Sunday Morning Update
Sunday Morning Update: 12:00 PM EST
There are going to be a number of people who punt multiple positions such as going with a Rashod Bateman, Mecole Hardman, or Odell Beckham paired with Jameson Williams and Detroit's defense to get to Christian McCaffrey. That just seems like it is too much to give up for one player facing off against statistically the league's best run defense.
One update: I'm downgrading Travis Kelce to George Kittle in order to upgrade Zay Flowers to Rashee Rice. The reason for this is just the matchups are better for the Rice/Kittle combination which should get me to a higher floor than the Kelce/Flowers. Trent McDuffie is going to potentially be an issue for Flowers while Rice should have a much easier matchup against Marlon Humphrey coming off of injury. Kelce will be matched up against Kyle Hamilton while Kittle will get to face off against Detroit who have the worst pass defense in the NFL over the last five weeks. In order to do this, I had to come off of either Jameson Williams or Baltimore defense, and the reality is that the difference between Williams and Bateman is small. Both former first-round picks who have not panned out so far throughout their career. Rice should have more of a guaranteed role than Flowers, while Kittle and Kelce are mostly a wash out as they're projected to score within 0.3 points of my projections.

Week 20 Recap
Week 20 looked bleak after Lamar Jackson’s 36.08 performance on Saturday, but the lineup did just enough to cash finishing between 35-40% of all lineups. While most of the roster was fairly highly rostered, we missed some of the key landmines that killed lineups such as Chris Godwin (25% rostered), Rashee Rice (40% rostered), and James Cook (57% rostered).
Total points scored-
- QB Jared Goff, DET, $7,600- 20.08
- RB Devin Singletary, HOU, $6,400- 9.5
- RB Rachaad White, TB, $6,700- 17.1
- WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET, $9,200- 17.7
- WR Mike Evans, TB, $7,600- 24.7
- WR Jameson Williams, DET, $5,300-4.5
- TE Isaiah Likely, BAL, $5,500- 10.4
- Flex RB Aaron Jones, GB, $7,400- 15.1
- TD Baltimore, $4,300- 7.0
Injuries Create Opportunity:
- Deebo Samuel is likely going to play this week barring a setback over the weekend. After looking as if he could miss significant time because of a shoulder injury, Samuel was cleared to play on Friday. This is a significant increase to the expectations of the 49ers offense this week, although it does hurt Jauan Jennings as he likely will not have much of a role this week.
- Frank Ragnow will play this week for Detroit. The center is amongst the league’s-best and should have a significant increase to the Lions chances of winning this game.
- Joe Thuney will not play for Kansas City. The All-Pro guard was ruled out with a pectoral injury on Friday. Losing a guard is a significant loss, but especially one that is of Thuney’s caliber facing off against Baltimore.
- Isiah Pacheco is questionable with a knee an ankle injury. He’s been dealing with injuries all season, so he should be fine, but if he were to miss Clyde Edwards-Helaire would step into a significantly increased role and likely make his way into a high number of DFS lineups this week.
