Our thoughts are with Damar Hamlin and his family, teammates, and people that love him.
DAL @ TEN
- After CeeDee Lamb, Dalton Schultz is the most reliable fantasy play in the Cowboys passing game. The addition of T.Y. Hilton has made Michael Gallup, and Noah Brown mere desperation plays.
- The Cowboys sat Tony Pollard with a thigh injury, but now that the NFC East title and potentially the #1 seed is up for grabs if the Eagles lose and the team has had 10 days off between games, he should be available for Week 18.
- The Titans run defense was still stout despite nothing to play, holding Ezekiel Elliott under two yards per carry.
- Malik Davis ran well in place of Pollard and has some dynasty value as the potential #2 next year with Pollard hitting free agency.
- Joshua Dobbs provided more in the passing game than Malik Willis and will start in Week 18 against Jacksonville with the AFC South title on the line. There are still no trustworthy plays in the Titans passing game.
- Derrick Henry sat with a hip injury, but will be ready to go for Week 18. His replacement, Hassan Haskins, was a dud with the Titans offense unable to sustain drives.
ARI @ ATL
- David Blough started and did enough in the passing game to make Trey McBride and Marquise Brown relevant.
- Greg Dortch had his first down game in a contest where he had significant playing time but still got 10 targets, keeping him in what the heck flex territory for Week 18.
- James Conner was productive under tough circumstances yet again but left the game with a shin injury. If he can’t go in Week 18, Corey Clement would likely be the starter vs. San Francisco.
- Tyler Allgeier was a strong play, as expected, and should be in Week 18 lineups as an RB2 against the Bucs.
- Cordarrelle Patterson was clearly behind Allgeier for carries but had six receptions and has returned to flex-worthy status in PPR leagues.
- Desmond Ridder is making small incremental improvements, but his #1 receiver Drake London’s value hasn’t risen. London is a low-ceiling WR3/Flex at best for Week 18.
MIA @ NE
- Teddy Bridgewater went down with a finger injury. It’s not clear who will start at quarterback for the Dolphins in Week 18 with a playoff berth potentially on the line, but without good news about Bridgewater or Tua Tagovailoa, it will be rookie seventh-round pick, Skylar Thompson.
- Raheem Mostert scored as a receiver and led the team in receptions and yards. Jeff Wilson led the team in carries and did enough as a receiver to be fantasy relevant. Both should be considered what the heck flex plays for Week 18 against the Jets.
- Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill had floor games as receivers, but Hill at least scored on a touch as a runner. Both are WR3/Flex plays if Thompson starts.
- Mac Jones leaned on Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Henry in the passing game, and they are the only Patriots pass-catchers worth considering in Week 18 lineups against the Bills.
- Damien Harris returned to split the backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson, rendering both what-the-heck flex plays at best for Week 18.
- Tyquan Thornton had his best game since a two-touchdown performance in his second appearance. A score and 20 yards per reception average on three catches should boost his dynasty value.
NO @ PHI
- Taysom Hill scored and added some value as a receiver and passer again. He’s a solid TE1 for Week 18.
- Rashid Shaheed overshadowed Chris Olave and looks like a long-term field stretcher for the Saints offense. He’s a WR3/Flex for Week 18 against a Panther defense that was shredded by Tom Brady and company Sunday.
- Juwan Johnson didn’t score, but he was still a core part of the passing game and worth a fantasy start. His dynasty value appears here to stay.
- Gardner Minshew wasn’t as effective as he was in Week 16 (give some respect to the Saints defense, which is on a tear) and had a costly pick-six late in the game to seal the Eagles' fate. Expect Jalen Hurts to get the start in Week 18 with the division and #1 seed on the line.
- Miles Sanders played with a knee brace but didn’t appear to be affected by it. His value is unchanged.
IND @ NYG
- Nick Foles left with an injury, and Sam Ehlinger took over. Ehlinger will start in Week 18 with Matt Ryan backing him up.
- Zack Moss was the clear lead back again and will be an RB2/Flex play against the Texans in Week 18.
- Michael Pittman did enough with Ehlinger to be a viable PPR WR3/Flex play in Week 18.
- Daniel Jones was outstanding as a runner and passer and posted a week-winning stat line. It’s not clear if he and the rest of the Giants starters will play all of Week 18 with nothing to gain, but since they are facing a division rival who has a lot to lose, it’s possible the team approaches the game as they would any other.
- Richie James and Isaiah Hodgins scored, but like Jones, their Week 18 value is subject to uncertainty.
- Saquon Barkley wasn’t a big factor in this one, and he seems like the most likely Giants piece to get a reduced workload in Week 18 to prepare for the playoffs.
