Draft day is here! Our long wait for actual football transactions is over; speculation can now end. But before Roger Goodell announces the Titans are on the clock, we get one more chance at our best guess.
1. Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward (QB - Miami)
We have known for weeks that this pick would be Ward. The only drama left is how much of the clock the NFL uses to hype up the draft.
2. Cleveland Browns - Travis Hunter (WR / CB - Colorado)
Everything possible has been said about Hunter this predraft cycle. Opinions vary on just how good he is at wide receiver and/or cornerback. But there is no question he can be a high-level contributor at two different blue-chip positions, creating enough value to be the top position player.
3. New York Giants - Abdul Carter (Edge - Penn St.)
The Giants may be playing coy about Shedeur Sanders because they don't hold the number two pick, but if they stay at three, Carter is far and away the best player on the board.
4. New England Patriots - Will Campbell (OT - LSU)
If Campbell's arms were one inch longer, he would be an elite prospect. He was still excellent while facing multiple edge rushers who are projected to be drafted in the first round.
5. Chicago Bears - Ashton Jeanty (RB - Boise St.)
Currently, it feels more likely that Jeanty will go fifth in the draft than Jacksonville being the team to make the fifth pick. Plugged-in media members have suggested movement on the board will come at a discount relative to trades in the past. Multiple reports have Chicago coveting Jeanty, and it feels unrealistic to expect him to fall to the tenth pick.
6. Las Vegas Raiders - Armand Membou (OT - Missouri)
Right tackle is a massive need for the Raiders, and Membou is the best value on the board. He can solidify the line opposite Kolton Miller and potentially be a long-term replacement on the left side.
7. New York Jets - Tyler Warren (TE - Penn St.)
The Jets have been linked to Membou with a need at tackle, but if he is gone, Warren is next. Warren's size helps an offense build around the run game and a security blanket for Justin Fields.
8. Los Angeles Chargers - Mason Graham (DT - Michigan)
After being locked into the fifth pick in mocks for months, Graham is projected as the big slider. The Panthers badly want to move out of this pick, targeting multiple picks on Day 2. Defensive line is a significant need area for the Chargers, and Jim Harbaugh spurs the aggressive move to land his former recruit.
9. New Orleans Saints - Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT - Texas)
News broke that Trevor Penning's fifth-year option was declined the day before the draft. Following the Eagles' model of investing in tackles, Banks resets the franchise pay scale at the position.
10. Jacksonville Jaguars - Tetairoa McMillan (WR - Arizona)
Believe what you hear early and what you hear late. Early draft rumors had the Jaguars circling on McMillan, and they have resurfaced. Brian Thomas Jr. and McMillan lock a very high upside pairing in for Liam Coen at a bargain price.
11. San Francisco 49ers - Walter Nolen (DT - Ole Miss)
Nolen was another player locked into the early portion of the first mock drafts before gradually sliding. The 49ers badly need an interior disruptor with that kind of ceiling.
12. Dallas Cowboys - Grey Zabel (IOL - North Dakota St.)
Zabel is a late riser and was a Senior Bowl standout. The Cowboys would love to recreate their "Big 3" with a high-level running back, but Zack Martin's retirement creates a more pressing issue.
13. Miami Dolphins - Will Johnson (CB - Michigan)
It looks unlikely that Jalen Ramsey will be a Dolphin after the weekend. Johnson lacks Ramsey's ceiling, but his physicality creates stylistic similarities, and Stephen Ross will not mind grabbing a Michigan Man.
14. Los Angeles Rams - Colston Loveland (TE - Michigan)
The Rams tried hard to move up for Brock Bowers in the 2024 draft and accomplish the task in 2025. Loveland would be a capper on an already strong offense.
15. Atlanta Falcons - Jihaad Campbell (LB - Alabama)
Campbell gives the Falcons a versatile weapon as a centerpiece to a building defense. He can erase the deep middle while also coming up as a situational edge rusher.
16. Arizona Cardinals - Mykel Williams (EDGE - Georgia)
The Cardinals have followed the Eagles' model in building their defense, signing Josh Sweat in free agency. Part of following the Eagles' model requires grabbing a player from Georgia.
17. Cincinnati Bengals - James Pearce Jr. (EDGE - Tennessee)
Similar to the Dolphins' situation with Ramsey, the Bengals may move on from Trey Hendrickson on draft weekend. Edge is a need with Hendrickson in the fold; without him, it becomes a necessity.
18. Carolina Panthers - Jalon Walker (LB - Georgia)
The Panthers have frequently been linked to Walker at the eighth pick while also wanting to move down. Here they hit both.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Nick Emmanwori (S - South Carolina)
Todd Bowles loves to vary looks within his defense. Emmanwori's physicality and athleticism make him a Swiss Army knife capable of unlocking different looks with base personnel.
20. Denver Broncos - Emeka Egbuka (WR - Ohio St.)
The Broncos have been mentioned in trade-up rumors and are said to covet a wide receiver. Given Sean Payton's history with Ohio State players and Egbuka's skillset as a possession receiver, addressing a need, they run this card in.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers - Shedeur Sanders (QB - Colorado)
Sanders is the biggest faller leading up to the draft. The Steelers don't have the ammunition to trade up for him, but if he falls to them at 21, it could be too challenging to pass up.
22. Seattle Seahawks -Shemar Stewart (EDGE - Texas A&M)
The Seahawks have traditionally put heavy emphasis on athletic testing. No one tested better than Stewart. Edge is a need, and a minor trade back continues to build an already loaded war chest of picks.
23. Green Bay Packers - Matthew Golden (WR - Texas)
While taking an offensive player in Round 1 breaks character for the Packers, at least Golden still fills their SEC qualification. Given the uncertainty around Christian Watson, his deep ability addresses a significant need in the Packers' rotation.
24. Buffalo Bills - Jahdae Barron (CB - Texas)
Barron has been linked to the Ravens, but Brandon Beane has not been shy about moving up the board when a player he values is available. Barron's zone coverage, ball skills, and physicality make him a perfect fit in Buffalo's defensive scheme.
25. Houston Texans - Josh Simmons (OT - Ohio St.)
The Texans' offensive tackle need may be the most significant positional need of any team in the draft. If Simmons is on the board, they run the pick in.
26. Indianapolis Colts - Mike Green (EDGE - Marshall)
Tight end has been a popular mock pick for the Colts, but the team has not valued the position, and they do not lock pass catchers. Green could be the pick at 14, with him on the board after a trade back, the Colts would be happy.
27. Baltimore Ravens - Malaki Starks (S - Georgia)
A popular consensus pick that makes sense. Starks can pair long term with Kyle Hamilton, giving the Ravens a pair of young safeties with very high ceilings.
28. Detroit Lions - Maxwell Hairston (CB - Kentucky)
Hairston's elite speed complements Terrion Arnold's physical style well, allowing the Lions to flip their corners depending on opponent matchups.
29. Washington Commanders - Kenneth Grant (DT - Michigan)
The Commanders were gashed by Saquon Barkley and the Eagles' run game in the NFC Championship. NFL teams build to win their division, and Grant's run-stopping ability is a significant upgrade in the middle of the defense.
30. Minnesota Vikings - Donovan Jackson (OL - Ohio St.)
The Vikings have been vocal about upgrading their interior offensive line. Moving back allows them to recoup some capital, while Jackson should be a plug-and-play immediate starter.
31. Kansas City Chiefs - Omarion Hampton (RB - North Carolina)
Hampton could go as high as 1.12 to Dallas, but landing in Kansas City would send fantasy football into a frenzy. The Chiefs may have bigger needs, but with Isiah Pacheco coming off a rough season and a pending free agent, and Kareem Hunt, the other meaningful back entering his age-30 season, Hampton is too good to pass up.
32. Philadelphia Eagles - Nic Scourton (EDGE - Texas A&M)
The Eagles lost Josh Sweat, Brandon Graham, and Milton Williams. They've built their Super Bowl champion roster via dominant line play, and Scourton keeps the pipeline flowing.
