HOU @ NYJ
- C.J. Stroud was let down by a leaky line, which allowed eight sacks. He's not startable until Nico Collins returns, which might not be in Week 10.
- Tank Dell made some big plays downfield and should be in lineups as a WR3/Flex against Detroit.
- Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams showed flickers of their old connection. Rodgers has matchup streamer value, although it's not clear if the Week 10 opponent, Arizona, is a preferred matchup. Adams should be lineups as a WR3/Flex.
- Garrett Wilson caught two scores, including one of the plays of the year. The trust from Rodgers has to be at its highest point of the season. Wilson could deliver late first-round value after all.
NO @ CAR
- Chris Olave left with yet another scary concussion. He's out for Week 10 and likely longer.
- Taysom Hill had a rushing score and caught four balls. With Olave out, he could be even more featured in the passing game, and Hill will continue to be a top option at the goal. He's a weekly TE1 start.
- Derek Carr returned, but the passing game didn't get a boost. The offense will remain Alvin Kamara-centric. Kamara is going to get worn out at this rate, but the backup right now is fourth-stringer Jordan Mims.
- Bryce Young had one of his best games as a pro, showing more confidence throwing downfield, but it didn't create much fantasy value. The team didn't commit to him for Week 10 against the Giants in Germany. This offense will remain tough to rely on.
- Chuba Hubbard scored twice, including the game-winner, although Jonathon Brooks will return for Week 11, so it's not clear if Hubbard will be startable going forward.
- Xavier Legette scored, and he's the one Panthers wide receiver worth rostering. He had a reception wrestled away for a turnover, or he would have had an even bigger day.
- Jalen Coker was the best downfield threat for the Panthers but curiously was only in on half of the plays. Keep him on waiver wire speed dial.
WAS @ NYG
- Austin Ekeler was strong as the starter in place of Brian Robinson Jr. and should be in lineups as an RB2/Flex against Pittsburgh if Robinson is out again in Week 10. Chris Rodriguez Jr. got the carries to finish the game and looked very physical and deserving of the role. Rodriguez is back on the deep dynasty radar.
- No one other than Terry McLaurin had a good day in the Commanders' passing game (McLaurin caught two scores), but Noah Brown could be emerging as the #2 target for Jayden Daniels and should be rostered if bench size allows.
- Daniel Jones threw for two scores and ran in another in his best game of the year. He's streamable against the Panthers in Germany.
- Tyrone Tracy Jr. rallied out of concussion protocol to start in Week 10. He didn't have a ceiling game, but he needs to stay in lineups against the Panthers.
- Malik Nabers was quiet in the first half but rung up a solid PPR showing in the second. The offense isn't creating that many downfield passing opportunities, and Darius Slayton is getting some of them. Slayton was not dealt at the deadline, so Nabers' ceiling is lower than it looked it was earlier in the season.
MIA @ BUF
- Tyreek Hill was just mediocre for fantasy, which is the norm when he faces the Bills. Expect a big game against the Rams in Week 11.
- Jaylen Waddle caught a short touchdown but was otherwise quiet. He's only what-the-heck flex against the Rams, and it's reasonable to bench him for someone who has been decisively outproducing him even though Tua Tagovailoa is back.
- The offense is running through Josh Allen's arm, although there were no great plays in the passing game, even though Amari Cooper was out. Khalil Shakir is the only every-week play among the Bills receivers as of now.
- Ray Davis showed speed and toughness on his long catch and run touchdown and continues to be a preferred backup running back bench stash.
- Keon Coleman dropped a ball that turned into a redzone interception and left the game with a wrist injury. We'll keep you updated about his Week 10 status.
LAC @ CLE
- Justin Herbert hooked up with Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston on long touchdowns against busted coverages. Herbert is a high-floor QB1 going forward, and Palmer and Johnston are viable what-the-heck flexes. Cleveland will try to fix their issues in the bye week, but they continue to be a target when we set lineups.
- Jameis Winston turned back into a pumpkin and only created modest value in two of his wide receivers and only in garbage time. The Browns passing game is somewhere in between its Week 8 and 9 poles. We'll monitor any potential quarterback change to Dorian Thompson-Robinson during the bye or down the line.
- Nick Chubb found little room to run and might not be startable, although he will be ramping up to a bigger workload after the bye, so don't drop him.
NE @ TEN
- Drake Maye is getting to play hero ball, and it's going to create a high-ceiling QB1. He ran for almost 100 yards as a scrambler. If he's out there, he should be a priority add.
- Demario Douglas and Hunter Henry only had solid PPR output, but if Maye gets better as the season goes on, they could become consistent plays. Henry is a low-ceiling TE1, and Douglas should be on a roster in PPR leagues.
- Rhamondre Stevenson is back in the team's circle of trust and should be in lineups as an RB2 in an improving offense. He scored twice, including a touchdown catch to send the game to overtime on an extended play.
- Tony Pollard got his largest workload of the year by a good margin even though he was questionable and the team said he was getting beaten up under heavy workloads. He has a higher weekly ceiling but more injury risk going forward. It's reasonable to treat him as a low-ceiling flex against a tough Chargers defense if Tyjae Spears is back.
DAL @ ATL
- Dak Prescott went out with a hamstring injury and will go on injured reserve. It's not clear when he will return. Cooper Rush isn't one of the worst backups, but he isn't one of the best, either. He'll preserve some value in the passing game. There's some speculation that the team could eventually see what they have in Trey Lance before he hits free agency. Prescott isn't worth holding if you don't have an injured reserve spot.
- Rico Dowdle finally got a lead-back workload with Ezekiel Elliott inactive because he hasn't been putting in the effort off the field. Dowdle was a great fantasy play but his ceiling gets lower with Prescott's injury. He's a flex play against the Eagles in Week 10.
- CeeDee Lamb left with a shoulder injury. He hasn't been ruled out for Week 10, but obviously, even when he returns, his ceiling is lower with Prescott out. Jalen Tolbert will be the #1 if Lamb is out, but Brandin Cooks could return from injured reserve soon; the team just traded for Jonathan Mingo, and the passing game pie is shrinking. There's no pickup here. Jake Ferguson is the only fantasy asset in a Cooper Rush pass offense.
- Drake London suffered a hip/oblique injury on his touchdown catch. He's uncertain for Week 10, but it's not a long-term injury. Darnell Mooney is a must-play and produced/performed like a #1 with London out.
- Kyle Pitts was quiet because the Falcons didn't have to pass much, being in control for most of the game. Stick with him against the Saints this week.
LV @ CIN
- Gardner Minshew II was benched again. Desmond Ridder took over and could start after the bye until Aidan O'Connell is healed from his broken thumb. Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers will remain startable with any Raiders quarterback because of garbage time.
- Alexander Mattison was better than Zamir White, but White got the short touchdown. Mattison is only a desperation play on a team going nowhere.
- Joe Burrow threw five scores without Tee Higgins out there. He's still a good play against bad pass defenses, like Baltimore's this week on Thursday.
- Mike Gesicki scored twice and is the clear #2 target with Higgins out. Erick All Jr.. went down with a torn ACL (his second in two years), so Gesicki could still be a strong play even after Higgins is back. Don't expect Higgins to be back on Thursday.
- Chase Brown was the clear lead back with Zack Moss out indefinitely due to a neck injury. The team traded for Khalil Herbert, and they might not ride Brown so hard after he suffered bruised ribs. But Brown is an every-week play going forward.
DEN @ BAL
- The Broncos had made 16 straight fourth downs going in. But they failed too many times except on a Philly special Sutton to Nix touchdown pass, and Denver got blown out. Sutton and Nix were good plays, but the rest of the offense got bogged down. Expect more of the same against Kansas City.
- Javonte Williams was ordinary and could lose part of his workload to Audric Estime going forward. There's no reliable play in this backfield.
- Lamar Jackson put on a passing clinic, and Zay Flowers could not be covered. Flowers is a must-start going forward after finally putting up a week winner following some ups and downs.
- Mark Andrews was disappointing because of low passing volume in a blowout, but his ceiling should keep him in lineups for Week 10.
CHI @ ARI
- Caleb Williams and the Bears passing game had a long afternoon in the blowout loss. Williams limped off of the field on the last play. We'll be monitoring his status for Week 10 vs. New England.
- Rome Odunze had his second 100-yard game of the season and could be emerging. DJ Moore got banged up and may not be a reliable play if Williams is hurt or continues to be inconsistent. Keenan Allen has not been playing impactfully. None of the Bears' wide receivers are must-plays.
- Kyler Murray had a bad fantasy game, but only because the backfield dominated the scoring, and the game was too easy for the Cardinals. He's still a boom/bust QB1 against the Jets in Week 10. Trey McBride should bounce back, but Marvin Harrison Jr. is still prone to having a floor game no matter the game script.
JAX @ PHI
- The Jaguars followed the usual pattern of sputtering and then coming together, but not quite enough to win. Trevor Lawrence ran in two scores and could have value in 2QB/Superflex leagues with spot start value in 1QB leagues.
- Travis Etienne Jr. played less than Tank Bigsby and only a little more than D'Ernest Johnson. He's not a reliable play and isn't an essential hold in short bench leagues. This backfield is a mess for fantasy.
- Evan Engram is going to be the leading target-getter; he's an every-week play. Parker Washington is a bench stash as a high target-getter, but still not turning them into production. We know Brian Thomas Jr. will remain a boom/bust play with a peak worth chasing as a WR3/Flex.
- A.J. Brown left with a knee injury but shouldn't miss much time. There's even a chance he'll play against Dallas in Week 10. DeVonta Smith looked up to being the #1 after Brown went out with a highlight one-handed long touchdown catch.
- Saquon Barkley had one of the performances of the year, and he's peaking in any way you want to define it. He hurdled over a tackler with his back to him in a truly unbelievable scene.
- Grant Calcaterra was a viable short outlet for Jalen Hurts and could have spot start value while Brown is out for as long as it takes for Dallas Goedert to return from his hamstring injury.
LAR @ SEA
- Puka Nacua was thrown out for trying to punch a Seahawks player. Demarcus Robinson caught two scores, and Cooper Kupp had a huge PPR game, with Nacua sitting for most of the overtime game. Matthew Stafford is a high-floor QB1 when he has all three receivers.
- Geno Smith had some amazingly good and amazingly bad throws. With a shaky defense he should have a high enough ceiling to consider in good matchups after his bye.
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba was finally used as a downfield receiver and had one of the biggest wide receiver games of the season. It's going to be tough to bench him unless he has two duds in a row.
DET @ GB
- The game was played in a driving rain, and floor games from passing game pieces should be ignored. That Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jayden Reed had good games and Tucker Kraft wasn't a bust shows why they are the only clear every-week starts in these pass offenses.
- The Lions defense is improving quickly and will be an every-week play in team defense leagues.
IND @ MIN
- Joe Flacco was shut down by a very good Vikings defense. He'll start again in Week 10, but Anthony Richardson could get back on the field if Flacco doesn't improve. Only Josh Downs is a reliable play in the Colts passing game with Flacco's true mean hard to discern right now. The Vikings defense should smother the Jaguars offense in Week 10.
- Sam Darnold and the Vikings offense moved the ball all night but had trouble finishing drives in the first half. That Darnold still had a good fantasy game and threw three scores shows why he is an high-floor QB1.
- T.J. Hockenson did not get the full workload of snaps that was promised and had a mediocre fantasy game, but Josh Oliver had a good game as the most targeted tight end. That should show Hockenson's ceiling going forward. Hockenson should be in lineups against Jacksonville.
- Cam Akers was the backup to Aaron Jones and looked good. Ty Chandler can be dropped, and Akers should be added if bench size allows.
TB @ KC
- Baker Mayfield wasn't a lineup liability without his top two receivers, but he's not a must play against good defenses like San Francisco in Week 10.
- The Bucs backfield was mostly quiet with Rachaad White's touchdown saving anyone played him. No Bucs back is more than a what-the-heck flex as long as all three are playing.
- Jalen McMillan was out with a hamstring injury. Sterling Shepard was a modest success as a flex, but it's arguable that no Bucs wide receiver is worth carrying in short bench leagues, and certainly none are reliable plays.
- Cade Otton was again the clear #1 target and he might be the most valuable tight end in fantasy until Evans returns.
- DeAndre Hopkins was fully integrated into the Chiefs offense and notched catches in many ways. He was beating zone and man coverage and had a big play on a Patrick Mahomes II prayer. He also scored twice. Hopkins is a must-play against the Broncos and probably for the rest of the season.
- Patrick Mahomes II finally had a good fantasy game. Whether it was because of Hopkins coming aboard or the poor Bucs pass defense is yet to be seen, but there's hope of him being an every-week QB1 before the season is over.
- Travis Kelce is still getting all of the targets he can handle. He's on track to pay off in PPR leagues.
