My name is Joe Bryant and I want to tell you about why we started Footballguys twenty-three years ago.
I was thirty-four years old in 1998 and scrambling to do the best I could with a busy job, a wife, and two young children (with two more eventually on the way). Plus a dog. A big dog.
That was Bear. And that's my barn. And no, not everyone who lives in Tennessee has a barn. But we do.
I was frustrated when my fantasy football teams struggled because I no longer had time to watch ESPN twelve hours a day. Like I did before I had “responsibilities”.
Maybe you’ve been there.
Giving up my league was not an option so I searched for the tools and information I needed. And came up mostly empty.
So we set out to create the product I wanted for myself: A resource with everything I needed to win more at fantasy football in way less time.
The result was Footballguys.com. And I think we’ve pretty much hit our mark.
My friend Matthew Berry of ESPN says, “Footballguys is the best premium fantasy football only site on the planet.”
I’ll take that.
But here’s the thing. Along the way, I discovered I loved something way more than just creating the best fantasy football site on the planet.
I discovered I loved helping other people level up.
As much as I loved winning fantasy football (and I LOVE to win -- trophy pic at the bottom of this email), I learned I love helping other people win even more.
And I’m convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt, THAT’S why Footballguys has been successful. And THAT’S why we created the Season Long Pro Subscription: To help you win more at fantasy football.
Hundreds of thousands of Footballguys subscribers know it’s not necessarily the Fantasy GM with the most time or most money or even the most understanding of football that wins.
