Fantasy football leagues are won on the waiver wire. Our waiver wire tools at Footballguys make it easy.
Every week, our Sigmund Bloom writes about every trending player in the NFL, moving players up and down based on what we’ve seen. For players mostly available in fantasy football leagues, he’ll provide an estimated amount of FAAB to bid on the waiver wire.
These waiver wire tips are essential in winning your fantasy football league. In this article, we’ll highlight a handful of noteworthy players. But for deeper leagues and more waiver wire additions, check out our full Upgrade and Downgrades feature.

Waiver Wire Quarterbacks
QB Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets (bid 5-10%)
Rodgers posted his first 300-yard passing game of the season and could be a viable streamer in Week 15 against the Jaguars. Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams are both playing well, and the Jets continue to keep the running backs involved in the passing game with good results. Rodgers will be outdoors in New Jersey and Buffalo in Weeks 16 and 17, so it's unclear what his value will be after Week 15.
Waiver Wire Running Backs
RB Tank Bigsby, Jacksonville Jaguars (bid 50-100%)
Bigsby got 18 carries to Travis Etienne Jr.'s 4, and he scored their only touchdown. The Jaguars have three very winnable games left against the Jets, Raiders, and Titans. Bigsby has the look of a strong flex play and adequate RB2.
RB Sincere McCormick, Las Vegas (bid 50-100%)
McCormick played over 60% of the snaps and got a lead-back workload against the Bucs. More importantly, he looked good doing it and got two goal-to-go carries before Aidan O'Connell scored on a quarterback sneak. McCormick should be the lead back against a not-too-imposing schedule of Atlanta, Jacksonville, and New Orleans in the fantasy playoffs and deserves flex consideration.
RB Isaiah Davis, New York Jets (bid 25-50%)
Davis got almost the exact same number of touches and snaps as Braelon Allen, so we have a committee on our hands until Breece Hall is back, which might not be until next season. Davis scored for the second straight week and should be a what-the-heck flex along with Allen against the Jaguars.
RB Patrick Taylor Jr., San Francisco (bid 25-50%)
Isaac Guerendo left with a foot injury, which is usually not good. The 49ers play on Thursday, which is definitely not good for Guerendo's chances of playing in Week 15. He'll be the clear lead back with Ke'Shawn Vaughn as the backup, although we should also monitor news about Israel Abanikanda's ability to contribute this week since he is a natural fit in the Shanahan running game. Taylor is the pickup, but this could continue to be a fluid situation since the 49ers are down to their fourth-string running back.
Waiver Wire Wide Receivers
WR Joshua Palmer, Los Angeles Chargers (bid 25-50%)
Palmer had his best yardage and catch totals of the season with Ladd McConkey sitting, and if he had run a little straighter or Justin Herbert had thrown not quite as far on a successful double move, Palmer would put a lot of fantasy teams over the top with a 25+ point performance. He's worth a what-the-heck flex look against the Bucs whether McConkey is back or not.
WR Tim Patrick, Detroit Lions (bid 20-40%)
Patrick scored twice and caught four other passes against the Packers to be one of the surprise hits of Week 14. He'll remain on the field about 2/3 of the time and have enough opportunity to be a flex play against the Bills in what could be (should be) the highest-scoring game of the week.
Waiver Wire Tight Ends
TE Hunter Henry, New England Patriots (bid 25-50%)
If Henry was dropped in a bye-week crunch, he should be added as a high-floor TE1. The Patriots will likely be a pass-first offense down the stretch against Arizona, Buffalo, and the Chargers.
