An easy way to gain an edge over your competition is to take advantage of the differences in the pre-draft automatic player rankings across the sites. There is a natural tendency for most drafters to be heavily influenced by the pre-draft rankings they see when they enter the CBS draft room. In today's article, we will compare the CBS ADP to the Footballguys Consensus to identify which players we could potentially steal later in CBS drafts than on a different platform.
Stealing these players is how you beat CBS Fantasy Football.
ADP Values on CBS
The ten players are drafted significantly later on CBS than on other sites. This allows you to get extreme draft value if others in your league stick too closely to the CBS automated rankings.
Players to Target on CBS
RB Rhamondre Stevenson, New England
In a recent article highlighting Patriots sleepers, Jason Wood noted Stevenson as an underrated fantasy option this season: "The team rewarded Stevenson with a massive extension, signaling that he'll be a fixture of the offense for the next few seasons. While the roster will limit his opportunities, his volume as a receiver will make him a fringe RB1."
WR Keenan Allen, Chicago

The CBS ADP (86th overall) makes Allen a fantastic target who will likely fall at least a round further into CBS drafts than drafts on other platforms. Allen is 32 years old but coming off of one of the most productive seasons of his career.
WR Terry McLaurin, Washington
McLaurin has posted four straight seasons with at least 77 catches and 1,000 receiving yards. His floor is incredibly high for a player whose CBS ADP is down at 79th overall. In addition to his safety, take into account his upside in 2024. The Commanders will have an entirely new offensive system under new offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury and added exciting rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Players Going Earlier on CBS
If you want any of the ten players listed below, you will likely have to draft them earlier on CBS than on most other sites.
Late-Round CBS Values
In addition to the potential value options going early in your draft, here are ten players going late in CBS drafts that are more highly valued in the Footballguys Consensus.
Brandin Cooks is going 193rd overall on CBS, which is why we write these articles. You should aggressively target him three rounds ahead of his current ADP in your CBS drafts and walk away with a steal. Cooks came on strong in the second half of last season and will have relatively little competition for targets as the clear WR2 in Dallas. If the holdout of CeeDee Lamb drags into the regular season, Cooks could have an even more significant upside.
Joshua Palmer is the top outside wide receiver for the Chargers. While some are worried about the new offensive scheme, the offense will still be led by a talented and prolific young quarterback in Justin Herbert. You should not be able to land one of Herbert's top two targets anywhere near 179th overall in a rational market. Take advantage.
Rashid Shaheed is the undisputed WR2 in New Orleans. He has averaged 11.1 yards per target during his two-year career and saw his targets increase from 32 as a rookie to 75 in his second season. If he gets another bump in targets in Year 3, Shaheed could emerge as a solid fantasy starter.
