Our Week 1 streaming options had some big hits as well as misses. The Vikings proved that the Giants' offensive line is still in disarray and should be attacked with streamers weekly. Outside of that, the streamers faired on the side of misses. If it taught us anything, Week 1 is tough to stream. Depth charts seem set, but guys who we did not expect to have large roles did.
Now that we have looked at these depth charts, we have a better idea of what to expect in Week 2. Here are your Week 2 IDL and Edge streaming options.
IDL and Edge Streaming Options
IDL Streaming Option, Arik Armstead, Jacksonville
Matchup: Cleveland - Ranked 6th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Armstead was one of my sleeper targets all off-season. This was because the Edge duo in Jacksonville will force quarterbacks to step up in the pocket with heat off the edge. It already happened in Week 1:

After a strong beginning of his career in San Francisco, he moved south to Florida to join the Jaguars. They needed help on the interior desperately. With Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen, he was a perfect fit. Armstead was instantly impactful, providing a sack in his first game with his new team.
The Jaguars square off against the Browns in Week 2. Though the unit is rather strong, especially in run defense, the Cowboys made the Browns look like the Little Giants in Week 1. The Cowboys are an elite pass-rushing group, but so are the Jaguars. The Offense looks lost behind Deshaun Watson for the Browns. I expect a similar outcome in Week 2 for Arstead making him a great IDL streaming option.
IDL Streaming Option, Braden Fiske, LA Rams
Matchup: Arizona - Ranked 26th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
I raved about the potential of this Rams defensive line all off-season. The combination of Fiske, Jared Verse, Byron Young, and Kobie Turner is not only potent but young as well. Fiske and Verse had fantastic debuts. We will talk about Verse later. Fiske had five total tackles and a pressure in Week 1 showing a strong tackle floor in the middle of the Rams defense.
He gets to attack the pillow-soft Cardinals offensive line in Week 2. The Cardinals allowed four sacks in Week 1 to the Bills. James Conner proved to be his unelusive self as well. These are two contributing factors as to why the rookie is a strong streaming option in Week 2.
Edge Streaming Option, Clelin Ferrell, Washington
Matchup: NY Giants - Ranked 27th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Ferrell started his career as a bust after being selected with the 4th overall pick in the 2019 draft. He has not lived up to his draft capital, though he has found a way to be a rotational contributor at a few stops along the way to Washington. Ferrell now finds himself as a starting Edge defender and played 55% of the team's defensive snaps in Week 1, coming away with two tackles and a sack.
The New York football Giants are bad...very bad. The offensive line is like a slice of Swiss cheese with holes everywhere and Daniel Jones looks like a pirate without a compass, absolutely lost. The Giants allowed six sacks in Week 1. The Commanders will look to put plenty of pressure on Jones, making Ferrell a solid Week 2 streaming option.
Edge Streaming Option, Jared Verse, LA Rams
Matchup: Arizona - Ranked 26th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Verse was my top overall rookie edge defender in the 2024 draft class. He did not waste any time. In his first game in the NFL, the rookie posted four tackles, a sack, and six pressures. He looked like a seasoned vet with great burst and hand fighting against Taylor Decker. Watch him dominate here with a tight end chip as well:

The Rams are facing the Cardinals as mentioned earlier. Kyler Murray sambled plenty in Week 1 which should allow Verse the opportunity for extended play sacks. If Verse is still on your bench, he probably should not be. He has one more week as a steaming option, from there he will likely be a weekly starter.
