Quarterback
Jordan Love, Green Bay (at Detroit) **Thanksgiving**
Love is coming off his first 300-yard passing game, and he will likely need another one to hang with Jared Goff and the Lions. The Lions defense has been generous as of late and should help create conditions conducive to a shootout. The Packers will be without Dontayvion Wicks and Luke Musgrave, but fellow rookies Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft look up to the task of replacing them in the passing game.
Desmond Ridder, Atlanta (vs New Orleans)
It might shock you to read this, but Ridder was on a string of three straight quality fantasy games before he got benched. Look it up. Ridder scored as a runner in relief of Taylor Heinicke (and correctly held the ball in his sideline hand, unlike earlier this season), and the Saints defense will be without Marshon Lattimore, which should help Drake London and the downfield passing game.
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay (at Indianapolis)
Mayfield will once again shoulder most of the offense with Rachaad White still stuck in neutral and the Colts run defense tough to budge. The Colts secondary has been picked on for multiple passing scores by Trevor Lawrence (twice), C.J. Stroud, and Derek Carr. Matthew Stafford threw for over 300 and a score, and Lamar Jackson ran for over 100 and two scores. The other quarterbacks they’ve faced were Ryan Tannehill, P.J. Walker, Bryce Young, and Mac Jones.
Gardner Minshew, Indianapolis (vs Tampa Bay)
The Colts will probably want Jonathan Taylor to handle the ball 25-30 times in this game, but when he’s not toting the rock, Minshew should be able to find open receivers against a vulnerable Bucs secondary that just gave up a perfect passing game. The only quarterbacks who didn’t account for multiple scores against the Bucs were Will Levis and Desmond Ridder, and Ridder still ran for one and threw for 250 yards.
