Contract Terms
The Philadelphia Eagles and former Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker reached an agreement on a one-year, $4.69 million fully guaranteed deal, agent Jimmy Gould told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday. Philadelphia will pay only $1.2 million of Parker's deal, with New England paying the rest.

Fantasy Football Impact
The Patriots released Parker on Monday after signing him to a new three-year deal worth up to $33 million in July.
Parker, 31, finished with 33 receptions for 394 yards and no touchdown catches last season.
Originally selected by the Dolphins in the first round of the 2015 draft, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Parker played the first seven years of his career in Miami. The Patriots acquired him in exchange for a third-round pick in April 2022.
He has 402 receptions for 5,660 yards and 27 touchdowns in his career. His most impressive numbers? Parker has four drops in his last 102 targets and only 22 on 686 career targets.
In Philadelphia, Parker will join a receiving corps headlined by A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith in an offense that will also feature newly signed running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Dallas Goedert.
The Eagles' top three WR3 options from the 2023 season -- Julio Jones, Quez Watkins, and Olamide Zaccheaus -- are free agents.
One issue, as NBCSports Philadelphia's Dave Zangaro notes, is that Parker doesn't appear to be an easy plug-and-play guy in the slot.
According to Pro Football Focus, last season, Parker played 496 snaps wide and just 80 in the slot. While Parker has played some inside during his career, he has predominantly been an outside receiver. Of course, both Brown and Smith can play inside, too.
In addition, as WIP Radio's Eliot Shorr-Parks pointed out, the Eagles really like speed from their WR3 spot and have needed a better option to complement Brown and Smith.
NBC's Reuben Frank wrote, "It's a no-risk move with no downside. I don't know if he'll even make the team. If not, nothing lost. If he does, then you got a cheap extra wide receiver."
Parker has been a free-square play in early best-ball drafts. He's going as WR153 on Underdog. Will the price rise? It can't go any lower, but look for Parker to be a potential waiver-wire pickup to monitor when the season begins.
The Fantasy Football Fallout
The fallout here is minimal. For Philadelphia, Brown, Smith, and Goedert will remain the top downfield threats -- although Smith could benefit from additional work in the slot with Parker on the outside.
Barkley will soak up the running back targets.
Jalen Hurts will remain a high-ceiling passer with great rushing equity. Their respective values remain unchanged.
There's not much fallout in New England, either. This appears to impact one player: Parker.
