When I look at matchups for this week, these are the matchups that look MOST FAVORABLE from a tackling perspective (with some notes if the matchup is particularly unfavorable for run vs pass):
- SAN FRANCISCO (vs Detroit) – Lions offense generates 55.4 tackle opps/game (30 rush/23 pass)
- DALLAS (at Philadelphia) – Eagles offense generates 54.9 tackle opps/game (34.5 rush/17.5 pass)
- ATLANTA (at Washington) – Commanders offense generates 54.9 tackle opps/game (31 rush/21 pass)
- CAROLINA (at Tampa Bay) – Cowboys offense generates 53.3 tackles opps/game (27 rush/24 pass)
- PITTSBURGH (vs Kansas City) – Chiefs offense generates 53.2 tackle opps/game (26.5 rush/24 pass)
- CLEVELAND (vs Miami) – Dolphins offense generates 52.9 tackle opps/game (26 rush/24 pass)
In contrast, these matchups look LEAST FAVORABLE from a tackling perspective (with some notes if the matchup is particularly unfavorable for run vs pass):
