Dynasty rookie drafts and the waiver wire are optimal environments to find running value for future lineup upside. The NFL Draft has shifted values for rookies and veterans alike at the position to offer opportunities in trading on the inexpensive range of the position. Here are the notable profiles and price points to target in the trade market.

Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons
Price Range: RB45-50
Why: Bijan Robinson took all the dynasty air out of Tyler Allgeier's balloon, with the Falcons drafting the stud prospect at 1.08 in this year's draft. Robinson becomes the offense's focal point, but Allgeier was a quality (and well-rounded) prospect and on the success track after a promising rookie season. At a minimum, Allgeier is one of the better injury-away options for the clarified role he would have if Robinson were to miss time as he has a profile of past production. Once rookie drafts venture into Round 3, trading the pick for Allgeier is in line with the market but a worthwhile move to optimize the roster spot.
Tank Bigsby, Jacksonville Jaguars
Price Range: RB40-45
Why: In most draft classes, there is a glaring running back on Day 2 who falls in rookie drafts. This year it is Tank Bigsby. Landing behind Travis Etienne points to a blocked situation for Bigsby in the near term, but landing in a clarified RB2 situation a la Alexander Mattison with Dalvin Cook has long-term appeal to be an injury away from auto-start status. Bigsby is going a half, or even a full round, later than Kendre Miller, who has a similar profile and pedigree. Bigsby is regularly available in the mid-to-late second of 1QB rookie drafts and sometimes drifts to the third round.
Our Jeff Bell has Bigsby in the 'Wildcard' category of his rookie draft tiers.
