingtonFootball.com

New York Giants DT Dexter Lawrence (knee) and WR Darius Slayton (foot) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable for Week 6 against the Washington Football Team. LB Kyler Fackrell (ankle) and S Jabrill Peppers (ankle) were also limited in practice all week but have been removed from the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Check back Sunday morning on Slayton, who has a matchup that could yield huge numbers. He is expected to play.

19. PHI - Philadelphia's Week 6 injury report

Source: ESPN.com - Tim McManus

Philadelphia Eagles S Marcus Epps (rib), OT Lane Johnson (ankle) and LB Duke Riley (rib) did not participate in practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens. OL Matt Pryor (illness) did not practice for a second straight day Friday, Oct. 16, and has also been ruled out. WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring), WR Alshon Jeffery (foot) and CB Avonte Maddox (ankle) were limited in practice all week but have been ruled out as well. CB Darius Slay (concussion) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is listed as questionable. TE Richard Rodgers (neck), LB Shaun Bradley (illness), OG Jamon Brown (illness), DT Fletcher Cox (non-injury), C Jason Kelce (hip), DT Hassan Ridgeway (illness) and S K'Von Wallace (neck) also practiced in full Friday but no longer appear on the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The loss of Johnson is big for an Eagles offense that has been misfiring all year. The Ravens present a very touch matchup and will challenge Carson Wentz and company.

20. PIT - Week 6 injury report for Pittsburgh

Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers OG David DeCastro (abdominal) did not participate in practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 6 versus the Cleveland Browns. WR Diontae Johnson (back) did not practice Friday, Oct. 16, and has also been ruled out. QB Ben Roethlisberger (non-injury), WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), LB Marcus D. Allen (foot), FB Derek Watt (hamstring), C Maurkice Pouncey (foot), TE Eric Ebron (hand), LB T.J. Watt (shoulder) and DE Stephon Tuitt (non-injury) practiced in full Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The loss of DeCastro will affect the quality of the Steelers running game, but James Conner still belongs in lineups.

21. IND - Indianapolis' injury report for Week 6

Source: Colts.com

Indianapolis Colts TE Mo Alie-Cox (knee) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals. OT Chaz Green (back) did not practice for a second straight day Friday, Oct. 16, and has also been ruled out. LB Darius Leonard (groin) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. DE Justin Houston (hip) and RB Jordan Wilkins (calf) did not practice Friday, but are listed as questionable. DL Denico Autry (ankle, knee) and OT Anthony Castonzo (rib) practiced in full for a second straight day Friday, Oct. 16, but are also listed as questionable. S Julian Blackmon (groin), QB Jacob Eason (non-injury) and WR T.Y. Hilton (rest) did not practice Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. TE Trey Burton (rest) practiced in full for a second straight day Friday and has also been removed from the injury report.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Trey Burton is a better play with Alie-Cox out, but he still has a low ceiling with the Colts passing game stalling out under the guidance of Philip Rivers.

22. PHI - WR Alshon Jeffery to miss another game

Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (foot) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 16, but has been ruled out for Week 6.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Jeffery and Jackson out, Travis Fulgham will be a full-time outside receiver again this week.

23. CLE - QB Baker Mayfield impresses with throws

Source: BrownsZone - Scott Petrak

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield (chest) 'looked good' throwing the ball with 'zip' Friday, Oct. 16, in the portion of practice open to the media.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mayfield should be ready to play Sunday but the Steelers will test his ability to be effective under pressure when he is nursing an injury.

24. CLE - WR Jarvis Landry questionable for Week 6

Source: ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry (hip, ribs) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 16, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Landry didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but he's a gamer and should go against the Steelers on Sunday. Odell Beckham's status is up in the air too, so it could be a good Austin Hooper game.

25. NYG - WR Sterling Shepard likely out this week

Source: The Athletic - Dan Duggan

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (toe) is unlikely to return this week, according to The Athletic's Dan Duggan, who wrote that a return could be 'rule[d] out this week' before suggesting Shepard might play in Week 7 against the Eagles -- a game that takes place on Thursday, Oct. 22.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Shepard should become the most reliable short range target for Daniel Jones as soon as he is back. In deep PPR leagues go ahead and add Shepard now before news of his imminent return becomes more widespread.

26. NYJ - WR Breshad Perriman's status in question

Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets WR Breshad Perriman (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 16, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Perriman could get back this week and push Jeff Smith to the bench. He's a potential stash in deep leagues because the unheralded Smith has gotten a ton of targets while Perriman has been out.
