Quarterbacks
Geno Smith, Seattle
Geno Smith is dealing to begin the season. He ranks third in passing yards per game (262.3) and is playing in by far the better fantasy game on this two-game slate. He projects to keep slinging it in this one to keep pace with the Lions in Detroit. The Lions defense is solid but nothing to stay away from. They rank 13th in Dropback EPA Allowed.
Jared Goff, Detroit
The Lions' offensive environment is a strong one to bet on. They ranked fifth in EPA per Play last season and Jared Goff has been solid to begin 2024 as he ranks tenth in passing yards per game (241). Goff is at home in by far the better fantasy game on this two-game slate. But the matchup is a tough one as Mike Macdonald's defense has come to play to begin the season. The Seahawks rank third in EPA/Play Allowed and second in Dropback EPA Allowed.
Tyler Huntley, Miami
Tyler Huntley has dual-threat ability. He's run for 509 yards and 3 touchdowns in his short career. And he now gets the reigns to Mike McDaniels' offense surrounded by Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De'Von Achane. Huntley is a fun tournament play at home against an average Titans defense that ranks 15th in both EPA/Play Allowed and Dropback EPA Allowed. This defense just lost starting cornerback Chidobe Awuzie to injury as well.
