1. NYG - RB Saquon Barkley may have torn ACL

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter and Jordan Raanan

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (knee) left the Week 2 game early, and the Giants fear that Barkley suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to sources. The team will have an official diagnosis after Barkley undergoes tests Monday, Sept. 21.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is a huge blow not just for the Giants and fantasy teams but anyone who loves watching excellent football players. Dion Lewis will be the starter, but Wayne Gallman will get some work and the whole Giants offense takes a step back with this development heading into a tough matchup against a somewhat depleted 49ers defense.

2. GB - Hamstring injury for WR Davante Adams

Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 2 game and is considered questionable to return.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He re-entered the game briefly then was seen without his helmet. We'll watch practice reports this week to see if he's ready for Sunday night's game against New Orleans.

3. CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey scheduled for MRI

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (ankle) is scheduled to have an MRI Monday, Sept. 21 after leaving the Week 2 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The initial hope is that it isn't a serious injury.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCaffrey would face the Chargers next week if he can go. Mike Davis was very productive as a receiver after McCaffrey went out and he might have some value in PPR leagues.

4. DEN - QB Drew Lock leaves game

Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis

Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock (shoulder) left the Week 2 game early because a right shoulder injury.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Lock won't return. It will be Jeff Driskel from here on out in a blow to the value of every Broncos offensive player.

5. SF - DE Nick Bosa expected to have torn ACL

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

San Francisco 49ers DE Nick Bosa (knee) likely suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during the Week 2 game, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's a big loss for the 49ers, who have already had Dee Ford miss time because of a neck injury. They also lost Solomon Thomas to a knee injury and might be shorthanded on the defensive line heading into a matchup with the Giants.

6. LAR - Cam Akers suffers injury

Source: NFL.com

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers (rib) suffered a rib injury during the Week 2 game and is considered questionable to return.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Akers was hurt on a goal to go carry. Before the game the word was that the work would be split equally between the Rams three backs, but an Akers injury could clarify this situation a bit.

7. NE - RB James White to miss Week 2

Source: ESPN.com - Mike Reiss

New England Patriots RB James White has been declared inactive for the team's Week 2 game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

White lost his father and his mother is in critical condition after a car accident. Make sure to get him out of lineups. Our heart goes out to him and his family.

8. LAR - WR Robert Woods find end zone

Source: NFL.com

Los Angeles Rams WR Robert Woods rushed for 19 yards and one touchdown on three carries against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2. He also caught two passes for 14 yards during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Woods easy touchdown saved his fantasy day but it wasn't a strong performance. He could draw Tre'Davious White against the Bills next week and have another quiet afternoon.

9. MIN - RB Dalvin Cook finds end zone

Source: NFL.com

Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook rushed for 63 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. He also caught two passes for eight yards during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cook is being bailed out by garbage time performances, but fantasy players can not have their first round pick live on garbage time alone. He'll be a boom/bust RB2 heading into a matchup with Tennessee.

10. SF - RB Raheem Mostert injury update

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) is believed to have suffered a mild medial collateral ligament sprain during the Week 2 game. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI, which will determine how long he will be sidelined.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tevin Coleman and Jerick McKinnon will split the work while Mostert is out, and McKinnon looks like the superior back in both aspects of the game right now.

11. DEN - WR Courtland Sutton out of game

Source: DenverBroncos.com - Patrick Smyth

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (leg, knee) left the Week 2 game early because of a knee injury and leg cramping and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sutton might not be a great play against Tampa next week if Jeff Driskel is starting anyway. The Broncos are leaving Pittsburgh much more banged up than when they arrived.

12. NYG - WR Sterling Shepard out of game

Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (toe) suffered a toe injury during the Week 2 game and is questionable to return.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Shepard would face the 49ers next week if he's able to go. Evan Engram got the biggest boost after he left this week.

13. NYJ - WR Chris Hogan injures his ribs

Source: NFL.com

New York Jets WR Chris Hogan (ribs) left the Week 2 game early because of injured ribs and is considered questionable to return.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets have two healthy wide receivers - Braxton Berrios and Josh Malone. Next week against the Colts is going to be another rough one for Sam Darnold.

14. PHI - QB Carson Wentz throws two INTs

Source: NFL.com

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz went 26-for-43 for 242 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. He also rushed for seven yards and one touchdown on two carries during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wentz's interceptions were killers again as the Eagles were trying to hang in while their defense did them no favors. He'll have a must win against Cincinnati this week. If Wentz does not have a good game against the Bengals next week then he's droppable in typical leagues.

15. PHI - TE Dallas Goedert held in check

Source: NFL.com

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert caught four passes for 30 yards against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. He was targeted eight times during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Goedert was a disappointment this week, in part because Carson Wentz didn't see him wide open in the end zone on one play. This is his floor now and he should still be considered a TE1 heading into a matchup with Cincinnati.

16. IND - TE Mo Alie-Cox has breakout game

Source: NFL.com

Indianapolis Colts TE Mo Alie-Cox caught five passes for 111 yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. He was targeted six times during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Alie-Cox was a very tough customer after the catch and found a lot of room in the Vikings defense. Jack Doyle could be out next week and Alie-Cox would face the Jets defense that just gave up two scores to Jordan Reed. He shouldn't be a free agent in any fantasy leagues now.

17. LAR - TE Tyler Higbee has monster game

Source: NFL.com

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee caught five passes for 54 yards and three touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2. He was targeted five times during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Higbee was schemed open on his scores so it's always possible that he fades into the background if Sean McVay likes other parts of the playbook better against the Bills next week. This kind of weekly ceiling shows that he's still a TE1 even with the ups and downs.

18. NYJ - WR Breshad Perriman injures ankle

Source: NFL.com

New York Jets WR Breshad Perriman (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the Week 2 game and will not return.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets have none of their top four wide receivers from the open of training camp. They will face the Colts next week.

19. CAR - WR D.J. Moore hit the century mark

Source: ESPN

Carolina Panthers WR D.J. Moore racked up eight receptions for 120 yards on 13 targets in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Moore had a bounce back game and a big second half to erase the memory of a slow Week 1. He'll face the tough Chargers secondary next week but earned some trust this week.

20. LAC - QB Tyrod Taylor ruled out for game

Source: Chargers.com

Los Angeles Chargers QB Tyrod Taylor (chest) injured himself during pregame warmups before the Week 2 game against the Kansas City Chiefs and he was downgraded from questionable to out during the game. QB Justin Herbert made his first NFL start in Taylor's absence.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Judging by Herbert's performance we might not see Taylor start again this year unless Herbert gets hurt.

21. LAR - Three touchdowns for QB Jared Goff

Source: NFL.com

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff went 20-for-27 for 267 yards and three touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Everything was easy for Goff as it appears that the Eagles defense will be one of the easier draws for opponents this year. Goff is looking like a matchup play which means he should be on the bench against the Bills next week.

22. LAR - WR Cooper Kupp catches five passes

Source: NFL.com

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp caught five passes for 81 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2. He also rushed for 19 yards on two carries during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kupp had a better Week 2 but still isn't as central in the Rams passing game as he was in the first half of 2019. He's a WR3/Flex heading into a matchup with Buffalo.

23. MIA - RB Myles Gaskin leads way in rushing

Source: ESPN

Miami Dolphins RB Myles Gaskin ran seven times for a team-high 46 yards in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills and he also added six receptions for 36 yards on seven targets.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gaskin's PPR floor makes him rosterable but this is going to remain a three-back backfield, limiting his weekly ceiling. We'll get to see him Thursday night against the Jaguars.

24. MIA - WR DeVante Parker finds the end zone

Source: ESPN

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker posted five grabs for 53 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills on eight targets.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Parker made it through the game without aggravating his hamstring injury and was a solid play thanks to an early touchdown. He'll likely face rookie phenom CJ Henderson against Jacksonville Thursday night.

25. BUF - WR Stefon Diggs goes off against Miami

Source: ESPN

Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs rolled up eight receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Diggs was unstoppable against a vaunted Miami cornerback group as Josh Allen continued to show that he's going to be on another level as a passer this year. He'll be a boom/bust WR3/Flex going against Jalen Ramsey next week.

26. MIA - TE Mike Gesicki posts 130 yards, score

Source: ESPN

Miami Dolphins TE Mike Gesicki exploded for a career-high 130 receiving yards on receptions in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills. In fact, it was his first-ever 100-yard game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gesicki was a big part of the comeback effort in the second half. It's great to see the chemistry between him and Ryan Fitzpatrick heading into a matchup with the Jaguars defense that just gave up a huge game to Jonnu Smith.

27. MIN - QB Kirk Cousins struggles against Indy

Source: NFL.com

Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins went 11-for-26 for 113 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cousins was miserably bad in a dominant performance by the Colts offense. The Vikings seriously miss Stefon Diggs and should be considered one of the worst offenses and teams in the league heading into a matchup with Tennessee.

28. IND - Jonathan Taylor surpasses 100-yard mark

Source: NFL.com

Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. He also caught two passes for nine yards during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Taylor was the only show in the backfield as Nyheim Hines wasn't in the game plan against the Vikings. He'll face a stout Jets run defense that gave up a handful of huge runs to the 49ers this week while bottling up most everything else.

29. KC - RB Darrel Williams rolls ankle in Week 2

Source: Chiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs RB Darrel Williams (ankle) left the Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Chargers due to an ankle injury.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Darwin Thompson is the clear backup to Clyde Edwards-Helaire as long as Williams is out.

30. MIA - QB Ryan Fitzpatrick goes over 300 yards

Source: ESPN

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 31-of-47 passes for 328 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills and he ran for 12 yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fitzpatrick bounced back with a good performance against a tough defense and if Preston Williams hadn't dropped a 4th and goal pass he would have had a chance to win this one. He'll face the Jags on Thursday night and should be considered as a streaming quarterback.

31. SF - QB Jimmy Garoppolo has high ankle sprain

Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain during the Week 2 game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Garoppolo is almost certainly out vs. the Giants next week. Look for Nick Mullens, who was not bad as an undrafted rookie two years ago, to start. He's an auto pickup in 2QB/Superflex leagues.

32. BUF - QB Josh Allen tosses four scores in Miami

Source: SportsCenter

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen completed 24-of-35 passes for 417 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins. He is the first player in franchise history with at least 400 yards passing, four passing touchdowns and no interceptions in a single game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Allen was outstanding this week and appears to have turned the corner as a passer with game plans that feature his arm and the Bills wide receiver group. He'll be a strong QB1 heading into his toughest matchup of the year yet against the Rams.

33. IND - WR Parris Campbell questionable to return

Source: Colts.com

Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 2 game and is considered questionable to return.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Campbell was set up for a huge afternoon against the Vikings secondary, but instead Michael Pittman, who was a game-time decision, will get more play this week. Campbell clearly has talent but has had trouble staying healthy.

34. CAR - WR Robby Anderson hits triple digits again

Source: ESPN

Carolina Panthers WR Robby Anderson registered nine grabs for 109 yards and 10 targets in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Anderson's Week 1 production wasn't a mirage. He looks like a co-primary target with DJ Moore and may end up being one of the best values in fantasy drafts this year. He'll face a strong Chargers defense next week.

35. PHI - RB Miles Sanders plays well in season debut

Source: NFL.com

Philadelphia Eagles RB Miles Sanders rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. He also caught three passes for 36 yards during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sanders failed on a two point conversion and Carson Wentz scored after Sanders was stopped at the one so there was an even bigger day there despite the losing game script. He should be a top DFS play against the Bengals after the Browns running game tore them up last week.

36. IND - Disappointing performance for RB Nyheim Hines

Source: NFL.com

Indianapolis Colts RB Nyheim Hines caught one pass for four yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 and did not receive any carries.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hines was not part of the game plan in a twist that will make it difficult to start him in any games where the Colts are favored. It's hard to know why he was so central in the game plan last week and barely used this week. He's still worth a roster spot in PPR leagues, but this is certainly going to keep you from starting him against the Jets this week.

37. LAR - RB Darrell Henderson posts over 100 total yards

Source: NFL.com

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson rushed for 81 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2. He also caught two passes for 40 yards during the game.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Henderson's touchdown came during garbage time but he did have his signature burst and looked good after Cam Akers injury gave him more opportunity. He'll face a stout Bills defense next week and should be added on a lot of waiver wires this week.
