1. TB - WR Mike Evans remains sidelined

Source: Tampa Bay Times - Rick Stroud

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) on Thursday, Sept. 10, did not participate in the portion of practice open to the media.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Evans is going to be a game-time decision for Week 1. We'll have to see if he practices Friday but things are not trending in the right direction for the veteran receiver. This Buccaneers/Saints matchup in Week 1 could have a ton of points scored but we are unlikely to know Evans status until perhaps right before kickoff.

2. DEN - WR Courtland Sutton gets good news

Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) is listed as day-to-day with a sprained AC joint in his shoulder after getting hurt in practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sutton is expected to be listed as questionable for Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. If he's limited or doesn't play on Monday night, Jerry Jeudy would get plenty of work.

3. DAL - WR Amari Cooper a full participant

Source: DallasCowboys.com

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cooper is good to go for Week 1. He's a WR1 for Fantasy GMs in this high-powered passing attack.

4. IND - WR T.Y. Hilton says he's good to go

Source: The Athletic - Zak Keefer

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton said Thursday, Sept. 10, that he feels as healthy as he's been since 2016 when he led the league with 1,448 receiving yards.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Going up against the Jaguars in Week 1, Fantasy GMs are expecting the Colts offense to go off. Hilton is a low-end WR2 or flex play this week. We'll see how new QB Philip Rivers meshes with Hilton, especially with his deep speed and playmaking ability.

5. DEN - WR Courtland Sutton officially limited

Source: DenverBroncos.com

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) was officially listed as limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

6. DET - Detroit cautious with WR Kenny Golladay

Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein

Detroit Lions WR Kenny Golladay (hamstring) is dealing with a hamstring issue that showed up in practice Wednesday, Sept. 9, head coach Matt Patricia said Thursday.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Keep an eye on this situation, especially on Friday's practice. Patricia added that the team will be proceed with caution with Golladay.

7. SF - WR Deebo Samuel sits again

Source: 49ers.com

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (foot) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He's unlikely to play in Week 1 of the regular season. Samuel may be back for Week 2 although it's a bit early to call that.

8. LAC - WR Mike Williams limited again

Source: Chargers.com

Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Williams is a game-time decision for the Chargers in Week 1. Fantasy GMs have other/better options out there even if Williams does try to play.

9. PHI - Jalen Reagor a full participant

Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jalen Reagor (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the rookie here. The Eagles want him to be a big part of their passing game and Reagor can make defenders look silly after the catch. Fantasy GMs got him at a discount because of this injury, so starting him as a flex play in Week 1 would make sense.

10. SF - Limited practice for Brandon Aiyuk

Source: 49ers.com

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The rookie first-round pick may actually be able to play in Week 1. Fantasy GMs should consider Aiyuk a deep flex play if he's able to get out there against the Cardinals.

11. PHI - RB Miles Sanders listed as limited

Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles RB Miles Sanders (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sanders did not suffer any setbacks upon his return on Wednesday. If he plays in Week 1 then we could see Sanders performing like a RB2 with upside. Let's see if he can practice fully on Friday.

12. PIT - OC talks up Chase Claypool

Source: ESPN - Brooke Pryor

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Chase Claypool 'is going to be involved more, earlier then you'd expect because he came (into camp) in good shape and his mind and body haven't failed him,' according to offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're excited about Claypool in dynasty formats. The big rookie is buried on the depth chart right now but he could flash at times this year. We look forward to his future in the league.

FOOTBALLGUYS PICKS

Title Text - Detail. Pitch and link.

13. BAL - OC: RB Mark Ingram is lead back

Source: NFL Network - Aditi Kinkhabwala

Baltimore Ravens RB Mark Ingram is the starter and 'leader' of the team's four-running back corps, offensive coordinator Greg Roman said Thursday, Sept. 10. Roman, though, also added that the other backs will still be involved. 'We'll definitely use three every week, sometimes four,' he said. 'As for the division of labor, or how they're deployed, Roman added 'that'll change on a week-to-week basis.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ingram is the lead back but the team will mix in rookie RB J.K. Dobbins this year as well. Against the Browns in Week 1, Ingram is a low-end RB2 while Dobbins is more of a deep flex play. We'll see how the dynamics of this tandem changes as the season rolls on.

14. MIA - WR DeVante Parker limited again

Source: MiamiDolphins.com

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Let's see if Parker can get a full practice in on Friday. He's set to be the no.1 receiver for the Dolphins this year. Miami faces New England on Sunday, and Parker would perform like a WR3 with upside if healthy.

15. CLE - WR Odell Beckham Jr. touts health

Source: Elyria Chronicle-Telegram - Scott Petrak

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. said Thursday, Sept, 10, that he's currently able to run full speed and do other things physically that he couldn't a year ago.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Browns have a tough matchup in Week 1 against the Ravens. Beckham will be featured in the passing game once again and can be a WR2 in this game.

16. PHI - Contract frustrating TE Zach Ertz

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz spoke to team beat reporters Thursday, Sept. 10 about his contract negotiations which recently broke off. 'It's been frustrating at times. It's been difficult,' said Ertz, who added he wants to remain in with the Eagles. 'I don't know for sure if that feeling is mutual.'

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

With Travis Kelce and George Kittle getting new contracts this offseason, many thought Ertz would be the next in line. He's got two years remaining on his current deal and is on the books for $12.4 million in 2020. We'll see if the Eagles are comfortable letting him play out his current deal and then move forward with Dallas Goedert as their lead tight end.

17. CHI - RB David Montgomery playing it safe

Source: NFL Network - Stacey Dales

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (groin) said Thursday, Sept. 10, he's been playing it cautious with his groin injury. 'I didn't do much in practice (Wednesday),' he said. 'I want to be safe.' Montgomery added that when the injury originally happened (Aug. 26), he feared he had 'torn something,' but there didn't turn out to be a tear.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Montgomery may be able to play in Week 1. His status for the season opener looks better as his practice status was upgraded to full. He could play but the team might limit his snap count. If Montgomery is limited we could see more from Ryan Nall with Tarik Cohen still working as a pass-catching back.

18. MIA - WR Preston Williams remains limited

Source: MiamiDolphins.com

Miami Dolphins WR Preston Williams (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Williams is feeling good but the team is careful with him since he won't be one year removed from the knee injury that ended his rookie season until November. He should play against the Patriots in Week 1, and Fantasy GMs can look to him as a deep flex option.

19. NYJ - RB Frank Gore getting Thursdays off

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets RB Frank Gore won't practice on Thursdays as they will be his veteran rest days during the season.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He will practice on Wednesdays and Fridays, the team announced Thursday, Sept. 10. Gore will get work as a banger between the tackles behind starter Le'Veon Bell.

20. CAR - TE Ian Thomas takes part in practice

Source: Panthers.com

Carolina Panthers TE Ian Thomas (toe) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the Panthers here. We are excited about their passing game, mainly D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson. However, we'll watch Thomas and consider him a TE2 with upside if healthy.

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (groin) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets WR Breshad Perriman (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's a good sign for the veteran receiver. He was experiencing knee soreness but looks like he'll be good to go for Week 1.

23. LAR - RB Darrell Henderson looking good for Week 1

Source: The Athletic - Jourdan Rodrigue

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson (hamstring) is expected to play Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, according to comments made by head coach Sean McVay on Thursday, Sept. 10.

[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
