The Draft has come and gone, and while some destinations have given us clarity on a player's likely immediate and long-term value, others have gotten murkier. Navigating your rookie drafts still involves "flying blind", but now we have more instruments to guide us.

The Bloom 100 is ranked with the following type of dynasty fantasy football league in mind:

  • Full IDP lineups including DT and CB
  • PPR, start 3 WR
  • Deep lineups and rosters

Of course, depending on your league scoring and settings, the order can change, but the tier breaks and rankings within position should be good to use across all league formats.

6. Johnathan Franklin RB GB 4 Will have chances to take hold of job if Lacy continues to be injury prone High RB2 2
7. Eddie Lacy RB GB 5 Drop to late 2nd and will share with another nice young back. Rough weekend for his value. Low RB1 4
8. Keenan Allen WR SD 9 Floyd and Alexander shouldn t be hard to overtake High WR2 3
9. Markus Wheaton WR PIT 7 Good enough to convince PIttsburgh to let Sanders walk next year Low WR2 1
10. Marcus Lattimore RB SF 8 If he hits will hit huge in this offense. Worth the wait Elite RB1 5+
11. EJ Manuel QB BUF 21 Bills have quickly assembled a set of weapons that could create a special offense around Manuel Mid QB1 5
12. Tyler Eifert TE CIN 10 Blocked for now by Gresham but should pass him in pecking order early. TE premium special Mid TE1 1
13. Montee Ball RB DEN 40 Situation looks terrific but John Fox doesn t trust rookie RBs early and he s a mediocre talent High RB2 3
14. Robert Woods WR BUF 12 Projects as immediate WR2 in uptempo offense Low WR2 2
15. Justin Hunter WR TEN 15 flashes of greatness but inconsistent much like guy he s trying to displace Low WR1 4
16. Christine Michael RB SEA 16 Will have to wait a couple of years to see what you have but it might be outstanding Elite RB1 5
17. Zac Stacy RB STL 30 I think he s the best RB on the roster in St. Louis Low RB2 2
18. Josh Boyce WR NE 32 Like his game better than Dobson. Faster and more consistent. Low WR2 2
19. Stedman Bailey WR STL 13 Rams passing game is crowded but Bailey is ultra-dependable and should rise up depth chart Low WR2 2
20. Arthur Brown LB BAL 17 Has a chance to be an instant IDP stud Elite LB1 2
21. Travis Kelce TE KC 20 Andy Reid offense a pretty good place to land Mid TE1 4
22. Geno Smith QB NYJ 11 Draft day tumble + landing with the Jets = bad news Low QB1 5
23. Kevin Minter LB ARI 29 Paris Lenon did well with the spot next to Daryl Washington LB2 1
24. Quinton Patton WR SF 19 Anquan Boldin won t be with the 49ers for long and Patton is better than AJ Jenkins WR3/Flex 2
25. Dion Jordan DE MIA 31 Likely designation of DE = very attractive IDP commodity as LB drops at least 5 spots DE1 2
26. Terrance Williams WR DAL 33 Kind of one-dimensional but has a clear path to Austin s job soon WR3/Flex 2
27. Barkevious Mingo OLB CLE 39 Could quickly become a premier pass rusher. Sack-heavy league special LB2 2
28. Ziggy Ansah DE DET 60 Have to like the Jim Washburn stamp of approval and talent next to him at DT DE1 5
29. Da Rick Rogers WR BUF 14 Almost as good as Keenan Allen on film but character scared teams off WR2 5+
30. Sio Moore LB OAK 28 Jack of all trades LB in a defense that is going to spent a lot of time on the field LB2/LB3 1
31. Jarvis Jones LB PIT 35 Steelers seemed elated ultraproductive in SEC LB2 3
32. Alec Ogletree LB STL 26 Perfect role but boom/bust risk for reasons both on and off field LB2 4
33. Marquise Goodwin WR BUF 25 Mike Wallace upside but stuck as 4th option at best. WR2 4
34. Zach Ertz TE PHI 46 Not a huge fan of his talent but potential for numbers and Chip loves him Low TE1 2
35. Tank Carradine OLB SF 27 Incredible talent but SF is stacked at OLB. Will require patience to pay dividends LB2 4
36. Kiko Alonso LB BUF 43 Sometimes reminded me of Casey Matthews but massive opportunity LB2 4
37. Corey Fuller WR DET 34 Underrated speed could become deep threat opposite Megatron. Grab if you own Broyles WR3/Flex 4
38. Aaron Dobson WR NE 68 Inconsistency scares me and I like Boyce but opportunity alone still worth late 3rd. Low WR2 3
39. Chris Harper WR SEA 44 Fits in nicely opposite Rice with Harvin in the slot. Great use of a 4th WR3/Flex 2
40. Bjoern Werner DE IND 38 DE designation makes him a safe investment as a compiler but bottom drops out if LB DE2 3
41. Andre Ellington RB ARI 18 In a terrible situation but I m finding it hard to leave behind what I loved on film RB2 3
42. Tavarres King WR DEN 23 Blocked indefinitely but should easily become #3 outside WR in Denver. Deep bench special Inj WR2 3
43. Mark Harrison WR NE 24 Lots of opportunity in New England, but needs to stay healthy and focused WR2 5+
44. Ryan Swope WR ARI 22 Concussion history scared teams and in a terrible situation WR3/Flex 4
45. Jon Bostic LB CHI 98 Didn t look as athletic as measureables to me but Bears love him to replace Urlacher LB2/LB3 2
46. Matt Barkley QB PHI 56 Intriguing fit in Shurmur/Kelly O. Sheer volume of plays could create fantasy numbers Low QB1 5+
47. Chris Gragg TE BUF 37 Highly talented in a FF friendly way but will there be enough balls to go around in Buffalo? Low TE1 4
48. Dion Sims TE MIA 61 Underused at Michigan State former Mr. Basketball should get shot since Keller on 1 yr deal Low TE1 4
49. Mike Gilleslee RB MIA 41 A lunchpail solid all-around back potential value if Lamar Miller gets hurt Inj RB2 2
50. Kerwynn Williams RB IND 86 Slot car speed back w great hands could carve out a nice role in Indy RB3/Flex 2
51. Knile Davis RB KC 54 Fumbler w durability issues and runs like a small back but rare tools RB2 5
52. Manti Te o LB SD 45 Limited upside but obvious instant opportunity LB3/LB4 1
53. Joseph Randle RB DAL 67 Nothing special backing up an injury prone back. Sell high potential in-season. Inj RB2 3

60. Quanterus Smith DE DEN 66 Natural pass rusher who projects to line up opposite Von Miller eventually. Sack heavy special DE2 5+
61. Kenny Vaccaro S NO 59 Reminds me of Polamalu. Might have to wait a year to start. S1 2
62. Kenny Stills WR NO 49 Stuck behind Morgan and Toon but could be better if he toughens up WR3/Flex 4
63. Jamie Collins DE/LB NE 77 Move him up 15 spot if he is designed as a DE. Still has upside as a rush LB LB3/LB4 2
64. Stepfan Taylor RB ARI 42 A good back but 4th out of 4 in talent on a team that hasn t been able to run lately Bench RB 2
65. Michael Mauti LB MIN 63 Opportunity is there but 3 ACL tears quite a hurdle LB2 5+
66. Jordan Reed TE WAS 76 Not nearly as dynamic as Hernandez projects as complementary target in Washington TE2 3
67. Vance McDonald TE SF 51 Hands are unreliable and will have to share with a lot of other targets Low TE1 5
68. Khaseem Greene LB CHI 71 Heir to Lance Briggs? LB3/LB4 3
69. Matt Scott QB JAX 48 Running ability gives him big FF upside and JAX QB wide open... for now Low QB1 5+
70. TJ Moe WR NE NR Fits in Welker role perfectly, but on IR until 2014 WR2 5+
71. Gavin Escobar TE DAL 80 Just not feelin it but could be a possession receiving TE extraordinaire Low TE1 4
72. Ray Graham RB HOU 47 Big fan of his talent but lots of talent at UDFA RB for Houston. Could backup Foster in 14 if he sticks Inj RB2 5+
73. Mychal Rivera TE OAK 88 Good passcatcher and TE job is wide open in Oakland Low TE1 5
74. Jake Stoneburner TE GB 73 WR like ball skills and decent speed. Possible opportunity next year if he can stick Low TE1 5+
75. Joseph Fauria TE DET NR More reliable hands than Pettigrew/Scheffler. Could be red zone specialist. Low TE1 5+5
76. DeVonte Holloman LB DAL 70 Projects as a 3-down SLB but that role limits FF upside esp. next to Lee/Carter LB3/LB4 3
77. Cierre Wood RB HOU 65 Love the fit in Houston could back up Foster in 14 if he wins 4-way UDFA RB battle Inj RB2 5+
78. Jawan Jamison RB WAS 75 Love that Shanahan took him but not a fan of his talent Inj RB2 5+
79. Rex Burkhead RB CIN 50 Love his game but won t be relevant soon and maybe not at all unless Bernard goes down Inj RB2 5+
80. Marquess Wilson WR CHI 52 2nd/3rd round talent. Teams scared bc he quit team at Wazzu WR3/Flex 5+
81. Marcus Davis WR NYJ 53 Outstanding physical specimen but inconsistent. Opp is there, but NYG cut him already WR2 5+
82. Sheldon Richardson DT NYJ 85 Could be an uberstud DT but could also be stuck in a rotation because of fit DT1 3
83. Tyler Wilson QB OAK 58 Might a formidable opponent for Flynn but like Flynn FF upside limited QB2 5+
84. Dennis Johnson RB HOU 92 Nice all-around back outplayed Knile last year. needs to work on ball security Inj RB2 4
85. Ace Sanders WR JAX 96 Upside as slot WR is limited but underrated talent. Return yardage special Bench WR 2

95. Charles Johnson WR GB 82 Major upside physically but how small school talent will translate is unknown WR3/Flex 5+
