The preseason is almost over, so we are about to start seeing games that will count. More importantly, new Dynasty players are beginning startups, and the casuals are just waking up to the NFL. Let’s take advantage of that.

After the tier listing, you'll see top wide receiver options to target if you're rebuilding or trying to win in 2024.
Tier 1 Dynasty Rankings: The Elite Wide Receivers
1. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati
2. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas
3. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota
4. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit
5. Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona
There is very little debate about who belongs in the Top-3, but the order is a toss-up. I prefer Chase first because the Bengals have very few questions, CeeDee has a QB but nobody has a contract, and then the Vikings might be terrible. Amon-Ra St. Brown is an Elite-Power Slot but gets the slight bump down due to that specific label and Jared Goff. Some will think that having Marvin Harrison Jr. this high so soon is bold, but I would tell them that wide receivers have the best hit rates among skill positions when drafted in the first round. It’s even better when you consider Top-10 value. Keep in mind that there isn’t much to debate with the Top-4 since I consider them all studs. I just get paid the medium bucks to rank them, so liberties must be taken.
Tier 2 Dynasty Rankings: Nearly Elite
6. Garrett Wilson, NY Jets
7. A.J. Brown, Philidelphia
I’ve only recently come to Fantasy Football Jesus on the real possibility that Aaron Rodgers could suck and is way too dusty to count beyond year to year. Moreover, the Jets have been a major disappointment to us all for my entire 32 years of life. Garrett Wilson is still an elite-level talent. A.J. Brown is also very talented but the oldest of the bunch.
Tier 3 Dynasty Rankings: Great Players With Not-So-Great Situations
8. Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco
9. Drake London, Atlanta
10. Puka Nacua, LA Rams
11. Nico Collins, Houston
12. Malik Nabers, NY Giants
13. Chris Olave, New Orleans
Every player listed is an absolute talent but is either in a crowded situation or their quarterback is a garbage can with arms. Puka Nacua is the slight exception, but all my worries with Garrett Wilson apply here. And Nacua isn’t the individual talent Wilson is. Moreover, Kupp will still earn targets, and the drumbeat for Jordan Whittington grows stronger. Nacua is a great player, but we might have already witnessed his ceiling.
Tier 4 Dynasty Rankings: Last Chance WR1 Upside
14. Tyreek Hill, Miami
15. Michael Pittman Jr, Indianapolis
16. DeVonta Smith, Philidelphia
17. Jaylen Waddle, Miami
18. Rome Odunze, Chicago
19. Tank Dell, Houston
20. DJ Moore, Chicago
21. Zay Flowers, Baltimore
If you’re one of the folks who do the exact opposite of the advice I give on the dynasty show and fade wide receivers, this is your last chance to get one with true WR1 upside from week to week that isn’t over their age curve. Rome Odunze and Tank Dell might not stay in this tier long before making the jump.
Tier 5 Dynasty Rankings: Boom/Bust Players
22. George Pickens, Pittsburgh
23. Tee Higgins. Cincinnati
24. Davante Adams, Las Vegas
25. DK Metcalf, Seattle
26. Brian Thomas Jr. Jacksonville
27. Rashee Rice, Kansas City
28. Deebo Samuel Sr., San Francisco
29. Xavier Worthy, Kansas City
30. Jayden Reed, Green Bay
Everyone in this tier is just as likely to give you a goose egg as much as they’ll give you a hattrick. What differentiates them is that the young ones have a chance to leap up, but the Deebos and Davantes are probably on their last dynasty legs as elite producers.
Tier 6 Dynasty Rankings: Sexy Flexies
31. Ladd McConkey, LA Chargers
32. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle
33. Jordan Addison, Minnesota
34. Terry McLaurin, Washington
35. Diontae Johnson, Carolina
36. Ricky Pearsall, San Francisco
37. Adonai Mitchell, Indianapolis
These are absolute smash Flex plays, with some being discounted by situational factors. Assets like Ricky Pearsall are better sells that you can buy for cheaper later because his production may be slower to come than we think. Diontae Johnson is a slam dunk at cost.
Tier 7 Dynasty Rankings: Old Reliables
38. Cooper Kupp, LA Rams
39. Mike Evans, Tampa Bay
40. Stefon Diggs, Houston
41. Amari Cooper, Cleveland
42. Calvin Ridley, Tennessee
The name says it all. These pieces are great if they’re cheap but you should be looking to move off these pieces ASAP. I know they can still be productive, but the age curve is a very real thing.
Tier 8 Dynasty Rankings: Solid Bets
43. Romeo Doubs, Green Bay
44. Keenan Allen, LA Chargers
45. Keon Coleman, Buffalo
46. Christian Kirk, Jacksonville
47. Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay
48. Marquise Brown, Kansas City
49. Dontayvion Wicks, Green Bay
50. Josh Downs, Indianapolis
51. Khalil Shakir, Buffalo
52. Jameson Williams, Detroit
53. Demario Douglas, New England
54. Xavier Legette, Carolina
There are many reasons to dislike many of the assets in this tier, but those negatives are mostly built into their price. This means you should be rostering these players because of the upside alone.
