Injury Rounds
Josh Allen | Right elbow injury | Awaiting information | Questionable Week 10
Allen was hit by a pass rusher and injured his throwing elbow. He remained in the game late in the fourth quarter but was seen shaking his throwing hand at times.
After the game, Allen told reporters he had "slight pain" but "will get through it." Video replays suggest a sprain of a ligament around the elbow joint. These injuries don't always lead to missed time for quarterbacks but expect Allen to deal with stiffness and soreness that will affect his downfield velocity and accuracy. If the nerve injury (contusion or stretching) that led to Allen's elbow/forearm/hand discomfort does not improve quickly, his recovery may be even more complicated.
Consider Allen to the probable side of questionable for now, but Monday's evaluations will better define his short and long-term status.
Monday update: Sean McDermott said the Bills were still evaluating the extent of Allen's injuries. Chris Mortenson tweeted Allen suffered an injury to his "ulnar collateral ligament and related nerves." Although Allen finished the game, the need for more evaluation suggests specialist visits and further discussion of treatment planning. He's now trending questionable and a multiple-week absence is possible.
Aaron Jones | Left ankle injury | Day-to-day | Questionable Week 10
Jones did not return to the game after a third-quarter injury. The Packers announced the injury as an ankle injury, and Jones left the locker room with his left leg in a boot.
The television broadcast angle was most consistent with a low ankle sprain. If the injury is low grade and the ankle joint is stable, Jones may be able to practice and play this week. An immobilizing boot is sometimes used to limit swelling and isn't always an indication of a severe injury. Expect Jones to have further imaging on Monday.
Monday update: Jones' imaging was reassuring and the Packers believe he could play this week.

Jonathan Taylor | Aggravated right ankle sprain | Week-to-Week | Doubtful Week 10
Taylor re-injured his right ankle on a long run in Week 8 and did not practice last week. Frank Reich told reporters Taylor's condition was a "week-to-week" thing. Unfortunately, that terminology is usually coach-speak for a multiple-week injury.
The Colts chose caution with their young running back this week. Consider Taylor doubtful until the team says he is fully recovered or there are clear signs of a return to strength during practice.
