Each week we ask 10 staff members to rank their top players at each Fanduel position. These rankings are based on what our DFS staff believe are the best players at each position with respect to total points they will receive compared to the dollars that they cost. These rankings can be used to help you round out your cash game and GPP lineups, or just provide a guideline for what the Footballguys.com staff believe are the best value-plays to target

Each Staffer was asked to rank 8 QBs, 12 RBs, 12 WRs, 8 TEs, 5 PKs, and 5 Defenses. For the purposes of calculating an average rank, if a player was not ranked by a particular staffer, they received a weight that was 1 point higher than the players they ranked. For example. if only 2 staffers ranked a particular quarterback, the other 8 staffers were weighted as giving that quarterback a '9' for average calculation purposes.

Andrew Luck tops the QB charts this week as the QB our staff feels provides the most value for cash games. Given the fact that Vegas projects the Indy-Tennessee game to be a 53 point shoot-out, it’s pretty easy to see why. The Colts are playing at home where Luck has been lights out this season. In the four home games that Indianapolis has had so far, Luck has almost 1250 yards passing, 9 TDs against just 2 Ints. On top of that, they are coming off a bye week and facing a Tennessee pass defense that has surrendered 1680 yards passing in their last five games including 12 passing TDs against just 2 Ints. Luck faced them on the road back in week seven and he hung 353 passing yards and 3 TDs with no picks on them in the 34-26 win. All signs point to another wild one and Luck will be racking up big numbers again.
As you might expect, Marcus Mariota is right behind Luck in value QBs this week. He’s 100 cheaper, and some consider him the better value. The Titans are coming off a big home win against the Packers, where Mariota had a respectable 295 passing yards and 4 TDs against a Green Bay defense that was allowing less than 250 yards per game through the air and had only given up 14 passing TDs all season to that point. Mariota faces an Indianapolis defense that has surrendered 879 passing yards and 8 passing TDs against just 1 Int in their last three games. In the week 7 shoot-out, Mariota had a respectable 232 yards passing and 2 TDs with no picks. Luck has a higher ceiling than Mariota this week, but both are great value options.
If you’re looking to save a few bucks at QB this week, consider Russell Wilson 7400 price tag. Wilson is coming off a huge win on the road against the Patriots where he racked up almost 350 yards passing, and 3 TDs with no Ints. The week before he had 282 yards against the Bills with 3 total TDs including a rushing TD. This week he faces an Eagle defense that has given up 811 passing yards and 7 passing TDs over the last three games. They have pulled in 4 Ints as well, but has just 2 Ints all season, so that shouldn’t be a concern. The Seahawks are almost a 7 point favorite this week, with Vegas projecting them to score 25 points this week. With questions surrounding the running game, look for Wilson to put the team on his shoulders and crank out the stats again this week.
Howe
Taylor has become a regular fixture at or near the top of my weekly projection model. He's again my No. 2 this week because he simply won't stop running, and running well. He's averging 42 yards over his last 3 games, and over that span he's run from inside the 10 more than any quarterback. And even if I scale back his rushing projections, he remains a top-5 value play. That's the true impact of a QB who runs consistently.
Alexander
Smith has been far from trustworthy, but before Jay Cutler's meltdown last week, Tampa allowed overall QB1 finishes to Derek Carr and Matt Ryan in their previous two games. The implied game script favors a solid game for Smith, who barely missed on at least two touchdowns to Travis Kelce last week at Carolina.
Knotts
As long as Cam Newton runs in the ball on a two point conversion in this game he will be fine. The matchup is a great one and this should be one of the highest scoring games of the week
Hindery
The Eagles defense is solid, but Wilson is finally healthy and seems to be primed for a big second half kick in an increasingly pass-happy offense.
(Mariota) Fresh off back-to-back four touchdown games and playing the weak Colts defense in a potential shootout game.
The Patriots have been surprisingly generous to opposing passers and Kaepernick should rack up a solid fantasy day trying to keep up with Brady.
Mamula
Mariota has multiple TDs in 8 out of 10 games this season.

LeVeon Bell is the most expensive RB on FanDuel this week, but he’s still one of best value-based plays at RB this week because of his matchup. Bell travels to Cleveland where the Browns are ranked 31st in team defense against the run, surrendering over 143 rushing yards a game. The Browns are also vulnerable to RBs that can catch, and last week Kennith Dixon pulled in 5 receptions for 42 yards. Imagine what Bell and the Steelers are going to do to the Browns this week?
Last week the Cardinals nearly lost to the 49ers despite being almost a 14 point favorite. David Johnson barely put a dent in the league’s worst run defense, posting just 55 rushing yards on 19 carries. But he chipped in another 46 yards on 5 receptions and had 2 TDs to give him a respectable fantasy day anyway. This week he faces a Minnesota run defense that has been struggling lately. Last week they gave up 122 rushing yards to Rob Kelly and Chris Thompson. The week before Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington hit them up for 96. The week before that Jordan Howard hung 153 rushing yards and a TD on them, and added another 49 yards receiving on Monday night. Johnson is expensive at 8300 yards and some people will fade him this week given the matchup and last week’s performance. But Johnson’s a solid play this week and can be inserted into your cash lineups with confidence.
If you’re looking to go cheap at RB this week, consider C.J. Prosise from Seattle. The Seahawks released Christine Michael this week after Prosise put up 153 yards from scrimmage against the Patriots. Thomas Rawls is back to practice, but reports are that he will be eased back into the lineup with Prosise as the feature back. Although Prosise is facing a tough Philadelphia defense this week, his ability to add stats with receptions and his 4900 price tag make him a good candidate to reach cash game value based on volume alone.
Knotts
Elliott has shown that he is matchup proof regardless of who he matches up against and is one of if not the top back in the NFL this season. Yes, the Ravens have a good run defense, but Green Bay has arguably the best run defense and that did not deter Elliott
Hindery
Though Thomas Rawls is expected to make his debut, expect Prosise to remain heavily involved. He is a mismatch in the passing game and has a lot of juice as a runner.
Howe
(Ryan Mathews) The chalk will likely be off of Mathews this week as he continues to battle for touches. But his efficiency - and the common-sense assumption that he remains the lead back when fully healthy - is enough reason to take such a cheap flier on his potential.
Mamula
(Blount) 49ers defense has allowed an astounding 180.4 rushing yards allowed/per game
(Crowell) Steelers defense will struggle without Cam Heyward
Alexander
I'm not convinvced Thomas Rawls returns to a substantial workload, even if Pete Carroll says otherwise. Prosise played well in extended action against the Patriots last week and is a threat for 4-7 catches regardless of Rawls' involvement.
I'm expecting around 60 total points in Titans at Colts. Gore has high touchdown probability and will be overlooked in tournaments as the crowd focuses on the Indianapolis and Tennessee passing games.

Antonio Brown continues to be one of the best receivers in DFS despite being one of the most expensive ones on the board. At 8900, he’ll command a big chunk of your salary cap, but he will be well worth it this week against a weak Cleveland defense. Brown was a huge factor in last week’s game against the Cowboys, pulling in 14 receptions for 154 yards and a TD. He’s had 28 receptions for 345 yards and 2 TDs over his last three games, and he’s facing a Cleveland defense ranked 27th in the league, giving up over 275 yards per game and a league-worst 25 passing TDs this season. Brown is the guy that Ben Roethlisberger looks to when he needs a play, and Brown will be a big factor in this week’s important division match.
On the cheaper side, Julian Edelman and Jordan Matthews make excellent value plays if you’re looking to save a few bucks at WR this week. Edelman is coming home this week to face a San Francisco team that he grew up watching every week. He’s one of Tom Brady’s top receivers, especially with Rob Gronkowski out and the Patriots still smarting after losing to Seattle in front of their home crowd. The 49ers gave up 133 receiving yards to Larry Fitzgerald and 101 receiving yards to Michael Floyd last week despite playing a good game against the Cardinals, and Edelman should be able to put up similar stats this week at just 6100. Jordan Matthews has quietly posted double-digit targets in his last three games, converting them into 23 receptions for 225 yards receiving and a TD. He faces a stout Seattle defense this week on the road, but he should still receive enough attention to reach value based on his 5800 price tag.
Jordy Nelson looks like a great pick as well this week. He’s reasonably priced at just 7800, but despite Green Bay’s struggles as of late, Nelson’s stats have been solid. He’s posted a receiving TD in each of his last three games and has 23 receptions for 315 receiving yards in that same span. Nelson faces a Washington defense that gave up 164 receiving yards to Stefon Diggs last week and 121 receiving yards to A.J. Green the week before. Nelson’s going to draw a lot of attention this week, especially from Josh Norman but as you can see from Diggs and Green’s performances, that shouldn’t slow him down too much.
Alexander
The crowd will be down a bit on Thomas after his two costly fumbles in a terrible matchup with Denver last week. The Carolina secondary should help him get right. The Panthers have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to wide receivers, and Thomas entered the Broncos game on a six game heater.
Haseley
Rishard Matthews has scored in five of the last six games and is quietly one of the better fantasy wide receivers in the span. The matchup against Indianapolis is a favorable one, increasing his chances of another productive game.
(Hill) This is more of a hunch, but it looks like the Chiefs are starting to utilize Hill more and more in the offense. His 10 receptions on 13 targets last week further emphasizes this. If Jeremy Maclin is out another week, Hill becomes more of a fixture in the attack against a beatable Buccaneers defense.
Hindery
Expect Edelman to pick up some extra targets if Rob Gronkowski is unable to play.
(Steve Smith) The Cowboys secondary is beat up and showed some obvious weaknesses against the Steelers. Expect Smith Sr. to take advantage this weekend.
Howe
(Antonio Brown) He's a remarkable value this week, as FanDuel's scoring doesn't benefit as much from Brown's high-catch production as other formats. Priced cheaper than he should be, Brown doesn't have the rock-solid floor he usually does, but deserves a ton of attention nonetheless.

With Rob Gronkowski out due to a punctured lung, the consensus choice for value-based TE this week is Martellus Bennett. The Patriots are angry after their home loss to the Seahawks last week, and they travel to San Francisco this week to face one of the worst defenses in the league. It’s a homecoming for Tom Brady and Julian Edelman, but Bennett is the sneaky play with Gronkowski out. At just 5200, he’s a must start in every cash game lineup this week.
If you’re looking to differentiate your lineup a bit, consider Delanie Walker (6400), Tyler Eifert (6300) or Jimmy Graham (6500) as options that won’t break the bank. Walker’s had 3 TDs in his last four games and is coming off a huge 9 catch, 124 yards and 1 TD performance against the Packers. Walker’s going to be a big target in the shoot-out against Indianapolis this week. Tyler Eifert has been on fire since his return, and he has 12 receptions for 198 yards and a TD in his last two appearances. This week he faces a Buffalo defense that gave up 103 receiving yards and 2 TDs to Jimmy Graham two weeks ago and 109 yards and a TD to Gronkowski the week before that. Speaking of Jimmy Graham, he’s become a bigger part of the Seattle passing offense, and had 4 receptions for 48 yards against the Patriots last week after that impressive game against Buffalo two weeks ago. The Eagles are a little tougher on opposing TEs, but the Seahawks are playing at home and they are a 6.5 point favorite. Look for Graham to have another solid game this week.

Matt Prater tops the PK chart this week, checking all the boxes that you want from a DFS kicker. He’s playing at home, in a dome and the Lions are almost a 7 point favorite this week against the Jaguars. He’s also priced at just 4600 making him an easy choice for the top spot.
Stephen Gostkowski is a bit more expensive at 4900, but he also makes a strong pick this week. With the Patriots facing the weak 49er defense, and a still stinging after the home loss to the Seahawks, they are going to run the score against San Francisco this week and Gostkowski should have plenty of opportunities to put up points.
Robbie Gould makes an interesting #NarrativeStreet play this week. He’s minimum priced, playing at home and the Giants are a heavy favorite to beat the visiting Chicago Bears. Gould was loved in Chicago, but the Bears launched him in the offseason to save salary cap money and he’s found a new home in New York. The Giants are playing for a playoff spot and the Bears are barely showing up. Gould will be extra motivated to show his former team mates that he’s moved on to bigger and better things.

Tampa Bay may have looked good against the Bears last week, but this week they travel to Kansas City where the Chiefs are one of the hardest teams to beat in front of their home crowd. Expect them to come after Jameis Winston a lot this week, giving the Chiefs plenty of turnover and sack points.
If you're looking to save a few bucks at Defense this week, consider the Miami Dolphins at just 4800. They are facing the Rams on the road this week, but Los Angeles has named rookie Jared Goff as their starter after having him sit on the sidelines for the first 10 weeks of the season. The Rams are struggling on offense, and put up just nine points against the Jets last week. Goff's will most likely struggle against the surging Dolphins and the extra turnovers and sack opportunities can only help with the Dolphins value-priced.
