Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars, Round One, Pick 23
Brian Thomas Jr. was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 23rd pick of round one, according to Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Football Impact for Brian Thomas Jr. Jacksonville Jaguars
The fantasy football impact Thomas has in Jacksonville is dramatic. He immediately slots in as the new wide receiver one for Trevor Lawrence, who much needed this weapon, with Calvin Ridley out of the picture for Jacksonville. He is a big, fast, athletic wide receiver who could develop into a future star in the NFL with his physical capabilities. As long as he can develop well, he could make a massive impact not just for fantasy football but also for the Jaguars, starting as soon as this season.
The Fantasy Football Fallout
Trevor Lawrence does get a nod of confidence from me here due to this pick. Jacksonville has made it clear with additions that they want to be able to pass the ball at a high level and have Trevor Lawrence be the center of it all. While many doubt Lawrence, he could silence many this year if Jacksonville cut the chains loose and decided to go pass happy. This also is a positive move for Travis Etienne, adding a wide receiver opens up the offense and forces defenses to put less attention into the run game, giving Etienne easy run lanes. This move is a death sentence to any hope we have had for Gabe Davis, who works in similar areas of the field as Thomas.

Overview
Overall, Jacksonville was one of the teams we were all looking at to make a splash at wide receiver, and they did it with Brian Thomas. This should be extremely exciting for fantasy football.
