A. Footballguys DFS Power Grid Week 2
The Power Grid locks in their Daily Fantasy picks for the Week 2 Main Slate. Footballguys staffers Austin Lee, John Lee, Devin Knotts, and Phil Alexander debate Tom Brady, Kyler Murray, Ezekiel Elliott, Jonathan Taylor, Davante Adams, Corey Davis, Hunter Henry, Logan Thomas, and many more!

1. TB - WR Chris Godwin ruled out Week 2

Source: ESPN.com - Dan Graziano

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (concussion) on Saturday, Sept. 19, was ruled out for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Carolina Panthers.

We could see even more from WR Mike Evans than we normally do this week. In addition, WR Scotty Miller should get more looks with Godwin out.

2. NO - WR Michael Thomas won't play Monday

Source: ESPN.com - Dan Graziano

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (ankle) was ruled out for the Week 2 game against the Las Vegas Raiders Monday, Sept. 21.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Huge news for Fantasy GMs here. Thomas has a high-ankle sprain that could take some time to get healed properly. Emmanuel Sanders will serve as the team's no.1 receiver with Thomas out. We should see more targets for TE Jared Cook as well.

3. LVR - RB Josh Jacobs cleared for MNF

Source: Raiders.com

Las Vegas Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (ankle) practiced in full Saturday, Sept. 19, and was cleared for the Week 2 game against the New Orleans Saints Monday, Sept. 21.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jacobs is the centerpiece of what the Raiders do on offense. Fantasy GMs can look at him as a RB1 every time he's out there.

4. LVR - Henry Ruggs III questionable for Week 2

Source: Raiders.com

Las Vegas Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III (knee) was a limited participant in practice Saturday, Sept. 19, and is officially listed as questionable for the Week 2 game against the New Orleans Saints Monday, Sept. 21.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Saturday was the day to watch to see if Ruggs could get out there. The speedy rookie had a good debut in Week 1 and could do more if healthy. Consider him a 'what the heck' flex and a risky starter as he could be a game-time decision for Monday Night Football.

5. TEN - Tennessee promotes two

Source: TennesseeTitans.com - Jim Wyatt

Tennessee Titans RB Jeremy McNichols and WR Cameron Batson were promoted from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Sept. 19.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McNichols saw snaps last week against the Broncos as a reserve back for the Titans behind starter Derrick Henry. He's a good all-purpose player but we're only monitoring him in super deep dynasty formats.

6. HOU - RB C.J. Prosise promoted

Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates

Houston Texans RB C.J. Prosise was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday, Sept. 19.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Prosise can do some of the things that Duke Johnson brings to the table for the Texans. David Johnson is their starter and will get most of the workload in a tough matchup against the Ravens on Sunday.

7. DEN - Denver adds two to roster

Source: NFLCommunications.com

Denver Broncos RB LeVante Bellamy and LB Derrek Tuszka were promoted from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Sept. 19.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bellamy was undrafted out of Western Michigan this year. He's a smaller back who has a game similar to that of Broncos starter Phillip Lindsay. With Lindsay out with a toe injury, we'll see Bellamy as the no.3 running back behind Melvin Gordon and Royce Freeman.

8. CHI - RB Tarik Cohen near new deal

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen and the team are close to agreeing on a contract extension and it could get done Saturday, Sept. 19, following a week of 'fruitful discussions,' according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A fourth-round pick out of North Carolina A&T in the 2017 NFL draft, Cohen has worked well as a receiving back and change-of-pace back for the Bears. He's not in line to get huge money, so it will be interesting to see what kind of contract the team puts together.

9. CIN - WR Auden Tate may seek trade

Source: CBS Sports - Cody Benjamin

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate's agent says the wide receiver could seek a trade following his limited role (15 snaps in Week 1, healthy scratch in Week 2) in the team's first two games.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That's...interesting. Tate is a good reserve receiver and we think he could do more with a larger role. That's just not there for the Bengals this year as they are stacked at the position. We'll see what the Bengals could get for him if the 2018 seventh-round pick does push for a trade.

10. CHI - WR Allen Robinson talks gain steam

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson's contract extension talks with the team have resumed, according to sources, and while there remains a significant gap between the two sides, there is some growing momentum.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news here as Robinson recently took down all references to the Bears on his social networking pages. There was a 'significant gap' in talks according to earlier reports but that may not be the case now. Things change quickly around here, and this is positive movement in the right direction. Stay tuned.

11. ARI - TE Jordan Thomas receives promotion

Source: AZCardinals.com

Arizona Cardinals TE Jordan Thomas was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Sept. 19.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thomas is a huge target and former wide receiver we'll continue to watch in super deep dynasty formats.

12. NYJ - RB Josh Adams promoted from practice squad

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

New York Jets RB Josh Adams was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Sept. 19, according to a source.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Frank Gore is the starter for the Jets this week. Adams and Kalen Ballage are going to serve as backups to the seasoned veteran.
