IDP Dynasty Sleepers: Week 18

Dynasty Sleepers examines an array of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs you should target. Depending on the makeup of your leagues, these players could be trade targets or solid grab-and-stash types who might be found on the waiver wire.

Dynasty Sleepers: LB Swayze Bozeman and Cam Jones, Kansas City

Aside from Nick Bolton and Drue Tranquill, can anyone name linebackers of value on the Chiefs?  Leo Chenel is there, but he's a glue guy who doesn't really offer fantasy value. Swayze Bozeman (gotta love that name) and Cam Jones are there but have gotten no run this season until last week.  With the Chiefs reportedly resting bigger names this coming weekend, we may get a glimpse of what these guys can do.  If they're impressive, they may be worthy of rostering in larger formats.

Dynasty Sleeper: LB David Long Jr, Tennessee

The Titans have rotated a metric ton's worth of linebackers through their lineup over the past couple of months.  Long has talent, yet somehow got lost in the shuffle.  At 28, he's not a spring chicken, but he's the kind of linebacker who could provide a solid floor in terms of tackles if he landed on a different squad in 2025.  You can likely get him for free and hold on your roster until declaration time in case he lands somewhere he could start.

Dynasty Sleeper: LB Jacob Hummel, LA Rams

The Rams squeezed what they could out of Christian Rozeboom and Omar Speights came on well at the end of the season, but do you think they're married to either guy coming into 2025?  They might be, but if you're in a larger league, why not add a guy like Hummel, who may have a chance to start next season if he impresses over the summer?  

Dynasty Sleeper: DL K'Lavon Chaisson, Las Vegas

We touched on Chaisson a few weeks back. Yes, he could be competing with Malcolm Koonce for playing time in 2025 and beyond, but it bears mentioning that Chaisson wrapped up the season on a hot streak.  He had four sacks, two pass breakups, and a total of 17 tackles in the last five games of the season.  If he gets the starting nod across from Maxx Crosby, he will certainly come into the 2025 season as a sleeper.
